Hi,
I use iPhone 13 mini with the Amazfit GTR3 Pro watch. I've update the phone for the new iOS16 just now. After update, on the watch the Bluetooth calling isn't working. The notification is working flawlessly. I've tried everything, but no sucess. Factory reset, BT connection delete, BT re-pair.... The two BT connection between the phone and the clock are exist, but the phone calling and recieving aren't working. "Bluetooth calling disabled." I am alone with this problem? Is there any solution for work the BT call on watch again? Thanks!

Answer from Zepp Support Team:
Hello Bubba,
Thank you for contacting Amazfit/Zepp Customer Support.
Have you also updated Zepp app to version 7.1.0? Please update the app to this version and try again. Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Unfortunately in my region the App Store Zepp available version is 7.0.3.

It is not a good sign if the Amazfit support team is not aware of the current version number of the ZEPP app.
New info from support:
Hi Bubba,
That 7.1.0 version should be fully released in recent two days. Please kindly have a little more patience for that. Thank you very much for your understanding!
Sincerely,
Following here. I’m waiting just this solution to buy my gtr4. I’m suspecting that it could be Apple blocking some functionality, as they made with others wear os products (ticwatch for example)

I am very new to Android and this is my first post.
I hope you wise people here can help me with a problem, that I am having with my phone.
I have looked for help on YouTube but most posts seem to be Indian, so I am not sure if they are relevant to my phone.
I bought a Xiaomi Redmi note 2 recently, from Gearbest and for the most part, it meets my needs very well, however I cannot get Bluetooth to work with any of my other devices.
The car ice tells me that "my phone doesn't have the right profile?
The car's ice, my Nexus 7 and the hifi just find the phone but don't actually connect.
Android version 5.02 LRX22G
MIUI Version 66.77.33.00(LHMCNCH) Stable
Cpu octo core 2.2Ghz
Ram 2GB
I would be very grateful if you android experts could help me.
I use this ROM: http://www.needrom.com/download/miui-7-2-3-0-redmi-note-2/
Bluetooth works fine with it.
slimiui and nik ROM. Works well. I had same problem.
Thank you for your replies.
I have tried the link that you posted but it wants me to log in. I can't find a link to create an account, so that I can download the rom.
Can you recommend a video on YouTube, that will show me how to install rom?
I have seen a few videos that use the mui update app but this app crashes as soon as I select the 3 dots. So I am guessing that I'll have to do it on pc.
What software will I need to backup my phone? (I don't want to end up with an expensive paperweight)
what other software do I need to install a rom?
I'm not bad working with Windows but android is a complete mystery to me, I would really appreciate your help, patience and any useful tips you may have.
Thank you in advance!

Hello all,
I have just received my new amazfit bip (international version).
Unfortunately Hebrew notifications cannot be displayed on the watch.
I have tried to look for a solution in the web, but most of the results were posted several months ago and I could not find any solution for my problem.
Is there any solution for that?
Any help will be appreciated!

Thank you for you fast reply, unfortunately, the last time (at least the one that I have found) the bip was mentiond on the facebook page was couple of months ago.
In your attacked link I have found ROMs for the other amazfit versions, is there a solution for the bip? (Did I miss something?)
Thanks

Hi,
Pavel here, reporting for duty
Unfortunately, there is no solution for the Bip, not an official one and nothing on the non-officials ones as well.
you can load custom fonts into the watch, but the last try i had with that ended up with mirrored Hebrew, unusable, and on the 2nd flash it killed my Bip.
As sad as it might sound, I would accept my gloom future and the fact that it will probably NEVER will support Hebrew.

Hi.
It's a nice surprise to see my name here
I recently made a "patch" for RTL support. It's not a firmware fix but at the app side, and should be at the next version of Gadgetbridge app.
If you wish, you can find an unofficial version of the app at the Facebook group from the link above.
Hi all,
I just ordered my Amazfit Bip. I used to have Mi Band 2 and Mi Band 3.
I flashed a firmware to support Hebrew on Mi Band 3 and it worked for some time, but eventually, working with a Pixel 3 and the Notification and Fitness app (without MiFit app) both bands lost their bluetooth capabilities and are not communicating with the outer world any more.
Scared of this, I intend to use gadgetbridge to flash the Hebrew font and then just work with Alert bridge and MiFit together. will that work?
Thanks!
should work, not in a perfect way, but should work
Is it possible to install the Hebrew fonts on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04)?
Any help / guidance will be appreciated.
Thanks.

It wasn't released internationally yet, so you didn't do a wise choice... Try using the adb commands to set the language to EN, maybe it works, at least partially...

Could you please provide us the SN number and Model number on the back of the watch?
Did you order Chinese version or English version?
Please understand that the Chinese version watch language can not be changed. If you can not read Chinese, please contact the seller to return the watch.

I don't remember exactly but you can do it by editing the build prop and reboot...it's 3 lines to edit I think...
One is change "local" to EU and the other line is basically change language...
Search for it here on the Amazfit thread

No verge lite is not android based, so he can not use build.prop. Probably, if we had the firmware we would be able to extract the res file and translate, in the same way we did for bip, but it is soon to say.
Ok didn't know that at all...I was thinking of buying the verge lite...Will there be any development our custom rooms for this watch I wonder...
I hope the OP gets it sorted.....

