Installing Custom ROM - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Questions & Answers

I have a t-mobile variant oneplus nord n10. I recently unlocked bootloader and installed pixel experience 12 rom on it, but it was buggy and calling and messaging was not working on it so I flashed stock android. But, now whenever I try to flash another rom, it just will not work. I tried to use adb sideload and it says could not read the zip file, or failed to read command. I tried to install through twrp and orangefox recovery and it says unable to "open block device /dev/block/loop 20 19 18 17. " Any help would be appreciated.

I am also getting a new error saying Total xfer: 0.00x

LeEco Le2 automatically locked OEM while flashing faulty stock ROM

I have a LeEco Le2, Indian version, and I installed a custom ROM (AospExtended with android 8) successfully after following all the recommended procedures like OEM unlock, TWRP flash, backup with TWRP, etc. But due to some cdla issues, i decided to revert back to stock EUI. So when I tried to restore the backup, it failed saying 'cannot mount /system - invalid argument'. So I didn't had any option other than to stay on android 8's ROM. Later I found some stock EUI ROMs available on XDA and other forums (which needed to be installed through stock recovery's update.zip method), so I gave them a try. But most of them failed. Installation completed without giving any error, but the EUI never boots up, it gets stuck at the bootup splash screen and never goes any further even after 2-3 hours. So in my last attempt, I transferred the update.zip file in the root, then flashed stock recovery and installed. Like before, the installation completed without any error messages, but no bootup to EUI. Finally when I tried to flash TWRP to flash custom ROM again, everything failed and I discovered that the bootloader got automatically locked. Now I am stuck and not able to do anything, fastboot oem unlock-go fails saying 'remote: oem unlock is not allowed'. What can I do to either make the EUI work, or unlock the bootloader. ?

Oneplus X - Booting not working

Hello
I would like to migrate my oneplus x from android 6 to oreo 9.
I did all the steps to root my opx and i tried to boot with the correct twrp to let me backup the original img of the phone but I'm freeze at the moment and need your help.
After a lot of tentatives where i got the error "FAILED (remote: dtb not found)" i got the message (with specific image for OOS 3.1.4). OKAY "booting..." but the opx still remain in fastboot mode.
What you can suggest me ?
Thank you

Which tuto did you applied?
The one to boot TWRP without installing it just to copy your data? You copied some from USB, right?
First, you have to verify if bootloader is really unlocked via the command.
Then, which TWRP did you used?

TWRP Image not signed or corrupt Moto G6 Ali

Clarifying in advance that I have the Bootloader unlocked. When installing TWRP using the "Fastboot Flash Recovery (name of twrp)" command, I only get the error message and the recovery is not installed.
I have tried the versions that the same official TWRP page gives me, in versions 3.2.3 / 3.3.0 / 3.3.1 and in none of the cases has the twrp been installed, always getting the same "error" message. I would like to know why this happens and if there is any way to solve it. (Being a noob in this, I ask you to explain it to me in a simple way, please):crying::crying::crying:
Twrp may not be compatible with your phone, try this one in this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g6/how-to/guide-twrp-root-magisk-installation-t3816569

Nord N10 bricked

My Nord N10 5G is now SoftBricked
First I installed TWRP through adb. Then I restarted and everything was fine.
Then I try to flash the lineage os unofficial from the XDA thread. flash was successful but,
It was stucked in the starter animation of lineageos.
I rebooted on twrp and saw that many storage blocks were missing, including internal storage. I try to restore the original firmware but this was unsuccessful.
try to flash aosp official via adb sideload. but there was an error and adb sideload wasn't start correctly.
then via sdcard, flashed aosp os. flash was successful but, there was many storage block missing errors. and again, aosp also stucked.
Has anyone had such an experience? How did you come up with the solution?
Solved
Just factory reset from "Pixel Experience recovery menu" .

Honor 7 custom ROM install issues

Hi all,
I experience some issues installing a custom ROM to my Huawei Honor 7 PLK-L01 phone. Can anyone help me or pointing me in the right direction please?
I'm trying to install a custom ROM, but from the ones I tried to install (DigiROM, H7T, Lineage 13, Lineage 13 v2, Lineage 14, Pure, YodaROM), I only managed to get Lineage 13 and Lineage 13 v2 working on my phone. I was able to install all other ROM's, but after installation and rebooting, the phone got stuck on the "Honor" start-up screen and not continue to boot the ROM afterwards.
(By the way, does someone have the MoDaCo Custom ROM (by paulobrien) available? I want this ROM the most, but the download site has been taken offline )
I'm using TWRP v3.2.1-0, but also tried installations with TWRP v3.1.1-0-plank.
With all installations, I wiped dalvik/cache/data/system and installed the ROM by installing the copied .zip file from my SD card, via TWRP.
(Installation via ADB Sideload is not working. Device is not recognized in ADB, even after installing USB drivers. Fortunately, installing via TWRP works for me.)
My phone is unlocked and root is working fine. The phone version was initially C432B121 (Don't know if this changes with each ROM installation?)
Although LOS13 is able to be installed on my phone, with this ROM, I'm not able to charge my phone... When I try to select the USB configuration mode (via "Select USB configuration" via Developer Options), the settings menu crashes after selecting one, with error message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
When setting up a lock screen security (eg. PIN code to unlock phone), the same error occurs.
Furthermore, the camera is not working, but this would be a known issue for this ROM. Hence, on my phone, the camera is also not working with suggested apps as Footej, Camu, or Cameringo, which should deal with this issue.
Does anyone recognize this? Do I have a sort of admin rights issue? Or do I need to install a matching firmware version for each ROM? Or perhaps another TWRP version?
Right now I have installed Lineage OS 13 Reloaded v2.0 (Android 6.0.1) (by Spirtix & Speedo.thc)
Problem solved! Updating the OTA firmware was my solution (C432B121 to B130, then to B180, then B370).
Thanks to DigiGoon, these files can be downloaded here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=102830
