Still far from fully working, but promising at least, since most of what I tested just force closes.

Hello, guys do you have problem with the Gcam and the xml file:
Arcide-8.7-for-Xiaomi-12T-Pro.xml with this lib: lib8.7_Arcide_2023-01-15.so
With MIUI upddate the gcam started to crash and its like the GCAM is loosing the setting file coz when its not crashing then photos looks terrible, even worst than stock cam.
I updated for the latest GCAM and imported the settings again and it didn't fix the problem.
If the latest version works for you guys can you do comparision photo stock vs gcam settings, maybe its the xml fault?

dont use this gcam, its bad. Autofocus is missing half of the shots.
Just received my 12T Pro today. Installed LMC8.4_R18F1 from Hasli on it. Seems to work fine out of the box.
Still just testing stuff out. Man this standard camera is upping the colours a lot. I still have my Poco F2 Pro but that one is a bit less colourly. With the Gcam colours seem more natural.

Updated the phone out of the box to the latest MIUI (14.0.9) , Installed that cam as everyone sais that it crashes with Gcam.
And I also installed another Gcam to test .. it crashed so it is repeatable what someone said.
As per your question. No config loaded and it works semi perfectly. No crashes or whatever, Tried video, portret, all the camera lenses after switching them on in the settings. It all seems to work for now. (need to test more)
If I have time I will try to mess with the settings for a config, but time is not my friend at the moment.
I also use that Gcam on my Poco F2 Pro and it is generaly really good. With a bit to many things to play with actually.
Oww tried portrait with the selfie cam, a serious difference in the positive way.
At least my grass is not nuclear green now when taking a photo. They should really have some colour settings in the standard camera.
Seems like a good base to make some config files for.
edit: only thing I see so far is that panorama doesn't work

Couple days ago a new port for Google Camera was released with support for a few devices which include the OnePlus 3/3T and the OnePlus 5.
With this update a lot has changed, like support for Camera HDR+ with RAW support, full HDR+ customisation. But this for everything to work properly you need to tweak the developer setting in the app settings so that everything could work as expected. After trying tens of combination I got almost everything working as it was supposed to and also a few extra things (^^). Like hdr+ with zsl, smart burst, raw, 60fps video recording, slow motion etc.

To significantly reduce the processing(capture time for her+) time you could set the buffer time to either 1 or 3 and restart the app. But the application crashes more if you do so.

First off thank you but I didn't do any of the hard work, all the hard work went to porting which I didn't do I just found a working configuration.
Check the ss and see if everything is similar to what I have after that video eis should work if still it doesn't then clear app data and try again.
This camera works great on LOS15, wish there was a full manual mode.

How is this different than other Ivanich mods?

Okay i did not say that you won't have any crash and can you show anywhere else that some has provided as configuration that enables 'everything' in gcam ?
If yes then only this thread is obsolete.
BTW it freezes/crashes 1 out of 5 times.

I'm currently experimenting using BSG 6.1.021, Sanity 6.2.030 and Sanity 7.0.009 beta version. Sanity Beta 7.0.009 took the best night shot/astrophotography hands down. but im still figuring out which gcam version took the best snapshots for daily use. Which one for you is the best version that produce a better image quality?

BSG's MGC-7.0.009_MiIXSE.RPII.MiVIII_V1b_NoFixBuff works flawlessly for me on LineageOS 16. I haven't yet tested his 7.2 release linked in the other thread (MGC_7.2.011_MiIXSE.RPII.MiVIII_V0).

With this port the photos looks a bit oversharpened, but it's faster than the San1ty one, which are your setting to get cleaner photos like the san1ty port?
I keep all at default. I only use auto AWB (put button on screen), the WB on default didn't like me.

it's a very good port, nice version, i'm on miui 11 last stable android 9 and this version works very well, it's all ok, astrophotography too.
I only set to 15 max n. of frames of hdr+ enhanced and force face detection for beauty filter.

