Question unlock honor 50 bootloader - Honor 50

Today i booted my honor 50 into fastboot mode and executed this command:
fastboot flashing unlock

this message showed up in terminal:

and the attached message showed up on the phone which i didn't expect it at all
i selected "Unlock the bootloader" and it formatted my data but after it completed and i entered fastboot mode again the bootloader was still locked.
i didn't expect to my phone's bootloader become unlocked but I want to know that if this behaviour is normal/expected on Honor devices or something is changing?

При входе в личный кабинет (верхняя строка настроек) телефон выдает предупреждение о разблокировке загрузчика?

After updating to Magic UI 6.0 i booted into fastboot and executed this command: fastboot flashing unlock.
and no it didn't give me any warning about bootloader when i signed in into my acc.

The result is the same as yours. Huawei hasn't had such a screen for a long time. Perhaps in the future something will give for us on the new Honor.

i have edl firehose for honor 50, 50 lite, 60, 60 pro & 70, we can dump gpt & once we have gpt we can create a unbrick package, Interested user Please DM me..

That's bizarre! Are you sure you were doing that on Honor 50? Could you root your deivice by using Magisk?
I am very interested in your device.

yes pretty sure i have for honor 50 & 50 Lite, but i am asking for EDL unbrick package not root

I have entered 9008 through the short contact point, but I do not have files such as firehose or GPT (I do not know what is required for Qualcomm processor to flash). I don't want to sell it, because I'm in China, and you can buy it at Amazon at a very cheap price. Thank you for your reply

Hello I am trying to boot my phone to recovery mode to do a factory reset since it keeps restarting and it does not passes the Logo screen, it is stuck on a looping state. I tried to access the recovery mode usign the volume buttons but is not working, it keeps restarting. I did not enable debugging usb since I never knew I was going to need it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i could you some help as I got a phone for my partner. I got her an honor 70 Pro Plus. I want to know if it's possible to root it and install a working Android system instead of trying to bypass Google by using G-Box or gspace. At this stage. I would like to put any operating system that would work with the chipset it has as I haven't done anything like this in years, so I could use some help. in years, I mean about 15 year
