Hello, is there a method to move apps to the SD with root? I know samsung let you move some apps to the SD but this option seems broken since the One UI 4.1 update.
The best apps are lucky patcher and sd maid

Hi, again Link2Sd but that seems to break system sometimes.
Here is something you can try goto A11 build move apps to SD then update, I guess it should probably or they removed that feature for good cuz that might had bugs to resolve on newer Android.

Yeah, I already do that, I'm currently on One UI 3. I really hope One UI 5 fix this issue.
O don't think its an issue they might be trying to optimise device by making no apps on SD as after boot device lags for few seconds like 30. ^_^

now, all my installed apps force close.... what should i do ??? I can't access market to reinstall them, can't syng my gmail.... nothing. Any ideas?
I have the same problem, but with App2SD..
Anyone could helps us?
Thanks..
Have u restarted ur phones?
Better than app2sd? Pros? Cons?
As I see it's way easier to install, comparing to app2sd
In App2SD applications installs to SD AUTOMATICALLY.
How they will install with Link2SD ?
1. To SD card by auto
2. To Phone and than move by self to SD ?
If 2 - then maybe modify code to move apps between /system/app and /data/app ?
If 2, u won't be able to install big apps. that's right?
And this too (big apps in some cases cannot be installed).
So, i 've got another problem, app after launch get force close. I have 2 partitions on my SD, Fat32 and Ext2, any ideas?
Use App2SD.
As for me - Link2SD has 1/2 of good idea - grafical moving applications.
But links - not good.
It may move between card and phone - that will be GREAT 100% of happiness.
i've tried the link2sd (app2sd n dc2sd)n it's works correctly even first boot needs much time depend on the apps...recomendations use highspeed class of sdcard to get good apps process
mine are working flawlessly
Thank's for the developer
thank you for sharing ! Works well, just what I've been looking for.
I've tried it,,
but why do a lot to reduce the internal memory
Works great
new version 1.3.0
thanks for sharing~let me have a look.
I've tried to install app2SD many times, but don't work...
Link2SD seems to be easy and works great! Thanks do the Developer

New version 1.42.;-) one of the best free apps.
Sent from my E15i using XDA App
only the market fix doesn´t work for me
we can´t move the system applications, but if we uninstall the apps that we want to move to sd and install again, there is possible to move them
i try with semchome.apk
I wanted to ask how people manage their storage on their A101 efficiently. I have noticed that my system storage fills up as I install new apps and I have to manually move each to internal storage to keep the A101 running smoothly. Some apps cant be moved it seems.
Is there someway of getting apps to automatically install to internal storage to make life a little easier?
If you have root (Archangel is fine) you can use Move2SD Enabler. It is available on the market. Read instructions from the link below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=720739
as you can't move apps with widgets or system apps, as they won't work properly. It has saved me lots of space on my A70.

Thanks Darren. I haven't gone down the Root path yet. Is there an app you can use without root that will do the job?
Try App 2 SD from the market
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd&feature=search_result
You can only move apps which android allows to be moved with this, but it will tell you if you can move an app when you install new ones.

Loaded App 2 SD.
Thought it was really good. Made life much easier.
However its highlighted a problem with my storage. I have posted the problem in another thread that I started a while ago here:

Perhaps you have some thoughts on it?

Since Android 6.0, we have the option to adopt microSD storage as internal storage, the so called Adoptable Storage. It gives you the benefit of being able to install apps on it natively.
Many OEMs have disabled the functionality in their firmware builds, including Sony.
It seems that their disabling has not actually removed the functionality from Android, but just hidden the controls to it. Recently, several attempts to restore the functionality have been made successfully. I just came across one done by MoDaCo on the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Can someone o the Z4 Tablet MM firmware try this out? It seems to be pretty easy and done using ADB. Might be interesting for some.
If no one else has I might give it a try later I don't really need it but just for research reasons really. I have a lot of apps but I really don't need the extra internal

it gets a bit weird... but I like the convenience
I have enabled it on my Marshmallow (CM13) SAMSUNG Galaxy S5.
I find it quite useful when dealing with my space eaters like OSMand and my mp3-collection and especially seafile.
I could not get the latter to store its downloaded contents on my 64GBytes card. Now I do not care anymore.
BUT:
There is some behind the scenes magic going on.
TWRP 3.0 sees the filesystem quite differently than you will see it under Marshmallow even with a root enabled file manager. Maybe it needs an update for these merged partitions.
example:
DL a new nightly with cmupdater and tell it to update the ROM -> TWRP boots and does not find the nightly.zip.
No big deal you think, just open the file manager of TWRP and find/move the file from /sdcard/cmupdater
surprise: /sdcard/... is not accessible or it does not contain the files you have just seen under Marshmallow.
My workaround: move the nightly.zip with a filemanager to /data, then boot into TWRP and install from /data
Was dissapointed to see that it was disabled, seeing as i have a 128 gb micro sd card installed I'm not qualified to fix this at all, but i hope there are some legends out there that can

One of those being @AndroPlus He just released an update to his Xposed module SystemUI Patcher for Lollipop (that could use a name-change) adding support for it:

Nice! I'm not sure i am all for rooting the device though, but it is nice to know that there are solutions.
Just tried on my z4 tablet and works fine. I had to however force adoptable for it to work. using 32GB with ration of 30%. Just finished migrating and everything seems fine.
Hi All,
I've just updated to MM and everything is running perfectly with root. What a difference in performance!
I have always been able to save stuff into SD card regardless of app using SDFIX patch. (It was meant for Kitkat but also worked on Lollipop)
Is there a fix for this? I want all apps to have access to SD Card..
Or is there a way to create a folder on the SD card for full access? I'm quite confused using these options as i've always applied the SDFix patch
Many thanks
Have you found a solution? I went to edit the permissions and didn't even see the external storage permission in the file, so I'm not sure it's as simple as it used to be.

Nope, still don't know how, i'm just using workarounds for all my applications that require it at the moment. Feels backwards as I use my SDcard a lot since upgrading to MM, but worth it for my phone not lagging anymore!
I do love the upgrade a lot!

Hey there. I' m here with the same problem... Any news on this? Cheers!
hello,
I am using third p780 and I have similar problem in each one. As that last one comes from trusted source I would need to check it.
I am using AOSP fw now and I havent done any changes/restores/resets from the last year when I have configured phone. But in last time I see that I cant install more than 10-15 little apps,
from the bigger ones I have found gmail, chrome and I would like to install more than few little apps (<50MB).
Is there any possibility to check the andoid flash for 'bad sectors' ? I have heard long time ago that when I need to uninstall apps to install new ones that could be a syndrome of getting flash failures. My main storage was set to SDcard which is sandisk extreme 32gb microsd card - but I have seen that apps was installed to phone storage by default. I am pretty sure that the sd card is healthy.
How can I check that(phone storrage) ? Maybe in ADB mode? Maybe there is any app for that?
regards

Hi.
I have not found any software to do what you want.
Maybe sp flash tool can do that.
But... i have changed my P780 because of this space problem.
Try one MIUI, Older MIUI and see if in that firmware you can install more then 15 apps.
I do not think this is some hardware problem. In my opinion the small storage chipset is the problem.
Good Luck.
