I found the stock T-Mobile Android 9 ROM for a Galaxy Tab Active Pro, but when I try and use Odin to flash I get errors like SW REV CHECK FAIL : [boot]Fused 8 > Binary 2. Also, I have tried everything I could find on Google and here about getting the OEM Unlocking option to show, but no matter what I try I cannot get it to show. Am I screwed or am I missing something here? It shouldn't be this hard to go back to Android 9 since it's Android 11 that broke one of the features I need. The feature that no longer works is NFC when in Kiosk mode. It only works until the device goes to sleep. Once you wake up the device you have to exit Kiosk mode to get it working again.

Hi, I have samusng galaxy i9001 (S Plus Model). I installed cyanogenmod 10.1, but my battery is dying faster and my operators mobile internet data can't work either, so I want to go back to my stock android version. I found out that I need to go to download mode so I did, but the problem is: after i hold home+power+vol. down, green android guy appears and below it said 'download... do not turn off the target!', it's all that is on the screen and it just stays like that forever... I would be very gratefull if you could help me
My brother has a galaxy tab10.1 gt-p7500, I tried to root it in the past and manage to brick it so I send it to be fix. When it was fix, it was sent back to my brother but it was later given to me as my brother has a new toy to play with. At that time, the tablet was messy. I can't update and it's slow. So I did a factory reset and what I did not realize is that there is no recovery. Now I tried to flash lollipop in it but since the download mode opens up every minute, the thing does not charge. I need it to shut down till it's fully charge so I can flash it properly.
Also here is what I want to happen, please suggest the steps if it is possible as I am a bit confused by all the things they say in various forums.
- uses android 5.2 Lollipop
- rooted
- has cynamogen
For reference the download mode has this >>>
-----------------------------------
Odin3 download mode
protocol v2.1
-----------------------------------
Reason: No kernel
secure mode: secure
check signature: check
custom Binary Download
(it turned off again so I don't know the rest)
Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500. I got it about 2 years ago. About a year after purchase I rooted the phone to install a backup software, but I did not know that rooting would disable software updates and when I found out that S4 had gotten the Lolipop update but my phone wouldn't show anything for two months, I decided to install the "original" Lolipop from Samsung. I found it on a website which I do not remember anymore.
Well here's where the problem starts - Apparently my phone was from Korea and it was imported to India. As a result of me installing an OS made for India on a Korean phone, the SIM wouldn't work and the OS ran very crappily. I got the SIM unlocked by an operator but the OS just sucks really bad. It gets stuck very often, apps close randomly and they behave as if they have been relaunched every 5-10 mins. Sometimes if I'm playing music the player will stop mid-track and I have to press play again. The menu and homescreen also do the same thing, keep behaving as if they have been relaunched every few minutes or every time I unlock the screen.
Any idea what I can do to fix my phone? I'm ready to go back to a previous version of android if that means a smooth, non-annoying experience.
Check your actual version of the stock rom from sammobile.com. Download the correct stock rom and re flash through Odin
Thanks, but I just ended up installing CyanogenMod and gotta say I'm more than happy with it :3

1.) DOWLOADING MODE
2.) TWRP TEAMWIN RECOVERY PROJECT VERSION 2.2.0 (within this I have many options like, install, backup, restore, Wipe, Mount Settings, Advanced and so on.)
If i only turn on the Tablet P7500 i get errore message at the screen:
"FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN"
I have installed KIES but the TABLET has been recognised!!
I wanted to install ROM of this post
Thanks for your help in advance.

Your best bet in my opinion, is reinstalling the stock firmware with Odin and your tablet in download mode. From there you can start re-rooting and reflashing a custom recovery.
I know, it's a lot of lost time, but at least you'll be able to flash your custom ROM at end

Thanks, DONE and Working again.
I installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from here but im my case very unstable many crashes, maybe i did something wrong.
Wifi does not work and the other side very often frozen images.
I would only to speed a littble bit up my TAB P7500
Thanks.
I have the same ROM installed on my tablet and WiFi is working fine here. However there are the Google play services that keep crashing when it automatically updates itself to the latest version. There's pretty much nothing you can do to stop it, except for uninstalling the Google play services and replacing it with the last version that worked, over and over again...
I don't remember what version that was exactly but it's mentioned in the same thread where you got the custom ROM from.
Unless Google decides to fix what it broke all the devices running an Nvidia tegra 2 SoC are left in the cold.
What I'm going to say now is probably not what you'll be wanting to hear, it's time to look for a new tablet
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus (SM-G965F) (Android Pie 9.0) and I rooted my phone by using Magisk, after that I cannot setup PIN or pattern. After I setup PIN/pattern and I go to add biometrics screen, when I confirm my PIN/pattern, there's a popup tell me that "PIN/pattern is incorrect."
How I root my phone ?
1. Flash stock Android Pie firmware via Odin
2. Flash TWRP recovery
3. Boot into TWRP
4. Wipe data
5. Flash RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip
6. Flash no-verity-opt-encrypt-samsung-1.0.zip
7. Flash kernel ElementalX-S9-2.01.zip
8. Flash root file Magisk-v18.0.zip
9. Reboot
Did I do something wrong ?
OMG! Finally I've found someone reporting the same issue! My situation is a bit different, but the result is the same as yours. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F), and here are a few things worth noting:
I flashed the latest Pie-based firmware for the LUX-region from updato.com through ODIN
I flashed twrp-3.3.0-0-starlte.img.tar through ODIN
I tried flashing both no-verity-opt-encrypt-samsung-1.0.zip and no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip, and I flashed RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip
I did not flash a custom kernel
Finally, I flashed Magisk v19.2.zip
Everything seemed to work just fine (during my limited time on Pie), but I encountered the same weird behaviour as you when trying to set up my fingerprint. If I dared to reboot my phone after that, it got stuck in some weird loop where the SIM unlock screen will show for a split second, and then turn off again for a moment. That pattern was repeated continuously, and sometimes it rebooted itself. I could basically not get back into my phone.
Please, PLEASE, tell me you've figured this out!? Or if not you, then somebody else. For now, I've restored the backup I made through TWRP prior to flashing Android Pie, so I'm back to a rooted version of Android Oreo. I'll probably stay there unless I have a solution for this problem, cause I just can't see myself using my phone without root access.
The joys of being a power user...
Same problem
I'm using a Samsung S9 (SM-G9600) and my rooting process was quite the same as yours. Phone works just fine, but I can't seem to set any kind of lock screen (including fingerprints, which forbids me from using fingerprint unlock on other apps too).
It's Samsung security stuff, you'd have to remove it to be able to use security again.
As to what exactly you need to remove, I'm not really sure.
Anyone got any updates? I got the same problem. I tried removing the *.key files in twrp to reset the Pin. It does work and it resets the pin asking for a new one but when i set it to 0000 and try to register a fingerprint it says the pin is incorrect.
