Hello Everyone
This is my first question so if I make any mistake please tell me and I will correct them.
I love my Oppo Find N, is the best I have ever had and it fit my life style perfectly. However I'm not happy with the software in general.
My questions are
- do you know any custom ROM for this phone ? If not Do you think that if I flash a Z fold 4 ROM on it would it work ?
thank you
The rom of other device will never work

Do you know any custom ROM for the find N?
At this moment there is no custom ROM because no one was able to root the device nor unlock the bootloader. Without root and bootloader unlocked, it's impossible to have a custom ROM.

Hi everyone,
I have a Tablet PC.from China called Sonngie SKYRAY071.
Supposedly it is compatible with a HuaYi A10HuaYi A10
As a beginner wit root I would like to know how to flashe it. Maybe with Jellybean ROM?
Should one use a Custom or Stock ROM ?
What does one have to take into account?
Is it easier to use the App ROM Manager ?
Where does one find a suitable ROM?
etc.
Thanks for all tips.

if you are rooted, seek recovery for your tablet. You can use Rom Manager to flash CWM Recovery, but i'm not sure if it would really flash, since i don't know if it supports your tablet.
Custom ROMs are way better than Stock ones, but you hope too much, i don't think Jellybean version is available for your tablet. For searching custom ROMs, use Google or XDA forums.
Hello Guys,
I am pretty new to this forum. Recently i bought Xperia U and now i want to install custom rom on it. Previously i had a samsung galaxy 5 set and I installed cyanogen Rom on it via Odin. and i know that process well but for Xperia U this will be my first attempt. can any one please tell me the exact order to install custom rom (say, Xperience Lite , JB experience V2 etc). My phone is already rooted but bootloader is locked(i guess as i didn't do anything). Also at first i want to back up my current rom so that later i can use it to get warranty :cyclops:. Please help me.

So, its good your phone is rooted. The first thing you need to do (if you dont unlock your bootloader) is to flash recovery for locked bootloader (CWM). After you successfully install it you can flash .zip roms for locked bootloader in your phone.
Warning: Always flash the CWM and the rom for your phone and for locked bootloader.

Hi Folks,
Been reading alot of different threads and searching the net. I see some of the sellers on e bay have roms with google play store and multi languages pre installled. From what i gather these seem to be a custom rom and not the global rom. (which has me thinking is the bootloader unlocked on these ones?)
Are there any disadvantages to buying these? will the rom get OTA updates( probably not) ? will they contain more bloatware than the stock original rom?
So should I buy stock rom? Then upgrade to the Global rom for the english and to get rid of any chinese stuff on the phone?
If i want to install custom roms, then i gather the best way is to request via the mi link to have bootloader unlocked and flash to the developer ROM.
i have read a few different ways, users maybe bricking phones. So want to ensure I do things right from the start.
Any advice is most welcome.

1.bootloader is not unlocked
2.all phones, which don't come from mi.com have custom roms installed and you will not receive OTA upadtes in future, but you can install original MIUI Global Rom.It don't care if they contain bloatware, you will flash new rom
3.you don't need to buy sotware,it is free from miui forum
4.i don't recommend you to unlock bootloader and to install custom roms;too many people around us cry after this action.Stay with original rom and you will don't have problems
P.S:i suggest you to buy from trustworthy reseller and not from Ebay or untrusted sources, easy you can receive a fake device.
Thanks for the tips, one final question as a lot of the flashing process seems to be all over the place or conflicting information.
If I had a stock version rom and a custom rom , do both require for the boot loader to be unlocked to flash to the global rom? Basically I just want the global rom, that will get updates and just install google services . It's a phone for the wife. Don't want a lot of bother. So in just trying to force a reliable seller and gather whether I need to request to get the boot loader unlocked or not.
There is a way to flash roms with locked bootloader. Just having vendor rom doesn't necessarily mean the bootloader is unlocked.
Vendor ROMs or unofficial MIUI ROM might have malware/bloatware pre-installed. I myself prefer official ROM unless the customized ROM is from well recognized developer.
If you'd like to have global rom, then you should buy the redmi note 3 with qualcomm cpu, aka redmi note 3 pro.

You can install Global Rom even the bootloader is locked(mine is locked);global rom have google services preinstalled, you don't need to install nothing related to Google apps. The phone is very good and speedy and nice. One more timeON'T UNLOCK BOOTLOADER.Think a litlle and ask your self:Why Xioami had to invest more money in extra security?

did you find any custom roms?
I would like to know if there is any developer that we can contact and ask him if there is any possibility for a custom rom
No. For whatever reason development for this phone is almost non existent. Even the G4 looks better by compassion and that isn't amazing in terms of ROMS either. How may ROM are currently in development for the G5? 3? 4?
Hi, I'm using Lenovo tab 7 essentials.. this tablet lags alot and have really less storage space available cuz of preinstalled apps and performance wise it sucks. I've tried searching for customs roms for this tab on google and couldn't find any? Where can i find roms for this tablet? and btw i have bootloader unlock option available in developer settings.
I might try making one, I am a beginner so it might take me a long time to learn a custom rom. I see a custom rom for its brother, TB-7304i. Idk about this one.
