A simple way to find out the region of your device and does not need a computer, just use your smartphone. Just enter *#6776# in the phone app and you will get the Software Version.Scroll down and there you will find Manifest:Image. From this data, we can find out which region our device is using.
Examples: The EUEX version will be labeled 44:44.
If you went from India to EU it will be 44:1b, from China to India 1b:97.

Hi, I have a OnePlus device (10T) and it seems OnePlus follows the same naming. But, it has "a7" as a possible value, what would that region mean?
Quote from their forum:
1. You can try to distinguish if your device is GLO or EU version by following these steps below:
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> a7:44 (GLO version)
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> 44:44 (EU version)
I didn't find out what region you have listed?

First of all, not every device uses every possible region, that's why you can't find the info here. Second, A7 means Rest Of the World (abbreviated ROW) and it appears to use the GDPR ROM.

It depends on the region you're in. You should use the Customized firmware for your region.

There is the new firmware .232 available for the Saudi Arabia region, but I don't think someone already created a prerooted firmware for it.

hum... that's from Saudi Arabia so it should be the right region, but as what was said this is an old firmware, 5.0.2
Come on, you can use whatever customization you want. The D6503 is a GLOBAL phone, doesn't really matter if you run USA firmware on Spain or Japan. The baseband is the same for all models (An exceptio could be carrier branded firmwares)
Hello, someone who can help me with some screenshots of an LG V30 + LS998 / LS998U Sprint.
Hello it turns out that my phone an LS998U, as it looks for the imei, has installed the firmware of a US998. and in my country it is required to homologate the phones to be able to use it, so I wanted to ask if please if someone with the LS998 / LS998U version sends me these screens:
1. FCC-ID (General> Regulatory & Safety)
2. see the name of the phone (About Phone).
3. and another where you see the model of the phone (About Phone> Hardware info).
Thanks a lot

I've the same device as yours, and I'm currently on 12.0.1
I guess, the only solution is to wait for Xiaomi to start the dev branch of "sunny" roms, and provide an OTA Update.
Or you can unlock your bootloader and shift to eu rom if you want.

Previously I install the highlight frimware butt my phone shows Sony logo and off after that it shows Sony logo vibrate 2 time and then restart not booting it shows charging on connecting charger and shows percentage of battery
I think you have solved the problem already. If not try disabling the antivirus and try again. don't forget to wipe userdata.
I have the APAC version of RMX3301 (global) that is loaded with Realme bloat ware like App Market and Game Center.
I could uninstall most of the bloatware, but not the App Market and Game Center.
I noticed that the RMX3301 ROM comes in two versions:
1. RMX3301export_11_A.10
2. RMX3301GDPR_11_A.10
The "GDPR" version seems to be the EU version of the firmware and is much smaller than "export" version of the firmware.
Could anyone confirm that the EU version of the firmware is not loaded with App Market and Game Center?
Thanks,
-Ad
I have game center but not app market. I have global eu version but where to check if is export or gdpr version?

Looks like you are on the latest firmware.
Do you by any chance still have the firmware update file? It is in the Downloads folder on your phone.
Could you please check to see if you have call recording? It is under "Settings -> Call Recording", in the Dialer dot menu (top right).
No, i don't have . New update is coming, i wait and i will save. Also call recording don't exist. Is Google dialer.
Managed to convert in export RU version in the same way as convert to China in global. Now i have realme dialer with call recording by default.
Hi @criszz could you give us link to instruction how to change region? I tried to search for it on 4pdadotru but with no luck.
Is not a region change, is to flash a regional rom. In my case RU rom. Download Russian rom and flash it with same process like changing CN to global. Guide is here on xda. I will make a thread when i have time.
Thanks for quick answer. Unfortunately it is thing what I don't want to do.
