Does this rom have Quick Unlock feature? If not, please include the option in the next update.
Also, if this rom comes with some pre-installed camera, can I disable it?
I have been on this ROM for about a week and it has been really good. It has that scrolling/inertia bug that affects certain apps (Skype, fore mostly on my end) and that's about it. Is there a way to fix this scroll issue?

Yes we do have Quick Unlock, you can find it in Settings > Security > Press the Gear Icon next to "Screen lock".
We ship "Camera Go" by default. By disabling the "pre-installed camera" if you meant to ask if you can uninstall Camera Go, no, you cannot. You can however use "Miui Camera" modules (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/useful-mods-for-custom-roms-mojito.4494371/)

If i can't uninstall it, then can I atleast disable it if I use Gcam? I'd like to hide it from my app drawer.

To describe better, on initial app launch, you can scroll fine on the main chat/gc list. after opening a conversation then going back to the chats/gc list, the scroll works but it loses the inertia effect entirely. I hope this helps. Thanks!
Good morning, I have a problem , I come from pixel experience, I had no problem Until version 13, which I decided to go to pixel os, All good, except for the duration of the Cell phone battery and fast charging, It only works with the screen on, If the screen is on, charge slowly, If the screen is off, load fast, I already updated the firmware and everything is updated, thank you!
also, the battery is not lasting long, it drains fast

Regarding the battery life, you could always switch to battery-saver KProfiles and try it out.

There have been changes related to this and I do not experience this issue on my test versions. I would expect this to be fixed in the next version.
Hello!
I have a huge problem with the A13 builds: when I first boot my phone, everything works nicely. Then, I update the Google services and whatnot and eventually, I lose all network/4G connectivity. WiFi still works fine, though. When I reboot my phone, I get 4G connectivity for a few seconds (so that I get a few notifications from my messaging apps and stuff) and then it disappears again.
I had this problem a few months ago with an earlier A13 build and I solved it... by reverting back to the A12 build.
I figured, now that progress has been made on the development of the A13 branch, why not try it again? Well... The problem is still there.
What drives me nuts is I seem to be the only person on Earth to have this problem, nobody reported it in this thread and I've tried to maybe find something similar for a different phone / ROM... to no avail.
Any idea what might be causing that?
Thanks!
EDIT: never mind, I've found the answer. It's my visual voicemail app. It's probably not compatible with A13 (hasn't been updated in a while, I think) and it instantly breaks the connection as soon as it's installed. Uninstalling the app solved the problem right away.
I highly don't recommend this ROM, I am getting huge battery drain, bad performance and bad cellulars...
Help, my phone randomly started bootlooping today. Been using the rom without any issues since November, today morning it started to bootloop out of nowhere

No, haven't done anything. I tried flashing stock rom using mi flash tool and it's still bootlooping. I can use the screen for about 3 seconds before it stops responding and then reboots itself

Did you perform a clean flash? Since release, this ROM has been a delight for me. I even use 2 sims on it and have both my personal and work profiles set to performance in Kprofiles without battery issues.

Thanks for your hard work and bringing it to potter.
Amazing rom with snappy performance and least battery drain , Fp is fastest on this rom .
Gonna be my daily driver
Nice rom
Can some one tell me how I can turn off the option for "double tap on home for camera"?
The last time I tried flashing this (doing a clean wipe and install), it asked me for a password? What's the password please?

First of all, thanks for bringing up this ROM. It is very fluid, fast and responsive. It has also basic tweaks that I need.
However I have met some issues which forced me to restore my backup:
- I can't play music from my SD card, Phonograph can't see it (even after pointing to right folder and rescan) or can't play it (it displays message or even hangs after some tries),
- alarm only vibrates with no sound (yes, I have set default ringtone in settings),
- sometimes notifications layout is messed up,
- navigation bar turns on after reboot and I need to go to settings and do off/on to hide it,
- finally CPU frequency is always at max; not a bug actually as scheduler is set to 'performance' but I don't know if it is the way to minimize battery drain.
I don't know if it is only me or anyone else has these issues? Anyway if they will be resolved I come back to this ROM.

