Hello Users,
A Long time ago I ran an Avast scan and it detected something called AmusementApplication.exe in the AppData\Roaming\AmusementApplication folder, but now I can't find it. (It probably got deleted.)
And now I ran a Sophos scan and it found something called "AwakeSupremeDROP".

I thought its a hardware issue as there is no change on display after phone restart. Even there is no boot screen logo. So I connected my phone with my PC as I have already configured "Droid Explorer" software to control the phone from the PC. Using this software I can see the phone is working good in the background but the display remains noisy. So I tried to restore the app+system data using titanium backup app. To my surprise the display is back again after restore. but after 15-20 mins, again the same issue starts - display become noisy but in the background everything works good. So it looks like software issue as I restore my app+system data again it works properly for 15-20 mins.
So I installed launcher pro application. Using this phone runs good for 1-2 hours.
But after that the same issue is back.
I am not able to figure out what can I do to resolve this issue.
I put the phone into flight mode over night and the drain was a bit less than when on. 15% in 8.5 hours, compared to the 25% with it on.
However, as you can see from the screen shots, something is still causing the phone is "wake up". I've turned off everything in the process of trying to find out what it is, but still cannot find out.
Can someone have a look at the shots and see if ye can pick out something.
I must say that the connectivity issue I'm having(keeps giving me a connected to wifi network notification every few mins) could be causing these wakelocks?? I don't know myself.
Anyways, I'd appreciate any thoughts on how to sort out the wakelocks.

s-voice has a wake up feature turned on by default
Continuously connecting to Wi-Fi is the power saving mode.
You can deactivate it by dialing *#0011#, menu, Wi-Fi.
The only way I found to allow the phone to truly sleep was not to have Wi-Fi on at all. Off when screen off also seems to work.

hello everyone,
it looks like i'm facing real problem here
it started when that mobile fell on the ground it had some cracks on the screen and then when i turned the power on again it appeared....
when i leave the mobile and the screen go black for about 10 minutes (standby mode ) the whole mobile powers off and i have to remove the battery and put it on again to power it on but if i left the mobile screen goes black with a music on then it doesn't do that it works normally
that problem disappeared for 5 months after that came back again few days ago and do the same
so anyone have any idea what is that !!?
Try Reflashing software ...
or probably get it repaired by qualified personnel since there appears to be loose contact ...
ofcourse if your phone has the problem as you suggested in title then it's better off contacting these guys ...they are allegedly pro at such stuff

That is a hardware problem. You have no choice but to get it repaired. The symptoms clearly state that this has nothing to do with software. I am sorry.
thanks guys for helping i tried to reflash it but nothing happened so it's a hardware problem
guess i'm gonna repair it anyway
thanks alot for concerning
Was testing out my Desire X's camera and my butter finger'ness came back and it slipped, smashed the ground. The screen looks fine, it just smashed open st the bottom. The battery doesn't really fit in properly, but if you push it in hard it fits in properly, but the device doesn't turn on.
There is also this two clips, does it have anything to do with proving battery power?

My question is, can this device still be recoverable as its not as bad. And I had paid money for it. Cheapest way to fix this? I've tried pushing everything into place but it just flings out.
When connecting the device to the PC it has a blinking led at the top which is red. Which blinks on and off.
Edit - the device turns on just fine oo freaking strong device.
Yeah, should be fixable. I think you'll need this as replacement and hopefully it will work fine then. Didn't test myself, I only had to replace screen assembly some time ago, but this part is easy to replace, provided that you've got the right screw driver available.
Hi all,
I tried installing PrimeOS using the windows installer which gave me an error with something like:
~disk service raised an external error
Then I tried to install it using a bootable USB, but at the partition selection my usb keyboard stops working/ responding.
So then I tried to launch the live usb to see if the image was faulty. This gave me some errors to, you can see the errors in the picture.
It then boots the PrimeOS logo and after that is shuts off. So I am completely lost because I do not own an PS/2 keyboard. Atleast I think that is what is holding me back from installing it.
error when trying to run PrimeOS live:

I managed to get a keyboard and it runs smootly except I am not getting any audio. I downloaded alsamixer apk from a random website but it does not show anything and when I try to click on settings it closes the app.
Also I tried to put apps on my homescreen like Fx but after that my desktop freezed and I was unable to switch from "pages" to see my apps until I closed all apps.
Please help me out here. I am absolutely nothing when it comes to code at this moment. sadly...
Thank you in advance
Regards,
BrotherHarm
