As the title says, looking for advice for brands/models that are easy to root without any issues. I will be purchasing about 10 devices and will need to root to test various stuff (Personal reasons) and would want the most basic device that runs android and is rootable with no bootloader issues.
Currently i had no issue with Pixel 6 (Can simple turn on OEM unlocking). I bought the phone directly via google. I would like to know if there are other brands/models that allow such easy of access for rooting. I looked into OnePlus and some others, i think this would be best place to ask so any help is great.
My region is Canada if that is of any help. Hoping for budget phones if possible!

Any way to get Google Assistant to work on this device yet? I have tried a couple different ways that have been out suggesting that you can get Google Assistant on ANY Android device from Marshmallow and later but I can't get it to work by saying "OK Google". TIA!!!

Hi, you are partially right, but the main difference between the Q&A S3 Forum and my Q&A/T thread is that the purpose of my thread is that everyone can react and post on my thread and, the main purpose, is that members are helping each other without opening a new thread everytime in the Q&A S3 Forum.
kindest regards, kuzibri

Hi,
Go to the Playstore and download Google Assistant Commands and set it up to your needs. Works fine on my Samsung, even in Dutch. If I say "open a certain Website, the site is opened, so IMO it works. Hope very well this will work for you too. Good luck!!

The whole point of separate threads contained in a sub forum is that they are searchable, archiveable and relative to the issue in question. It's not really helpful to contain all questions and all solutions in one humongous mixed up thread.
One thread containing multiple questions/subjects/solutions can quickly become messy when there are several separate topics being discussed at the same time. Who's replying to what etc.?
It's akin to simply combining every single thread in this forum into one big thread. Confusing to say the least when you're searching for a solution to a particular issue.

Forgot to say that I monitor my thread on a regular basis for off topic posts, which will be removed ASAP. So only relevant posts will show up in my thread and will in this way avoid that it becomes "messy", of which you are afraid for. You do not have to agree with my way of helping people with my Q&A/T Threads, but have a look at this two links:
1. Link one explains the purpose of this Q&A/T Template project: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474979
Link 2 shows a complete list of all already created Q&A/T Template Threads:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46350928&postcount=6. In this post are listed all already created Q&A/T Template threads e.g. 123.

I am only able to enter the phone in Safe Mode and it says I can't do nothing but make a Factory Reset... Is that true ? Cause I just came out of a 2 Day ordeal of recovering from Samsung Notes and Evernote ! Do I have to start over ?

How is Localhost set up for Gradle in Android Studio?
I am trying to "Sync Project with Gradle Files" by clicking on the elephant icon in Android Studio. Why do I get the following errors? Is there something I need to do in Ubuntu to make localhost defined or active?

Android Virtual Device Testing Log

I am using Android Studio on a Ubuntu virtual machine.
I want to use one of the emulators that comes with Android Studio. They are also called virtual devices. Instead of sending my code to an actual physical device for testing, Android Studio allows us to pick a virtual device from a list of devices and system images. After find out my computer could not handle a high resolution option, I picked the appropriate ARM image. But when I launched the device, I could see that it seemed the emulator was trying to load but it stopped after just a few seconds. with this error. Is there any way to trouble shoot this? Is there a log somewhere?

How is this about Android Q & A and instead not about Android development? I am using Android Studio.
So any issue with Android Studio is Android Q & A?
