I am already using it and I can say it is a pretty good ROM for a beta. there are minor bugs but its understandable since this is an early build, but i can say this rom is already good for daily use and its much smoother feel than 12.1. so Kudos to Tux111

Flashed it, but i still can't use SIM since they removed carriers support on Android 12 July update. Other functions work well

Great Rom thanks for android 13.
By far this is the fastest and smoothest Rom I have used so far in Xz1 keep it up

No, I'm in the middle of going to 13. Only flashed TWRP 3.7.0 9-0 and all internal files of 12 still encrypted with no way to enter pin-code

Nah. Checked right now with 13 installed - still nothing. It just doesn't ask for a pin to decrypt like it used to on older ROMs

my xz1 device runs perfectly, before that i rooted my device on a pixel rom[10] and unrooted but after installing this rom i had to stop using it because it makes banking apps know my device has been rooted in the past, especially roms like lineageo 20 don't reveal being rooted in the past but the experience is terrible, how to fix this, i really want to experience try this rom

After installing these firmware’s (android 13 and 12), 4g and the mobile network constantly disappear. Maybe this is a problem with the modem config. Changing the modem config does not help and I don't know which one works better in Ukraine. How to find out which config works on stock firmware and transfer it to custom?

Some tips
How to pass SafetyNet Check that is, hide root permissions from apps that detect it
Magisk 20.4 does his work pretty well, so often just flash Magisk zip directly after flashing the ROM, then reboot.
If you already flashed and booted ROM, don't wipe anything, but try this.
• Flash Magisk;
• Reboot to system;
• Open Magisk, enable Magisk Hide from settings, then go to Magisk Hide section and hide:
- PlayStore
- PlayService
- Google Pay (if installed)
• Go to Settings > Apps and wipe data of:
- PlayStore
- PlayService
- Google Pay (if installed)
• Open PlayStore and wait ~1 min. Then go to settings section and scroll down. There should be: Certified Device.
After this, from Magisk hide all apps that you don't want to detect root permissions and they shouldn't detect it anymore.
How to fix camera crash
Camera crash occurs because of cache optimization that isn't present anymore when you dirty flash and wipe cache/ART. You'll need to recompile it opening a terminal emulator (Termux) and using:

Why GCam doesn't works?
Modded GCams need full RAW support, that is locked on ROM based on Sony Stack (like this). So GCam will simply crash if installed. Anyway there is one version that doesn't use API2 and works almost well, you can download it directly from PlayStore. Obviously it won't support HDR+ (and currently I don't plan to add it, it is far beyond my skills).

But Google camera is working, good enough for me
It is not high customisable but very stable, you wouldn't feel the difference between stock and this ROM

Yeah, Arnova's modded GCam does not work because of lack of raw support.
You can install GCam from PlayStore though. It hasn't HDR+, but photo sphere works.

I updated post #2 and I wrote a brief guide on how to pass safetynet check. Try that

The good: Very stable ROM, almost everything tested seems to be working, stable network signal, the most stable so far. I hope it gets updates at some point. Good work.
Anyone wishing for a close to stock stable Android 10 should try it.
The bad: the stock camera is crashing but that's already said.
It would be great if you could bring Sony sound settings but that is a little harder I think

Thanks for feedback. There is a fix in the second post. Starting from next build it shouldn't crash anymore on clean flash though. Do you have a XZ1 single sim or dual?

Don't know what i'm doing wrong, but after flashing ROM via TWRP, phone reboots to TWRP and Will nota boot to OS.

How to update:
No need to clean flash, you can simply apply the update from TWRP.
Anyway, if weird issues occur, you should clean flash and retry. Soemtimes you need to format /data partition after clean flash to remove completely the encryption.

Are there any special installation instructions to be followed for this ROM? Because I tried installing the official PE 10 months ago and that didn't boot on my device.
Another question would be whether any of the newer Gcam ports works on this ROM.

Nothing special, pretty standard instruction. Just Wipe dalvik/cache/data/system and format data from recovery, reboot in recovery again, flash rom, done. Gapps are included.
No idea about Gcam ports. You can try and report.

You can't get Gcam working on this ROM since it's stock based, Gcam only working full features on SODP, likes the official PE which you need flash OEM file, I'm not a poplar user, the Gcam give really bad results on SODP on my maple and SODP isn't as stable as the stock based, worse performance, if the PE 10 didn't boot on your device months ago, maybe that's the official one and you miss to flash the OEM?

Sony Camera doesn't work yet on Android 11 ROMS for XZ1 afaik.
No, livedisplay is a feature of Lineage and its not supported by PE, but the Plus edition has the color calibration.

PEPlus have more or less the same extra options of Lineage (network monitor, long press for torch etc), PE standard..not. Vanilla.
Magisk 22 perfectly works.

1) Wipe System/Cache/Dalvik Cache/Data, Format Data, Reboot in TWRP, flash rom and magisk if needed, done.
2) AOSP. No idea, i'm not a dev.

You can choose what you prefer. Vanilla don't have gapps, so if you want play store, you have to flash gapps (OpenGapps, Flamegapps etc). Otherwise, the standard version have gapps included.

Anyway great rom, dirty upgraded over last pe plus.

The wait for this ROM was worth it as always! Great work!! Thank you!!!
Clean flash here, no issues.
Google Play certified, Intune work profile setup ok, I'll continue tomorrow and I'll keep you posted if I'll find a something wrong.
So far, I've observed that Skype's Echo didn't catch my voice while the Google Recorder needed to manually choose phone's mic.

If I'm speaking louder then Echo or phone app can hear me but like from meters away.
Anyway, no one else complains about this microphone issue so I'm afraid I'm missing something. Starting everything from scratch, for some reasons Emma says completed flashing a stock ROM but nothings happens, digging around.

You can, but forget double SIM. Btw, im trying to build Dual SIM right now. Should perfectly work the single on dual too, but rip dual sim mode.

I had this error, what i did to fix this is when i flash the rom, after wiping, i format data or format phone. I forgot what the exact words in twrp.

Not rom related question but, i seem to cant boot to recovery on every android 10 or 11 custom roms ive tried i always need to fastboot twrp if i decide to change rom. Is it just me or its really the way it is?

Just you, at least on 10 11. On 12 i've always booted manually with Power+Volume Down.

The one included in the ROM is good. Moreoever, there aren't other compatible kernels with a12 afaik right now.

2.) Would it be possible to use Sony Stock Camera (if I have TA partition backed up)?

1) Yes
2) Yes/no. Sony Stock camera doesn't work on A12 roms. And TA cant be restored on non-stock roms. But you can use this magisk module for stock camera: https://gitlab.com/xperiance/camera/-/releases its a bit limited but it works.
