With a script, or a separate app, would it be possible to regulate the temperature color of the backlight on the Hisense A5 too?
IMHO Hisense A5 have a backlight color temperature which is way too cold, and at night, my eyes burn and suffer.

The first step is finding whether its a hardware or software feature, and if its hardware, whether the A5 supports it at a hardware level. A great feature regardless

Yeah! How do we get to know that?
And, If it's a HW related feature A5 do not have, could we have any "filtering" tricks to make it warmer?

Hi all, I am a newbie in XDA, and I do not know if it is right to post this thread in this sub-forum although I read the rule. I hope I will not bother anyone in this thread.
I spent weeks to developing a photo edit app for Windows Phone 7 and success placed on the MS marketplace. But a reviews says it could not run on Samsung Focus, I test my app on simulator and my own mobile (HTC HD7) hundreds time, it works perfect. But I and my friends do not have a focus to test it. So I am not sure if it is work as that review said. My question is anyone own a original Samsung focus could help me to test the app?
My app (PonyPhoto) is a photo editor to re-size photo, re-range photo, cut photo, add frames, adjust photo attribute (bright, foucs, color, etc), add effect (Invert, Grayscale, Water Wave, etc.)
It is free for download and with no-ads. But the free version has some function limited. (for test, the free version is available)
Marketplace link for test and download:

Sorry for my bad english.
PS1: If the moderators consider I post a wrong thread, please move/remove this thread and PM me telling which sub-forum shall I post.
PS2: As a newbie I am not able to post the marketplace link in my thread.
no one test for me?
oh, what a disappointed...
upgrade to V1.3
Today PonyPhoto upgrade to V1.3. Anyone could get it on marketplace
1. *Gif Creator. (Composite photos into a *.gif image.)
2. Share *gif image to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr.
3. Minor bug fixes.
You have posted this in the windows mobile subforum, you need to repost it in the WP7 subforum.
Thanks guy, I try to post on the WP7 forums hours ago and now the thread is removed. I do not know why.
Anyone could please move this thread to the wp7 forums? Thanks in advanced!
Well, I'm not sure how PonyPhoto works on Samsung phones. But it does work quite perfect on my HTC HD7. It's really good. I especially love the composite function out there. It just feels like my photos can MOVE! Wow! Soooo fantastic! Nice app.

Slim has their own theme engine in the pipes...as for hover: probably not. Slim tries to keep all code light, and having both hover and head's up seems superfluous

Except in Slim, there are special tweaks to it. For example, to enable, you need to go in each individual app that you want Head's Up from...also swiping to the left eliminates it from the notification tray entirely, swiping to the right, however, dismisses it but keeps in the notification tray

Thanks for your quick response
I'm about to flash 7.6 right now. The issues I've had with the previous build which I honestly don't know are problems with the build or with other issues.
1. Google Maps crash
2. The calculator app force locks the device
3. Pushbullet doesn't sign in for some reason.
Other than that, it's a great ROM and I hope that you continue building it up
Cant believe that this is normal, but when I scroll, the font/icons become blurry. I googled about it and the only answer I found is, that old Amoled had this problem. But even my Galaxy S3 is crystal clear when scrolling. It's like a motion-blur effect in vertical direction when scrolling vertically.
Do you have this problem too? Actually it's one some of my old displays too, but I dont expect it on an IPS panel from 2016...
Try this
Settings/Developer Options/ Tick on "Force GPU Rendering" this should make your Android phone smoother/snappier!
If root available try L Speed/Entropy/fstrim apps found on Play Store!
LG G5 & LG V20 are snappy beasts and are well optimised with Snapdragon 820 and is better than Samsung.
Thanks for posting this standard answer again like you did before on another thread No this does not do anything, like I told you before. No it's not rooted, and trim does not affect how the display works. Are you even posting stuff you copy paste from somewhere else?

You see the double frames, in my oppinion the display just has not 60hz/fps or has horrible input lag / refresh timings.
Hi everyone.
First of all I really appreciate this whole XDA Amazfit thread and honor every dev posting their hard work in here
I'm a Pebble/Stratos switcher and as much I adore Stratos services I do miss the variability of watchfaces as they were on Pebble.
This would more of a feasibility question whether it is even possible to create such watchfaces as they were/are on Pebble watches. For example see the Fisheye watchface

You can always create yours watchfaces. Here, in Amazfit xda subforum, there's an app to create your own watchfaces without any programming skills, or in fabiobarbon site.
Take a look at this two options

I'm aware of them but thanks. I'm looking more for something that can change the background based on the actual weather. WFZ maker can't do this obviously (and the 8bit mode is just ugly) and I'm afraid that such a logic cannot be implemented without programming skills.
I wouldn't even mind having an companion app to set everything I want to have on the watchface, but I'm just curious, whether something like this is doable.
Only APK watchfaces can do this. They are easy to install and use but be aware that they may break or cause problems after every firmware updates. You can find many on AmazfitWatchfaces.com and VergeIt.it.
