@TheCloverly
Greetings. Just a friendly FYI, there is no "13" rom version available for the device you listed, and the 7 and 11 versions are no longer available in your DL link.
If you would please fix this ASAP so as this thread is not closed for being a "placeholder," we would be most appreciative.

Device RMX2151
Can Android 13 based ROMs for rm6785(rmx2151 in this case) be flashed from RUI2 or RUI1 ?
which custom recovery do you suggest ?
When I flash android 13 ROMs on rmx2151, they don't work, phone reboots at booting animation of the custom rom
I installed this ROM successfully but when I tried to go into my custom recovery "Orangefox"
The device stands on the logo and restarts itself and keeps the device logo
Please any help on this sir
Does this ROM work for Realme 6S (RMX2002)?

I had the same problem. To fix the bootloop I followed this tutorial:
On my PC I had to replace the command "python --version" with "py --version" and later instead of "python -m pip pyusb pyserial json5" I had to run "py -m pip pyusb pyserial json5"
After that I replaced the stock software.
Then enable USB debugging, then do the following:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
fastboot reboot recovery
You can find vbmeta.img either in the stock firmware or in the rom zip package.
When you are in recovery mode you have to flash Magisk.zip to prevent stock rom from replacing the recovery. After that reboot to recovery, then you can flash the rom.

yes it can be bypassed by modifying the zip, but let's make sure the assert works fine without that.
it's done now, next weekly will fix it.

Hello everyone,
I tried to install omni-9-20190421-keyaki-WEEKLY. Updater process ended with error :7 "Error installing zip. Says this device is Kagura. After deleting the "assert" in the updater-script the system came up after several reboots (took a lot of patience). But the phone app crashed instantly. The reboot ended up in a boot loop. I had to go back to omni-8.1.0-20180812-keyaki-WEEKLY what works great.
Is this rom stable enough for everyday use? I'm looking forward to this.

First!
Nice one mate, tried this rom on s4 & really liked it... Great to see some development for g7
So first off........ Great Rom. Love the features and settings. Had to follow lineage's instructions for this Rom installation. One problem I am having though is when I finished up the installation, go back to recovery, my sdcard(internal storage) is encrypted I think. I don't know if I did something wrong.

Good catch, I missed this information when I had a look!
It seems to be a issue with the app he's using!
DevCheck by Flar2 (who does the ElementalX kernel for years on many different devices) reports the android version correctly - and I personally trust rather Flar2's App then anything else!
Should be just a bug in the App that OP uses...
Edit: also selinux appears to be disabled in OPs screenshot, I wonder if he did this on purpose or what the deal is (another App bug?) because usually Magisk patches selinux but doesn't disable it, at least from my experience...

Since our device still no TWRP Support, i will give you a simple guide how to root redmi 9 using magisk. Original guide is here
Big Thanks to @N3OMOD :good::good::good:
REQUIREMENT :
- Already UNLOCK BOOTLOADER
- Magisk Manager
- Internet Connection
- Your PC already installed adb&fastboot driver
- Boot.img from your current MIUI version (EXTRACTED FROM MIUI FULL RECOVERY ROM)
- vbmeta.img
Known Limitation:
- Can't modify system partition
- Maybe cause selinux problem
- Must have stock boot.img
How to:
STEP 1
- BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA BECAUSE IT WILL FORMAT DEVICES
- Install Magisk Manager
- Turn ON Internet Connection and Open Magisk Manager
- Press install button > select method patch a file > choose boot.img from your current miui version > WAIT UNTIL DONE
- Open download folder and copy magisk_patched.img to your PC (adb tools usually in C:\ADB and Fastboot)
- Download vbmeta.img in attachment and copy to C:\ADB and Fastboot
STEP 2
- Go to fastboot (press and hold >>> power+volume down)
- open command prompt in C:\ADB and Fastboot then type this code one by one carefully
- Setup your phone again
- Reinstall Magisk Manager and open it (Internet Connection required for download some magisk files and will automatically reboot)
- DONE....ENJOY ROOT ACCESS :good::good::good:
NOTES:
Tested on MIUI 11.0.3.0 GLOBAL
Use your own magisk patched boot from your current miui version, click here for miui full recovery rom

Yes, definitely bootloop risk!
Make sure you understand the instructions in this post and to have the stock kernel stored close to you, in theory you should be easy able to restore the device from bootlooping by flashing the unmodified stock kernel...
And you'll need to unlock the bootloader which will factory reset the device, so before playing around you'll probably want to backup your important files and do the unlocking process, which takes a while on xiaomi phones

Here is the Guide to decrypt Poco X2/phoenix/phoenixin
1. Download all files from afh i.e. twrp recovery, decryptv3.zip and vbmeta.img
2. flash twrp using either fastboot or from existing recovery itself
3. reboot to recovery
4. flash vbmeta.img using flash image in vbmeta slot
5. Mount vendor, system
6. flash decryptv3.zip
7. reboot to recovery
8. format data
9. enjoy decrypt
NOTE:
Users need to flash decryptv3.zip and vbmeta.img immediately after flashing rom zipevery time when changing rom or updating same rom else it will be encrypted again and for decryption users need to format data again which is mess (dont cry afterwards)
How to avoid flashing zip and image everytime:
Ask rom builders to edit fstab and build to remove encryption by default.

MOD EDIT: Telegram link removed, please read the STICKY!
Hey @joshi1 welcome back, great guide.
Thanks for the guide, but this is more complicated than flashing the disable encryption zip made by @zachptg5 while still end up with the same result.
It's working fine with Android 10
And didn't work with Android 11
I hope you updated to fix on Android 11
Thanks man

So before I brick this thing again, How should I install a GSI properly without bricking, and which GSI would you recommend? I am looking for something more privacy oriented. Thank you in advance

I have tried Evolution X A13 & Pixel Experience Plus A13 & CRDROID A12 and on all of them I had issues with Wifi, bluetooth, thethering - non of them worked so I gave up and went back to miui
1. adb reboot bootloader
2. fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img (take the vbmeta.img file from your current firmware)
3. fastboot reboot fastboot (because gsi must be flashed in fastbootd )
4. fastboot getvar is-userspace
5. fastboot erase system
6. fastboot delete-logical-partition product_a
7. fastboot flash system YOUR_GSI_ROM.img (system.img)
8. fastboot reboot recovery
9. (in recovery) wipe data
10. (in recovery) reboot to system
i flashed yesterday Arrow OS lite A12 it has several fixes for most common problems on board and it worked very well and smooth.
on telegram you can found a magiskmodul fix for auto-variable Hz and a magisk modul for disable hw-overlays consistent. (cauz after reboot it turn back on automaticly)
BUT gaming performance is horrible and good kernel tweaks are over my level
Had someone tried any of these GSI images without having wifi / bluetooth issues?

Download the Fastboot Firmware that match the Firmware on your phone from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...dmi-note-11s-4g-poco-m4-pro-4g-fleur.4428655/
Extract it with the file and in the images folder is the vbmeta.
I have this weird issue on every GSIs where the status bar isn't aligned with the camera. Does anyone know how I can fix that?
