please i need urgent help with my phone, it started about two weeks ago, i was using my phone and all of a sudden my phone just froze and then rebooted itself, i didn't know what to do so i ignored it and continued using my phone as usual, then after two to three days it happened again, i still didn't know what to do so i ignored it for the second time.
now my problem is that last week it happened again but while rebooting it got stuck at dm-verity corruption, your phone is corrupted and can not be trusted, i tried all i could to reboot it but it's not working,
i did some search on google to know what to do, i found this article on google but after trying it i found out that my device bootloader was locked and i can not unlock it except if the oem unlock toggle is on in the developer option in the phone. then i did some more research and found another article after downloading all the software required, i tried it but sp flash tool keeps saying ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (0xC0060001).
i tried using wipe factory setting via recovery menu but it reboots and shows dm-verity error anytime i click it, please i need help.

Good night everybody! my dad got this phone a while ago, after like 2 months he told me the phone was going crazy, I checked and was getting FC´s everywhere so get into recovery mode to wipe everything and there´s where problems started. I downloaded stock firmware and installed it but phone wouldn´t boot up, so my dad gave it to a guy that ``fixed it´´ but the problem came back after two weeks or so, the guy ´´fix it ´´ again but when I looked into the phone had no IMEI so didn´t recognized the sim card, the third time the guy got back the IMEI, that was long ago and today when I booted up the phone is having a weird behavior, sometimes gets stucked at the bootloader unlock warning, I restart it and after a couple of times starts the boot up animation but gets stucked at the M and like waving part.
I´ve tried getting into recovery mode but when I press any of those options boots to the warning bootloader. I got it to completley turn on when I pressed the recovery option; not expecting that to happened, but again some force close windows and decided to reboot it to see if would fix it but again to the same place stuck at the warning.
I´ve read many posts here im xda and outside but can´t find a solution. I tried to side load the firmware but looks like the pc doesnt recognize the phone´, when i got it boot up I connected it to the pc but didn´t recognized it, I installed the drivers and still the same.
Guess I need to get it recognized by the pc in order to try to side load a firmware. Sorry for the long post and any mistake, if someone can help to bring back to life this little fella.
Hi im hoping someone can help me, in an attempt to root my swift 2 i flashed twrp ensuring to use the correct version from the website. after not being able to find the Supersu zip file properly i attempted to restart the phone to locate it on the memory card, it was at this point i got the first warning of 'your device software cant be checked for corruption, please lock the boot loader' after that i get the dm-verity error and then the first wileyfox powered by android screen pops up and freezes there indefinitely. occasionally the second orange wileyfox logo will load but then that will freeze too!
please help its a brand new phone and im nearly crying over this!!!

Have a look at the first post Section 3 on that post should help you
mostly the part related to
adb reboot "dm-verity enforcing"
Flash stock recovery and only boot TWRP don't flash it
Thanks for the reply. Almost straight after posting I found a download for nougat 7.1.1 and flashed that, then updated it to the latest via OTA. I still get the verity warning occasionally and the phone seems laggier than before plus it reboots itself occasionally but at least it still works! No root but I may have another go at a later date.
Hello,
My phone ran out of battery a few hours ago. I charged it, but when it boots it gets stuck at the htc logo. The same thing happened to me a few months ago, but after restarting it 2 or 3 times it booted just fine. This time though, it won't get pasted it no matter how many times I reboot it. After trying all the tricks that I found on google, I resorted to do a factory reset. I should have never done that, it didn't fix anything but it did turn off usb debugging by disabling developer mode. So it essentially made sure that I can't fix it anymore. I can't do anything from my pc because my bootloader is locked and I need developer mode enabled to unlock it with fastboot. In recovery mode I get a red triangle with an exclamation mark but I can get to the options to update via sd card. For a second I thought that I found a way to reinstall the rom via the sd but of course they had to make sure that it doesn't work because the zip failed the signature authentication and the signature authentication can't be disabled with a locked bootloader.
So is there anything that I could try or has HTC made my phone so secure that I actually have to buy a new one instead of being able to fix it?
Any advise is more than welcome because right now my phone is really close to meet my friend the hammer.
Thank you
Hello, I bought a used mi9t and knowing that it had a boot problem (this is what the seller wrote in the sale description) and naively believed that I would be repaired easily as I had already done before.
the mi9t starts but freezes after + - 5 sec and reboot and so on, so I do not have time to do a reset, activate develop mode, unlock the bootloader etc ...
I arrived started in recovery and or in fastboot, a wipe data does not change anything, I of course tried to flash via miflash and miflash pro etc ... but as the bootloader is locked, develop mode not active etc ... nothing did not work. I managed to flash once in recovery, assistant mi but it did not change anything although the attempt arrived at 100%, I tried this method again but it does not want to do it anymore.
it is in miu in V11.0.5.0.QFJEUXM so I tried with the following but without result.
Looks like Android isn't complete, I think the person who sold it to me missed the Flash.
there I do not know what to do, I looked everywhere on the net for a solution but found nothing so as a last chance, I post here and elsewhere while crossing my fingers.
thanks in advance
I tried all these rom but without result
and via miflash I have the error anti rollback check error
error sorry
Try china newest rom with fastboot
I have a pixel 6a that I successfully rooted but when I tried to unroot it something went wrong. When I restarted the phone I got a message saying
Your device is corrupt. It can’t be trusted and may not work properly.” then it was stuck on the Google logo. I managed to get it unstuck but then when it restarted I got the error message again and it shut off. Now the phone will not turn on at all. I tried charging it for hours. I tried forcing it to turn on with every ossible button configuration I could think of. It is completely unresponsive. Please help. I literally just reviewed it from Google Fi a week ago

Are you on A13?
Did you have, at the minimum, the A13 bootloader on both slots?
What method did you use to uninstall Magisk?
What happens when you connect phone to computer?
Will Android Flash Tool recognize it? If so, use that to flash back to stock.
Try holding the power button down for at least 30 seconds?
If you were on A13 and didn't have the A13 bootloader on both slots, when bootlooping your phone may have reverted to the A12 slot. If so, your device may be a brick due to the new ARB and you should probably RMA it.
Yes it was A13. And nothing happens when I connect it to my laptop. And I'm not sure what you mean by "both slots". My apologies... This is my very first time rooting and trying to unroot a device
I am also using Linux. So I don't really know what other tools I could or should try other than sdk platform tools.

Did you do this after updating to A13?
It's a hard brick as per the link in the above post.
But why root, then unroot?
What steps did you take?
It would be helpful to others to find out where you went wrong.

Why not post this in Pixel 6a forum?
@Cheesymatt661 Okay so you have unlocked bootaloder + fastboot is working right? One of my friend also faced this and what he did was flashed latest (A13) factory images to both A & B slots separately and that's it. It was simple as that for him.
