Which version you are having ? Which region ?
Are your in B380 andlooking for rollback ? (or) looking to update to B380 ?
You said that both are failing. So in which build you are in ?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/help/bricked-formated-honor-7-rom-t3480339/page2
Did you try that method?

Roll back package will be 20 to 100kb which has OEM specific files. It will recent the version info and allows to flash any build on the top of the current one ..

Yes? The rollback package is for rolling back from marshmallow to Lollipop, i think the way to do it is by rollback and u end up in b300 then whatever full version u want.. maybe b180 i heard people like that one

Which ROM currently installed

Hi,
got my new x829 a few week ago, and I'm wondering if I should do an update, but since people talk about indian stock , chinese, etc...
The first think I would need to know is what ROM I currently have !?!?
In "About phone" it just says : EUI version 5.8.016S .
But is this chinese? Indian?
I'm quiet pleased with the current ROM, just maybe the camera soft is not as good as I expect, hope to improve it by updating.
What would be the natural succession of the ROM I have?
Thanks,
Grey
the same I had it is vendor rom it is not official , then i flashed EUI version 5.8.016S Indian rom
If u have x829 in "about phone" so u have USA ROM version, if x820 - chinese or if x821 - indian
Yes it says x829 in "about". There are no updates available for this USA version?
Can one update to chines or indian ROM with normal update procedure (copy zip to internal storage, then update) ? Some threads appear to talk about the need to use TWRP, which is confusing.
Thanks,
Grey

You can if you have the updater app installed and can see it in settings. Mine did not have it so had to install twrp as it failed to install in recovery on rom it came with.
Thanks for the reply.
Indeed have no "update" option in settings menu. Thought update has to be done from booting in recovery, but from what you say that fails, correct?
Does any TWRP serve? Saw some thread that appears to indicate you need a specific flavour ?!

i messed up. im stuck on fastboot (bootloader) mode. everytime i choose recovery mode or start, it vibrates and restarts 4 or 5 times only upto the S logo, before going back to fastboot mode again.
"fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-blackshark.img" didnt work for me. it just starts my phone normally. so i tried "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-0-blackshark.img" and got error.
need help pls.
edit: im still reading the whole thread and learning of flashing my bs from skr-a0 to skr-h0. i hope ill succeed from the files and procedures im getting at this link: youtube.com/watch?v=ywC_9Hrpb_I
edit2: was successful in flashing to skr-h0 using flash_all.bat (not brick anymore yay! it gave me the chills really.) sending "fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-blackshark.img" command also now loads me to twrp (thank heavens) but i need to system update OTA first before trying to root again. will update soon.
edit3: now enjoying root on android 8.1... found the hard way that twrp-3.2.3-0-blackshark.img is not for android 9 and wont boot to twrp. probably flashed back to 8.1 for like 5 times more or less. hope maurino or someone else will make and release twrp-3.2.3-1-blackshark.img soon. thanks again for this wonderful thread.
btw: i originally wanted skr-a0 but i cant seem to download the link in the youtube video. file is corrupted. is it just me? i tried on 3 different workstations to no avail.

I haven't had any issues with the pie update. TWRP currently doesn't work, but the source files on GitHub have been updated I believe. TWRP needs to be available for rooting.

Official EU ROM - RMX2170_11_C.30

Hi,
would anyone please advise me where to get the official ROM (EU) for Realme 7 Pro version RMX2170_11_C.30 or RMX2170_11_C.28, RMX2170_11_C.25. I have RMX2170_11_A.23, where there is only Android 10 and I do not even get updates to a newer version.
Thank you for the advice

If you installed the European ROM (ro.product.name = RMX3301EEA) you have to use the European package. If, however, you installed the global ROM, this package will still not work unfortunately, because even if it's called IN (India, or global model), it is intended for the Russian model (RMX3301RU). Probably Realme didn't notice the mistake because there's no official release of DP2 for the Indian model.

I have the global rom installed. I might be willing to install the European rom provided it will install on my Chinese model. Otherwise I guess I have to wait.

You should be able to install it without any problem. Here's the link to the latest version. I think you can install the OFP file directly with this tool.

I think it's a false positive, but if you don't trust it, you can always do it manually.

First you have to extract the OFP file with an appropriate tool. There are multiple available online.
Then use simg2img to merge the appropriate super images (check super_map.csv, first row, EUEX), then follow the steps you already followed to install the global ROM to flash all the images.
As an example, for A.17 the appropriate command is:
Code:
simg2img super.0.e4a08b63.img super.1.f38881aa.img super.2.73b37b21.img super.img
I haven't been successful. I will think about this some more.
Still no luck as of yet.
