NOTE:​1. Your Phone must be unlocked bootloader and have magisk root
2. This is only for external audio output - through 3.5mm headset or AUX or external DAC
GENERAL FEATURES:
1. Transform your phone into bitperfect network streamer through direct ALSA output. This feature might work on ANY phone or even TV box
2. Works with any external DACs and if available - allow controls for DAC mixer controls
Lately will create minimal generic build, but for now - only extended variant for LG V60.
LG V60 EXCLUSIVE FEATURES:
1. Should works with native rooted kernel, but tested only with attached custom kernel. All creds and special thanks for it - goes to @ErickG233 . Attached kernel mod the same as A12-V2 Walt variant - but unlocked HPAHiQ - better THD for 2dB, but increase power consumption to 2mA + Activated ES91219c Crosstalk + few custom internal controls for mixer.
2. Ability to choose output device - Depp buffer, Low Latency, Ultra Low Latency, Compress Offload...
3. Ability to choose FIR filter for DAC
4. Ability to choose Headset type - for High impedance for example
5. Ability to activate MQA register in DAC - not tested and probably not works, DAC itself able to unfold more information - but require additional actions from audio primary HAL for which there is no sources.
6. Ability to choose Master mode for I2S - not sure if it works or not, but keep for experiments
7. Ability to set Bit Width and Sample Rate for DAC - not really clear how this should work, but default according to logs playing almost always on 16 bit / 44100 kHz - maybe for you set 24 bit / 88 kHz would sound better
8. Statistics about playback directly from /proc/asound/.../hw
9. DIRECT DAC volume control (warning - set it to 100% if you want to use android sound)
ISSUES:
1. Android. Set all android volume to 0 - any sound from system will switch audio output and will mute your streamer. To fix that bush button "Init LG Hifi DAC" from Settings tab and restart your favorite audio service.
OTHER NOTES:
1. Custom kernel should not be really required (roll is the must anyway) - but tested with it.
2. High Impedance magisk mod is not really required - but tested with it.

Had to look it up to know what this was, but thanks for contributing to development of any kind on this device. I am still trying to get up the courage to root.

Please do note that the included kernel does not work for the v600tm on android 12, it causes bootloops.

1. Do these system settings apply globally (not onlly for these streaming services)? How can I test that?
2. This application is supposed to be used in LAN environment, because it lacks some basic network security configurations.

1. Yes - this is global settings. You can change volume and other options and hear difference.
2. Usually I prefer WLAN (WiFi). LAN also should work well or small changes might be required in a few services to make it work with LAN by default.

Has anyone tried this on a phone other than a V60? I have a OnePlus 9 Pro and Nord N10 I want to try this on. I'd use the N10 as a dedicated music player exclusively.

I'm having trouble getting this mod to install. It looks like I'm getting stuck at step 7. If someone can give me some help, I'd appreciate.
Also, can this mod be installed using TWRP?

I think you didn't switch to usr folder with "cd ~/.."
I updated README #6. Thanks for letting me know.
If you have issues - look inside 'start-pure.sh' and check file names. They are simple enough.
We can use TWRP, but I have not enough time to pack it and in general steps are simple. You are welcome to contribute and pack it in any better way. I will be glad to update instructions