Ok, great, thanks in advance for help.
So, currently I am on stock rom debloated... Should I flash some other pie rom first to remove the encryption and then flash this rom?
I am using the 2 gb variant of the Moto G5 plus. I don't have the cpu error. Personally, I don't use an sd card, so I won't be having any issues there. I have the nav bar error (comes back after a reboot). The only major issue (I don't really consider the nav bar problem major as its more of an inconvenience for when I boot my phone) is when trying yobwatch YouTube videos on the YouTube app, the video shows the loading circle but never begins playback. It worse when I tried it last night with each video loading almost as fast as I clicked them. I had Extended kernel flashed but thought that would solve my issue. I flashed the latest optimus drunk potter and still experienced the issues. If you could fix YouTube that would be great.

Currently using Pico Gapps. I think it is because I did a semi clean rom, as I wiped my android version but did not wipe my internal storage. I found that its not just this rom but Gzosp and Asop extended. I am going to wipe my phone and reinstall Baikal os. I think I solved it.

Same request.
Otherwise, I got another question,
I tried at least 5 pie rom, and all have a huge battery drain on my phone (all network off and no process, 25% waste on the night). I wiped yesterday and re installed an oreo rom a magically, no battery drain (1 % on a night with all network off) ...
So I don't know if I was very unlucky or if I missed something, but pie is a huge battery drain for me.
Here's my question. With all network off and doing nothing, how much battery your rom will use on a full night?
Thanks

Nice work.. is this rom built on top of PixelExperience or PixelExtended ?
NFC bus card recharge error occurred, can you solve it?
Great work!! Super smooth UI.
The only thing I wish you could add would be Smart Charging.
It really helps keep my battery anxiety in check.
Gonna follow the development closely!
2 times now, in 24 hours when the phone would not respond to input except if I keep pressing power button for the power menu to show, but that menu does not open settings or anything else. Had to restart the phone to use it
EDIT: happened a third time, it seems to be unusable to me...
Really Loving this rom, I only have a question.
Why does it not say and feel like the phone is dash charging or is it just me?
Don't get me wrong here, it charges fine but I feel like the charging speed is somehow slower than what I got from Pixel Extended rom.

Use lazy kernel. Default kernel is causing problems for a limited no of users.
Very good rom! It boots fast and it's very smooth. The only thing I would like to have is the google voice match. Is it possible to get/fix?
Keep up the good work!
Great rom, can I suggest a rotation control? like 180 rotation. Thanks
Edit: Can you separate Ring and notification volume?
This ROM is so underrated ! Super smooth fast AF experience while being perfect for the battery too! Maitreya is a genius !
This for all OnePlus 5t devices whether it is global or indian variant?
Hey guess does gcam 8.0 front camera work for this rom as yet?
Thank you very much ! Just one thing, since i installed you're OS, i don't have a lot of battery left. After 7 hours, my 5T shutting down

Hi,
When you say fixed on which build is this?
Could you please tell me why one build is twice as large as the latest one here? I have not installed the build yet but kind of curious.. Not in a country right now where changing Android builds is easy.
I would really like to try a signed build of Android, Unfortunately Lineage is not which gives me a headache between each update. I wish they did...

Usually zips with about 700 - 800mb are vanilla builds (no Gapps included). Zips with more than 1GB have Gapps included.

Hey, i have it flashed and it works fine so far. Only problem i have is the proximity sensor acting up.
With sensor test app it works but if i do call or listen to voice message in messenger apps it doesn't black out screen and doesn't change to earpiece
Edit: oh i just remember that had Xiaomi.eu weekly. Will flash stable og firmware and try again
Edit 2:. Yes that was indeed the problem. Thanks for the rom
New build is up, with buildin anxcamera. Both vanilla and gms build.
Hi! I'm coming from another rom and want to flash this one. I was wondering would I need to go back to miui and then flash or could I just flash it over the one im on now?
It depends on which rom you came from, if it's lineage or PE, then you don't need to go back to emui. In fact, just make sure your fw is V13.0.4.0.SKMCNXM

Hi!
I love the rom configuration options are great and it's generally very smooth, thank you for your work!
But...
I have some problems with the camera - opening the camera app or using the camera in any other apps often causes the whole system to freeze. Sometimes it's just a few seconds delay but sometimes it also needs a reboot to come back to life. Do you have similar behavior? Anything I can do about that?

