SGP321 - how to display PIN code of SIM card? - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
my mother has been using SGP321 since 2014.
The device has a SIM card to connect to internet.
The PIN code is stored somewhere in the memory of the tablet and is already forgotten by us.
Is there a tool/app that could display the PIN code of the SIM card?
Please help, my mother (and I) would be grateful
We need to transfer the SIM card to another tablet (also SGP321 - brand new, old stock) because the old one is failing
(problems with charging battery - replacing battery and charging port did not help).
Involving the GSM operator to send a new SIM card may take many days where I live, especially now before Christmas
and surfing Youtube is currently the main pasttime of my ill mom.
thank you for help!

i have a tmobile pocket pc phone edition
and i have a motorola phone
but just 1 sim card. i can get another sim card for free (friend of mine works for tmobile). im wondering if there is a way to copy my sim card in my pocket pc and write it to a new card
my goal is, if i go out to dinner, to a club / bar, etc... i dont wanna carry the pda with me. yes i can just swap the card, but id rather each phone have thier own
is there a program for the pocket pc phone to copy the sim card and write a new one or some kind of device to do this ?
i know direct tv uses a smart card, which technically is what the sim card is. i was thinking maybe i can use a card programmer for direct tv, copy my good sim card and write it back to the new one.
any ideas ?

I understand it is possible to do this, however I bought the hardware and software to do so and have destroyed 2 sim cards so far and failed to copy any sim from UK service providers. This includes Orange, T- Mobile, Virgin, Vodafone and O2. I got in touch with the makers and they tell me that all these providers use V2 type cards therefore wont copy. I cannot vouch for other parts of the world. If anybody in UK has succesfully cloned a sim other than from an old Orange sim (3 years old at least) then I would be happy to hear from them. The hardware I bought allows 16 sims on one supersim, including phone book, sms etc. The sims can be switched on via a menu on the phone without switching off or resetting the phone, it will be great when the software finally gets to the stage where it works on UK sims.
Clone sim card
Mr. cruisin-thru , can u tell us where did u but the clonned Equipment and how much it cost u. and if there different types which one u advice us to buy.

"Cannot connect for an unknown reason" with every ROM I tried

I bought a used Orange UK TG01, unlocked it with an unlock code, then flashed some cooked ROMs. Voice calls work perfectly, but a "Cannot connect for an unknown reason" comes out immediately when I use anything that needs a data connection. This even happens with a stock Hong Kong WM6.5 ROM.
Is my TG01 defective? I flash ROMs with SDDL+ and my microSD card is a Transcend 8GB microSDHC Class 6. The only things I haven't tried yet is using a microSD (<2GB) card and using the pin shorting method to flash ROMs instead of using SDDL+.
I'm in Hong Kong and my mobile operator is PCCW 3G. All connection settings are correct. The same settings and SIM card work with my HTC TyTN II.
Try this....
Change your sim card with your friends or your wife's. I am thinking that your phone company is the problem. I had the exact same problem with my phone here in Japan. Said something just like your message. So I swapped the sim card with the sim card in my wife's phone and boom... my phone worked perfectly. I had to call my phone company over and over and over again, then they said that they will "refresh" my phone account and it took three days. So... just try a different sim in your phone, the problem you are describing is EXACTLY the same as I experienced. No data connection, but SMS(I think.. I am not sure, it happened to me three years ago) and phone works fine.
Check it out, tell me what happened when you swap sim cards?
-Kilihari.
Luckily my operator happens to be carrying out some network upgrades which requires me to get a new SIM card from them, no phone calls needed.
I got my new 64K SIM card and bam, everything works perfectly now! The chip on the SIM card is smaller than my previous SIM card.

[Q] I need Help With Mi x10

How about!
I need help to fix this problem on mi x10. Please
Here goes:
I don't know why but. I turned it off one night and the next day not started, it load the system and when the unlock screen appears it get stuck and reboot.
I tried several things, a wipe privacy menu, turn it on without memory
and nothing, i updated it from 2.1 to 2.3.3 and nothing, it's the same problem.
I noticed that, when I remove my SIM card Telcel, starts normal and not stuck, I put one of another provider and turned on the phone the sim-unlock code screen apears, i tap cancel and the phone was normal function.
I tried 2 chips of the same company (telcel) and it's the same for the 2 sim cards. The other is a Iusacell GSM Simcard.
It's software or hardware problem?
I hope it's not the logic board, could it be the Sim Reader? The antena?
I hope you can help me,
I thank you in advance.
Greetings.

If it works with other SIM cards, then it's sim card problem.

[Q] Galaxy tab damages SIM card!!!

I used my tablet (Galaxy tab 10.1 P7500) with wifi only for almost 1 year. Recently I bought a SIM card (regular, not mini SIM) for using 3G with my tablet. It worked for about 10 days and then stopped working. Surprisingly, when I took the SIM out and tried to use with a phone, the SIM failed to register with the network! My operator told me that the SIM has been probably damaged and replaced it with another. In another 10 days I am facing the same problem again!
I wish to make these clear:
- I inserted the SIM properly into the tablet as per the instructions. I had not removed it thereafter. So, there is no probability of damage.
- In both the instances, the SIM looked perfectly all right. Not even a scratch!
- My operator swears that the problem is with the tablet and it does something to the SIM and makes it non-functional.
My questions:
1) What is the possible reason behind this?
2) Can the tablet work with a regular SIM?
3) Can the tablet damage a regular SIM with 10 days of use?
4) Should I use a micro SIM?
5) Will the problem recur with a micro SIM?
Any help will be highly appreciated! Thanks!
what I did when got the same problem

1)dust or movement of the card
You can use only the same size of sim as you had, the size doesn't matter, it just need to "seat" right
Try: buy a fresh new eraser for the old school pencils and gently clean the SIM card - only a new eraser so you won't damage it, don't push too hard, this way you remove any small parts on it that could block it.
Eject your SIM card only when the system is shut down. and restore it in shutdown mode again.
Be sure you turn your wifi off before shuting down so you could initialize the sim at boot and see if you got conection.
Good Luck.

LG G3 accepts only one SIM card

Hey everyone,
I am an owner of a G3 but I switched my mobile service provider recently. When the new SIM card arrived I switched them but my G3 did not accept / see the new SIM card and there was no possibility to type in my PIN. I ordered a new SIM but the problem remained with the new SIM card. So I tried a lot of other (working) SIM cards from different other service providers but also no luck. So I thought maybe the phone has SIM lock and I tried another SIM card from my old provider but it also did not work.
The weird thing is that when I put in my old SIM card the phone appears to be accepting the SIM card. The PIN prompt appears normally, I can type it in, the phone accepts. There is just no reception which is normal because I switched the service provider. I also tried a factory reset, also no luck. The phone was rooted but I unrooted and resetted it. Is it possible that I broke something because of root?
Other than this problem the phone works perfectly. Has someone an idea or some experience with a similar issue and knows if it is possible that a phone accepts only one SIM card?
I have no idea what the cause of the problem could be and I am really running out of ideas ...
I would be very thankful for any ideas or suggestions!
Thanks,
Patrick
Or did maybe someone have a similar experience with a different phone?
Thanks!

Hi again,
I tried some more things but still nothing helped.
The things I tried were:
- unrooting the phone and factory reset
- reflash radios
- try completely diffrent rom (CM)
Still I have no idea what the cause could be. Maybe the sim card reader is just broken. Just weird that it reads my deactivated sim card.
I would really appreciate it if someone has an idea or some similar experience..
Thanks!
