Mibox 4s MDZ-22-AB can add IR receiver - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

Hi,
As far as I know on mibox 3 has build in IR sensor. I would like to add IR usb receiver to mibox 4s to control it. Currently I've mibox connect to projector but with cec enebled it not always works smooth. Other that when cec enebled projector needs twice to push power button on remote but signal to hdmi projector has same delay and need to wait. So I thought to get some universal remote to control it form one remote not two.
So anyone tried adding usb IR receiver and it works?

[Q] Digital Audio Out? Re-purpose as "Squeezebox Touch"

So just wondering about getting digital audio out from the Gtablet. Is this possible? I have the Squeezebox Player and Squeezebox Commander applications on my tablet and while the sound is OK I was wondering about feeding that audio signal to my home receiver's DAC. Is there a working USB solution? How about taking a HDMI approach and using this monoprice adapter http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10110&cs_id=1011002&p_id=5557&seq=1&format=2 to send the digital signal from the HDMI to my receiver? Anyone have any experience/suggestions?
bumping this. i would like to know also.
Why can't you just connect your HDMI cable directly to your receiver? Is it because you don't have that type of connection on your receiver?
I have tried to get Squeeze Player to work on my TNT-Lite tablet. Everything seems to work except for changing the volume has problems. If you do have this working, can you tell me which image you are using?

I am currently using VEGAn-Tab Ginger Edition. And yes my music receiver/amplifier doesn't have HDMI inputs (in fact it only has either one coax or optical input). I did purchase the HDMI to optical switch but I haven't tried it with the unit stereo set up yet (maybe this weekend ???) as my Logitech Duet is currently plugged into the optical input.
SqueezePlayer coupled with SqueezeCommander are working great for me and I can even control it directly with the Duet remote or PC on my network. As they phase out this device I am going to monitor the pricing and eventually purchase another set as I have another receiver located in the "media room" (basement) that I might occassionally want the ease of the logitech device ... although now that their google tv is allegedly dropping to $99 perhaps that takes a backseat as I have a PC hooked up to that system and I can use that for music.

[Q] Infrared Remote to Control Android

Hi folks,
I bought a USB IR receiver today with the thought of using it to control my MK808B, which is an anroid stick that connects to a TV via HDMI. I had in mind some kind of app that would learn commands from any remote (old TV remote, etc.) and map them to android functions (up, down, enter, vol+, etc.). Does something like this exist? If not, can it be done a different way?
For reference, this is the IR module I bought: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2909658&CatId=2688
Thanks for your advice!

Nexus player works with Toshiba TV IR remote!

I have my Nexus Player connected to a Toshiba 39” TV model 39L1350UC.
Last night I noticed that I was able to navigate the NP's screen using the TV IR remote. I was able to replicate all the NP's remote buttons except for the ‘Home’ button.
I have nothing plugged in the microUSB port in the back by the way.
I even managed to control the NP using my Harmony H659 (which is IR based).
I believe that the Nexus remote uses a Bluetooth connection. Am I missing something here?
Your TV is probably sending the commands through the HDMI port.

It has limited cec function. My TV remote works with my fire tv but functionality is low. I'm able to do some navigation but don't think I was able to select. Eventually I hope all set top boxes catch up with cec. Kodi on my rpi works out of the box with all my TVs.

HDMI-CEC, that must be it. I get all the buttons working except for the voice and home ones.
I actually prefer to use the Harmony in Kodi as the loud clicks of the NP's remote just drive me nuts.

Can I turn my old LG G5 (H840) into an android tv?

So I got a USB-C to HDMI + USB-A and I've downloaded a TV like launcher, it's working great with a Bluetooth mouse and I've also ordered a Bluetooth air mouse from AliExpress (Q5 Bluetooth air mouse).
But I'm afraid it's not enough, I want to connect from my iPhone (or any other phone for that matter) to my G5 tv box and watch youtube videos on it by tapping the cast button. I want to activate and browse through Netflix on my phone than watch on the TV. The phone has the power, and it is Android compatible, all I ask for is the full experience.
So Is there a way to flash Android TV to the G5? If not, is there a way to enable these features in other ways?
I I'm planning to do the same thing as well. But I think someone gonna have to build a custom rom that will allow those features

Multicamera Live Stream Solution (like in OBS)

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S21 device and I am thinking to do my live stream on my phone (with Samsung Dex connected to TV and keyboard mouse combo).
What I used to do with our stream setup is to connect 3 cameras (2 MILC with HDMI > USB capture card, and an action cam - DJI Osmo Action - with RTMP feed), and connect these to OBS studio for multi camera solution. We are streaming live music for our friends. For audio, I have a Zoom F1 recorder which can be also connected to the target device and broadcasting software via USB or 3.5mm jack. This is easy on Windows with OB studio, however not so easy on Android.
I have a multiport adapter with multiple USBs, LAN port and HDMI, and tried to search some app(s) which I could use for streaming and switching between the cameras, but unfortunately I have not succeeded Does anybody know an app, which can handle multiple external cameras at the same time and switching between them? I would be grateful for any tips.
Thanks!