(verge lite)
I just bought it from china and only chinese language appear. I hope someone can share the way to solve this problem
Verge lite does not run Android as far as I know, but a proprietary OS like BIP, so don't waste your time with adb. A new Amazfit app 3.0 was released on PlayStore, if it doesn't work then you will have to wait until someone hack it like they did with BIP/Core (of course, it will void warranty).
It seems to be already an English firmware actually.
Don't ask me how they managed to get it.

I ordered the Verge Lite from Aliexpress at the end of June and just got it today and it's running English firmware. Manufacturer date was 07/2019.
I received my Verge Lite (Global version) yesterday to replace my BIP. So far so good, but after I connected the watch with the Mi Fit app it started an update to V1.3.2.0 and now it gets stuck on "updating Fonts". It fails every time and the only thing I can see on the watch is "Open the app and go to Software updates" so I can't use the watch anymore. Any ideas on how to handle this? Is a custom firmware already available?
Very bad experience with Amazfit and so far no customer support (no reply yet)
That's the problem with devices like BIP/Verge lite: once you get a problem the only way to try to workaround is waiting until the battery is full depleted and hope that it will start working again next boot. Or wait for a new firmware update and hope it is fixed.

I bought an international version of verge lite and I didn't have this problem. You could try to factory reset the verge lite, make sure you install english Mi Fit app (there are apk available somewhere here https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/6606?query=mi fit apk)
And then try to sync it and see if the watch displays in english.

First of all you need to register an account through oppo website as doing it in the coloros app requires you to have a China mobile number.
Once the account is made download the coloros app using the QR code from the watch.
In the app login using the account you made.
From my experience the coloros which is available in the app store could not connect to the watch. It required the specific coloros app from the QR code given by the watch during setup.

With the Chinese version there is no way it can connect to WearOS. You will basically use ColorOS especifically the one that it asks you to download after using the QR code given by the watch.

There is the Chinese version of the watch and there is this global version. The Chinese version uses ColorOS while the global version uses WearOS. It is a bit tricky to setup the Chinese version of the watch as some of the instructions are in Chinese and the QR code takes you to a site different from Playstore to get the ColorOS. However the global version is a lot easier to connect as its using the WearOS available in playstore.

I also apparently got the Chinese version of the Oppo Watch (46mm) from Bludiode.com in England. I thought I was getting the international version. I have tried to connect it to Wear OS using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, but it connects and gets about 1/8th of the way through "getting watch information"....then stops.
How did you get your watch to run Color OS? I have tried to use the Health App it wants me to download, use my e-mail address...then it wants a phone number? I've tried suing my USA number, but that doesn't work. I've read other posts where people say that you need an international number for that to work? How did you get past that step?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm sitting here with a $300 paperweight right now. Would love to connect it to something and have it work....at all.

Hi skersh,
I have an Oppo phone as well. So I registered an Oppo account when I got the phone. Since you don't have an Oppo phone I quess you need to register an Oppo account with a Chinese phonenumber. When the watch is connected to your phone via the Chinese health app (Hey Tap Health for Wear OS) the watch works perfect.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it. Any ideas on how I can get a "chinese phone number" just to make this watch work? Or, would purchasing a cheap Oppo phone, then registering that phone and getting and Oppo account make the watch work that way?
Just trying to weigh my options here.
I did contact the seller in England and told them that they sold me the "Chinese version" and not the "Global or International Version" and have asked for an exchange or refund. No word back from them yet.

Hi Steve,
I would try to find a Chinese phonenumber. Perhaps Google can help? If you buy a cheap Oppo phone, the watch will be connected with that phone and not woth your Samsung Note. Can you register an Oppo acoount with Oppo in England?
I have found this video on YT. Maybe it helps?
Cheers,
Laurens

Laurens,
Thank you and thanks for the video link! I'll purchase an Oppo Phone to connect to the watch. I'm glad that you also told me that it won't connect with my Samsung Note, that answered another question I was going to pose. Perhaps, I'll at least be able to connect and use the watch with the Oppo phone and in the meantime, hope that a bootloader is unlocked later on and allows Wear OS to be flashed to it sometime soon!
Appreciate the help! Thanks again!
Steve

SUCCESS!
Laurens,
Thank you VERY much for that video! After watching it, I used my phone number (USA) instead of trying to use an e-mail address to set up and account.
IT WORKED!
I was able to connect to my Oppo Watch using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, after downloading the Health app (from scanning the QR Code on my Oppo Watch) I got it synced up and it's working fine! I did have to use a second phone using Google Translate to deciper some of the setup screens, but I'm getting notifications, I've picked a watch face and everything seems to be working just fine!
I really appreciate your help and for now, will use my Note 20 Ultra with the Oppo Watch.
Take care and have a great rest of your weekend!

Hi,
Glad you.managed to get the watch working with your S20. I am.also considering getting the oppo watch Chinese version and I currently use a Samsung note 10 plus.
What I wanted to ask you is that when the oppo watch is tracking your fitness (steps, workouts) via the health app in coloros, does it also show up on the Samsung health app on your S20?
I currently have the Samsung galaxy watch and naturally it's all in sync with the phone health app but I hate the watch and would love to get the oppo watch in stainless steel!
Would appreciate any info thanks

Yes, I'm sure.
Regarding your other question: Maybe you will find help in some sort of China-Phone forums. I guess no one will know the app (or your watch) here in the WearOS forum.
Ohh thanks
