Question Android Auto not reading text messages - Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus

When I get a new message and touch the "read aloud" button on my screen, it just asks if I'd like to reply without reading the actual message. Do I need to set something up? This hasn't happened before.

Sms time stamp issue

Hi guys, It's possible to know the times of the message has been sent?
when i turn on my x10, it only shows the times of the messages are being received. It does matter to me when the message is being sent.
for example: if someone send a message for an emergency at 1pm, and fews hours later, you turn your phone on and see the times of the message being received on your x10 which is quiet late for an emergency.
On my N97. It does have this feature which is very useful to me.
Just long press on the message and you should get a pop up with View Message Details and it gives you the time.
On the Handcent SMS app which I prefer to the stock app, it gives you a time just above the speech bubble containng the message on the thread.

Click to collapse
thanks for your input, but i dont think you understand my question.
This also annoys me. Every phone I have ever had has been able to show me the time the message was sent, not just received. But even when long pressing and then selecting 'Message Details', it still only shows the time it was received, annoying!
still no one can answer this?? that's suck

Disable registration message (sms) pop up?

After installing android 2.1 i get the "would you register the phone" message popup.
I remember when i first got the phone i had this, always pressed cancel but it kept popping up and was billed for the sms.
Now the same thing is happening again, anyway of disabling this and not get billed for another sms registration?
I would also to know if that is possible.
open original sms app
press menu button
press settings
Didnt find any settings there, think the sms goes to 0046737494040 sony ericsson.
I also would like to know how to disable this message
From memory it was part of SE's "R2R Client" (Ready2Run) on 1.6, haven't put 2.1 on my phone so can't confirm that it's still the same, but removing that on 1.6 stopped it.

Problem with Messages related pop-up "Currently unable to send your message"

Problem with Messages related pop-up "Currently unable to send your message"
I have a problem with the SMS sending software.
It'll VERY often keep a message at the screen when it fails to send a message because of lack of carrier coverage and it'll be there popping on the screen for some time indefinitely (starts fading out then fades in again... loop). The problem is it overlaps the other apps I switch to after hitting Send.
This has aways happened and I didn't manage to find the fix yet (already factory reseted since I got this phone). Is there any setting? I'm sending the screen attached.
What bugs me more is that there's a setting on the Messages app which seems related to it, and it's already disabled. In fact I don't know the purpose if this setting because any value I choose I can see nothing different. (It's in the Notifications part. It's called "Display message on screen", the options are "Sent success only", "Sent failure only", "Sent success and failure" and "None".)
I already tried solving this with HTC support but didn't have much luck. If you know what this setting is and about the issue with the ever popping pop-up "Currently unable to send your message. It will be sent when the service becomes available." any explanation would be highly appreciated!!
PS. Even found this topic but with no solution (with the exception the message actually stops by itself after a little time).
I'd expect the message to show once to let me know what's happening and that when signal is restored it'll attempt to send it again, and not the phone to keep repeating it to death.

Quick Response Popup Stops Me Answering Phone

Sometimes when my phone rings I get this stupid popup window that blocks me from swiping my phone to answer the call. The phone is still ringing and I have the option to select one of the phrases. I just want to answer the phone. This does not happen all the time it is intermittent. I have now gone into the Quick Responses and deleted the four phrases so not sure if this will help or if I will now get a blank popup and still cannot answer the call.
Any advice would be appreciated.

[question] How to get rid of the "messages has not been sent" prompt?

Hi. A long time ago I have sent a group message and got the feedback prompt "messages has not been sent".
I have ignored this as only two of the recipents were wrong.
Now I don't have that message anymore on my phone but I keep getting the prompt.
The phone shows it each every hour or two. What's worse it pushes it to my smatwatch which rings as if I got a real sms. It's very iritating.
I have wiped out the cache of the sms app but it didn't help.
So the question is how to fix this?
I don't want to loose all my sms messages - many of them are important to me.
You may have to delete the problem message. I have done this by long-pressing it and then selecting to delete it (I just checked that this works on Google Messages). In theory, that should stop it from trying to send it to the bad contacts... of course, it also means you'll lose the message, but it's only one, so it may be ok?
