PixelExperience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation)

Just build rom using kernel and device tree source.
Mi 11 lite 5g Android 13 custom rom is lacking, so I share the rom I built.
This rom will be uploaded irregularly.
Custom roms will be uploaded only when i want to build with updated source.
I'm busy so I can't see the reply.
I just created a thread to show where custom roms are uploaded.
Active feedback is difficult.

Flashing Instructions:-
First Time Install / Clean Flash
- Before proceeding any further, make sure you have downloaded all the files required for successful installation i.e., ROM zip (PixelExperience-*.zip), boot.img, vendor_boot.img, dtbo.img. firmware from the download link above.
Recovery is included in boot.img and vendor_boot.img.
1. Reboot to bootloader (fastboot)
2. Connect your phone to PC
3. fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img
4. fastboot flash vendor_boot_ab vendor_boot.img
5. fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
6. fastboot reboot recovery
7. Select Wipe data/factory reset & confirm
8. Go back and select Apply update from ADB
9. adb sideload PixelExperience*.zip(or drag down the rom zip to cmd)
10. adb sideload firmware*.zip (only if there's a firmware update)
11. After installation complete, Reboot system. Use PE Plus 13!
Update / Dirty Flash
1. Download proper flashable ZIP for your device
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Select Apply update from ADB
4. adb sideload PixelExperience*.zip(or drag down the rom zip to cmd)
5. adb sideload firmware*.zip (only if there's a firmware update)
6. Reboot to System and Use PE Plus 13!

If possible, the development of "vendor_past.zip" to separate the vendor partition and then flash the gsi rom would be more diverse.

boot.img and vendor_boot.img are recovery image.
but you should also flash dtbo.img.
It is on the download page(github release) along with the rom file.
Read and follow the flashing instruction carefully.

Thanks for the speedy response...but I must admit I do not follow. I cannot see a link to the recovery.img like on other roms There is no reference to a recovery.img & I do ot understand when you say "boot.img and vendor_boot.img are recovery image". I have an AB device currently running MIUI Global 13.06 Stable (SKIEUXM) so may be that is the problem?
Do I need miui 13.0.8?

Installed this rom to solve my issue regarding third party launcher and gestures. It worked out great!
I installed it a couple of days ago, but so far I haven't noticed any bugs. Much better than the default MIUI! This phone is a beast, if only Xiaomi had provided the proper software.
My only downside so far is the battery. Had about 2 hours more screen time on MIUI with similar settings + use. If anyone has any experience with this, help would be appreciated.

EDIT: btw, the install was super easy. I was in 13.0.7 EU, and i just followed the guide. Took about 10-15 minutes from the moment I unlocked the phone in MIUI to Pixel boot.

Proximity sensor seems to work fine for me.
