I'm using the latest magisk delta canary release and it [OxygenOS] detects that there is an update but it fails [to install] every time... If there isn't a way to update, or if not Is there a way to block my phones ability to check for updates?

I use Package Disabler to see that. Not sure where it's gleaning the info from though.