I love the rom configuration options are great and it's generally very smooth, thank you for your work!
But...
I have some problems with the camera - opening the camera app or using the camera in any other apps often causes the whole system to freeze. Sometimes it's just a few seconds delay but sometimes it also needs a reboot to come back to life. Do you have similar behavior? Anything I can do about that?

It's true that anxcamera doesn't open fast, but in my case it doesn't have any bad effects, I have gcam installed at the same time and it's fine, just don't have 108m pixels. As for what you said about the camera causing the system freeze I have not encountered it, can you say what app it is?
For example NextBike app - you have to scan the QR code to rent a bike and it freezes when the camera is loading. Very annoying.
New builds are up:
June security patch
Change Kernel to inkypen's repo, upstreamed to 5.4.197 and latest lahaina CAF tag
Very Nice job but alarm doesn't work when I shut down the phone, sometimes the apn freeze.
Hi there first of all thanks for the rom this is the one I use to use with my other phones so I'm really happy with it.
But I have a problem. Android auto doesnt work and crash at startup when setting up with the car. Here are logs. Hope you can do something.
Thank you!
Here should be a better one. I did the crash twice in this one.
Looks like there is something wrong with permissions
Got it working by flashing non gms rom then basic NikGapps then android auto add on.
Freeze time to time but it works.
Must be something with your gapps integration.
Edit : made a simple kill AA app button on my home screen with tasker when android auto won't load. Maybe some other gapps can fix this tho.

PixelOS is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, themed icons, google sans fonts, Monet color based system wide theming, boot animation), a fork of OG Pixel Experience with improvements on the top of it. Huge respect to Pixel Experience team for their work, thanks to them for making this ROM possible.
In short a fully functional Pixel Experience with just the right amount of essentials.

Awesome! Previously on PE+ but it suddenly has a high battery drain, so switch to this to have similar experience. So far so good!
My only feedback is double tap to sleep doesn't seem to work, also I'm missing slide status bar to adjust brightness.
Thanks OP!
New HotFix Update Up!

Changelog:
- Revert A12 Blobs in dt (Didn't broke anything but to make sure)
- Fixed Status bar too above
Notes:
- Fw 12.5.3.0 global
I have been using this for two days now and honestly this the most polished Pixel rom I've seen for this phone. Battery life is much better than PE+ and no bugs anywhere to be found. Great job, hope it doesn't get abandoned.

I am not sure what features this ROM has that other Pixel-style ROMs don't. I think, maybe, the answer is none? However, it is very stable, and battery life seems a lot better than what I got with Pixel Experience.
I'll probably try some others too, but will come back to this given how stable and efficient it seems. Are there any killer features of this ROM that I'm missing? Also, are there plans to make this official, so that it can get updates through OTA?
No mobile data connection, like PixelPlusUI. Don't understand it, in Pixel experince worked...

