Hello,
I have several friends with umidigi and other low end android phones. It's a shame that Umidigi does a horrible job at offering the latest version of android and security updates. Anyway I was wondering if there's a custom rom that would get me android 13? I understand it's a generic Unisoc based phone.
Any tutorial and direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I'm considering building a new Custom ROM for my Teclast X98 Plus tablet to get new features and security updates.
However I've never done that before, but as there are other Custom ROMs I think it must be possible somehow
The Android version of the original firmware is 5.1, also Mireks ROM for the tablet is based on that and also the available Remix OS 2.0 I guess.
My question is: Do you think it is possible to build a mostly working ROM based on a newer version like Marshmallow, Nougat or even Oreo?
And is it possible to extract the proprietary blobs and drivers from an existing ROM and get them working on the newer Android?
I've seen that on other devices, but I don't know where they got the blobs and other stuff needed.
Any input would be appreciated
i bought Lenovo Tab 7 Essential TB-7304I - 1GB RAM with Android 7.0 (Nougat) pre-installed. the device is too slow and i believe that the 1GB ram cannot handle Android 7.0 at all!
i searched for lower Android version (6 or even 5) to install it on this device with no success.
maybe becuase i'm not familiar with Android anyone can help me finding Android 6.x or Android 5.x that can be installed on Lenovo Tab 7 Essential TB-7304I. Or the available CUSTOM ROM if any also i would appreciate if you can suggest a page for the downgrading steps
Anyone can help!!!
No one can help me with this issue??

Have you unlocked bootloader and installed custom recovery?
There are no custom roms for this device. Even 4pda has nothing and this tablet is popular amongst the Russians due to the price.
Hi everyone, I'm wondering what specs a smartphone needs to run Android 10. I got a 2015 smartphone (Umi Iron Pro), can I flash a ROM based on Android 10?

A ROM has to be compiled for your device and its specs. You can't flash any ROM as you wish. Search if any are available.
I know that but my question was different. I'm sorry for my english but if I compile a ROM based on android 10 for my phone, would it run on that phone, who is from 2015?
I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 with non-original screen and after updating it to android Pie it's touchscreen stopped working, after going through a complicated process i managed to downgrade it. I have another device; Samsung A10 with non original screen. As android 10 is already available on A10, i'm afraid to upgrade it because of my past experience. Anyone hear who is using fake/non-original screen and have upgraded to pie?

You can upgrade it to Android 10.
In case, your touchscreen doesn't work, you can downgrade to android 9 on A10 via odin mode.

For A10, android 10 and android 9 use the same binary version, which is version 3.
Therefore, you can downgrade to the latest release of android 9.
The binary version can be obtained from the bootloader's filename found in stock firmware.
The bootloader's filename general format is as follows: BL_A105XXXU3XXXX
U3 is the binary version.
You can compare before you try to flash
Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 7E, it came installed with Android 9. Today I wanted to update to Android 10, using the ROMs on the Ulefone Website (Links to a Google Drive).
I found a Warning Message that you should not use the ROM to update your phone ("★Warning★: if your phone is Android 9,you are forbidden to flash Android 10,otherwise your phone must be bricked!!! vice versa
").
So they sell a version of the phone with Android 9 and one with Android 10. I bought my phone (Android 9) this year around april.
Has anyone updated the phone to Android 10, or do you brick your phone if you try to update it?
Thank you in advance,
deecon

Switching from Adroid 9 to Android 10 isn't an update but an upgrade.
You may consider flashing a Custom ROM based on Adroid 10.
