Mi A3 - Battery draining after last update - Xiaomi Mi A3 Questions & Answers

Hello to everyone, I noticed that after the last update 1st august 2022 the battery can't last for more than 1 day of normale use.
I don't know if it's a software problem (Android update) or just the battery that must be replaced (the phone has just passed 2 years)

up!

Bug-free system ?

Hi people,
I yesterday installed CM12 .1-20160203-nightly-9100.
kernel version is 3.0.64-CM-g9bfbaf33

Wed Feb 3 10:16:24 PST 2016
version number
cm_i9100-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY48G
I am wondering is this combination is bug free, or not ? Today I had non-responsive system, and I had to reboot the phone. After reboot battery was on 0%, although before it was on 38%. After 10 minutes of charging, battery level was on 50%.
So, I am wondering is this because of the software, or this could be battery problem (4 years old battery is in the phone).
Thanks in advance.
Zoran

Android 10 upgrade pulled?

I think they pulled the Android 10 update. I had the upgrade to Android 10 pending on my phone since it dropped. It randomly rebooted on its own while in my pocket (had to unlocked screen to complete boot). Fearing the worst I checked the OS version and found I was still on Android 9 with the November security update. When I check for updates, it says I'm up-to-date.
Did anyone else hold off on upgrading to Android 10 and found the update missing from their phone today?

Yep they pulled it.... I flashed back to Android 9 last night (due to wanting to install the Jan Sec patch) ...thinking I'd see the immediate update when returning back to the Android setup. I thought it was a fluke so I flashed again. Nope... they definitely pulled it.
I had to sideload the Android 10 OTA to install it via ADB.

NOTE 10 - Phone Keeps Flashing "Same Update" Twice Everytime....

Ever since i bought this phone in March, every update is installed Twice! - Once i update any security patch, next day same update is pushed and i have to update it again for the notification to disappear.
Due to this my Phones Motherboard already have been bricked once...
Now - A new patch have been released and i updated. Again today i am getting notification to update phone.
PLEASE ADVISE
So you've replaced the motherboard once I'm assuming? Maybe you should try downloading the last version of the firmware installed and try a clean install?

Some serious issue

Before April 2022 update my mi A3 is working fine .but after updating 10 days later while browsing net my phone suddenly hanging and reboot itself sometimes it's reboot after 4-5hours i don't wots wrong with phone is it with update or battery problem plz let me know if anyone faced same issue

S21 Settings/Software update saying "Your software is up to date" with old software Android version 11, UI version 3.1.

I bought this unlocked phone on ebay last December 2022 for a good price and it has worked great with a few issues. This time I can't seem to update the software even though it's old Android 11, UI 3.1 from 2021 and new software Android 13, UI 5.1 is available (looked at my son's S21+ last night). I tried to update in phone settings and says it's up to date. I tried with Smartswitch and there is no screen coming up that says an update is available. So from my research apparently I may have to flash new firmware with Oden and Frija, but this could brick my only phone, so I'm reluctant. I'm posting here to see if I'm missing something, or will I have to do the entire Oden/Frija procedure? If I leave my phone at Android 11 will my phone start having issues in the future with old software? That's my concern.
Thanks
I have the same problem. Maybe the solution is backup all data to samsung account and fresh reinstall a rom in the same version as the phone is to not lose data. After that the update via OTA should be released. But these are all guesses. I will test it on mine