Solved thx.
But I have another problem. Reboot takes forever and system starts UI crash. But if I tap next to the message, or push back button, the message disappear and system works.
Now I have data connection, but I can't call, and nobody can call me.... If I delete APN settings no call, no data connection.... Very good.
Can the search bar in the homescreen be removed?
Best rom ever in my k30 pro zoom.
Thanks!!!
Hello, thank you for your efforts. I want to raise a question. It seems that Unicom SIM card can not be used normally. I have tried many APNs, but I can't dial and answer them. I can surf the Internet normally
(I use translation software. Maybe you don't understand it.)
Still using this ROM, waiting patiently for the next update!
I think my only gripe is somehow on some game (eg. Brawl Stars) it lag sometimes. But COD runs smooth. I notice some jitter here and there, but overall seems smooth.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub organization. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Compatibility notes:
You MUST be on Android 9 stock ROM before flashing this. (Most of you are on it already anyway.)
This ROM is entirely untested on the SM-T385.
Based on previous projects floating around on this forum, the ROM can be flashed but will not have cellular support.
I will NOT add cellular support to this ROM. I only have the Wi-Fi only tablet, and that is all I am going to work with.
Boot can take about a minute because Samsh*t's camera blobs are rather unstable and it takes it a minute to load up.
Things that do not work at the moment:
Offline charging is unsupported at the moment. Will be fixed soon, but for now don't bother with charging while powered off.
Reboot to recovery is totally broken. I have no idea why this is. It's being looked into.
Adoptable storage is not working.
Instructions:
Update to the latest version of Android 9 for this tablet. It doesn't matter how you do it, be it system updater or with Odin. Just get it on the latest version.
Install a custom recovery of any sort.
TWRP exists here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/3747564/
LineageOS recovery coming soon
Format the data partition. That is, on TWRP, the Format Data option (not to be confused with Wipe data)
Install the ROM like you would anything else in TWRP.
Do NOT enable "Update Lineage Recovery alongside the OS" for now.

Changelog:
20230310:
- Initial, rather broken release
- Things are ok-ish, it's selinux enforcing and all
20230408:
- Fixed sensors. Rotation working.
- Removed auto-brightness. Apparently this tablet just straight up does not have auto-brightness sensor, so I cannot support it.
- LineageOS recovery works.
reserved:tm:
Thank you!
- N3RDP0RT4L
Current Issues:
1. No functional SD support. The format menu shows, but after formatting the OS will not read the card when inserted.
2. Auto brightness does not work even when it is turned on.
3. Rotation support for any UI menu doesn't work out of the box.
Note:
NTFS is supported out of the box, when tested on a USB HDD reader on a dock.
Updater process ended with ERROR: 255 when installing .zip
... I just used Google better ... let me see. I'm relatively new at this, but I was able to build.
Thank you so much for your work! I've had this device for years and I haven't seen a single custom ROM for the T380 until now. I'm excited to watch this project evolve.
I'm surprised no one has tried Austin's. "ishitos" it's a really nice debloated stock ROM. It installed for Austin.
Anyone on stock know whether adb reboot recovery actually works there?

Confirmed it works.
Thanks for this! I was literally going to post for sale the day you posted and just did a quick search and found it.
Installed over the weekend. Looks like almost everything works... BUT I'm getting a DRM issue and no video plays (Youtube, Newpipe, Freetube, Reddit video, etc...). Going to try reinstalling. LMK if there is a setting or something you think I'm missing that causes the issue.

You could of used Austin's stock ROM edit; "iShitOS". It's really fast.

....this is post is for discussing LineageOS on the T380, the developer intends to improve it. It's really weird that you keep telling people to use a different ROM instead, kinda disrespectful towards the dev tbh.

I'd recommend it when the ROM is unstable, and incomplete. I know the Dev.
I recommend having a failsafe incase something is up with the ROM as well. I'm very glad to have lineageos available on the device.
While I agree that this ROM kind of isn't in the best shape, I do think that you should keep iSh*tOS to its own forum thread, or make one if it does not exist. If people need some other ROM they can find it themselves.
Sorry, I haven't worked on this tablet in a hot moment, a lot of other things got busy, I got sick and the moment I recovered I have two exams and an interview back-to-back. That being said, a number of things are fixed, notably the sensor drivers. Adoptable storage is an easy fix that I just haven't tested yet, but the real problem is the recovery reboot shenanigan, I suppose.
Ok
iSh1tOS is my project yes and it can be found in my rooting guide/treads. This thread is only for lineageOS 18 on the SM-T380.
New build: 20230408
Changelog:
- Fixed sensors. Rotation working.
- Removed auto-brightness. Apparently this tablet just straight up does not have auto-brightness sensor, so I cannot support it.
- LineageOS recovery works.
Reboot-2-recovery is still broken. I kind of don't understand why at this point, but I'll keep digging.
Note that security patches are still on March. Google has not released a security patch for April at this time.