Im a Italian guy that found a gcam that works perfect on Umidigi S5 PRO, the only problem is that S5 Pro dont havethe RAW capture and the "photo" voice show black screen.
Video and the other photograpic functions/scenes works flawlessy (Panorama etc...)
Video 4k results are the best i got, even better of OpenCamera and gcam 5.1, plus HyperCam can load XML for have bot Day/Light and Night/Dark settings ready on the go.
The Author is Wyroczen and was made for Xiaomi but we got same MediaTek 90T and 48mpx.
If you can contact the Author and help with the correction of Raw Sensor access that obviusely make the "photo" only not working or if you can fix yourself make sure to update this thread.
My Thanks to ho will help in the process of fixing the problem.

Glad you had no trouble. I meant to post earlier that the same procedure for the F2 works for this as well. It's apparently an Android 10 procedure. It also works on the Power3. However, the F2 twrp doesn't work, unfortunately.

This is the build that loads: HyperCam-RaizenA-10-OPZ_RN8P - You can find it on GCam Hub.
Video and Lens Blur work. Nothing else at the moment.
Hopefully we can find a working combo of sorts.
I'm curious. @Wyroczen I know you're super busy with the RN8P and not asking for you to do any dev work here, but would you have any ideas as to why the S5 Pro may not play as nicely as other phones with the same chipset? Any sort of direction/insight would be incredibly appreciated on top of everything that you've already done and continue to do.
Never mind. I found the answer. Umidigi needs to enable RAW camera API.
Rooted the phone and have been trying to enable RAW CAPTURE. Modified the build.prop which resulted in a boot loop or stuck boot. Tried via engineering mode and by flashing a couple different Magisk CAM2 enablers/Pix3flfy. Nothing. Doesn't even show up as an option in engineering mode to enable RAW.
Anyone have any luck getting around this? Anyone know of any MTK firmware disassemblers? Maybe we can just force enable the RAW capture mode ourselves...

Can u tell sir about working version of gcam for realme 7 in this thread there are multiple links i cannot understand which version to use also can u tell does all lense works or only main lense night sight portrait video selfie cam etc can u tell me about only one single gcam version in which basic functions works with config file bcause i hv wasted my 15000 on this phone and stock cam is just waste inside indoor light it tooks 2mp pics plz sir help i hv made a mistake on mediatek device plz sir its a request

Bro I'm not a developer, I'm just a casual user as you are. I also recently bought Realme 7 and trying different gcams and other things and trying to help other users out there with my experience and knowledge

ffs dotn use any version 6 gcam mods, just use v7, u have m\any of them and im guessing many will work fine, im usiing many of them on my motorola g7 - any of those mods r not compatibile with my phone but work like a charm, justy do it your self

Stock camera has improved greatly, but when it comes to zooming into the picture, stock cam's processing still does terribly with fine detail and edge smoothing. In my attached picture, the top is stock cam and bottom is gcam at 100% crop.

Do you have a Snapdragon S20 Ultra? If so, your telephoto Camera ID should be 52 (also the same ID for the S10/Note 10 series). I have the XML in my zip file since I can't attach XML files directly. If you extract and apply it, it should work.

Download that zip and extract the XML from it. Steps to apply XML files to Gcam can be found here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/settings09/

works perfect with the XML file on my SM-G9880Oneui2.5, btw is there any possibility to enable the front camera？
How do you install the apk when it has the same name as the stock camera app?

Sadly no, Samsung removed the RAW ability so it's on them to re-add it (vs telephoto where they hid it rather than removed it).

It actually doesn't use the same name as the stock camera. It uses the same name as this app here, so you'll have to uninstall it first: https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.scan3d&cId=000005201279

I have Exynos version, that's why I asked how can one figure out the correct camera IDs?

You can run this to get the correct IDs, can you let me know which IDs you see for Exynos?
Works with galaxy note 10+ (snapdragon) with all 3 lenses for photos only
Video recording not working

But it's not problem for me, the most important thing that I have finally found Gcam port works with telephoto lens.
Note : you have to uninstall 3d scanner before installing the port.
Used GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1_Wichaya_V3.1.1.apk and Wichaya_3.1.xml on Galaxy S20+ Snapdragon.
Pressing "Zoom" crashes the app and I had to reset app data.
By the way, is there a GCam that can record 4K video?

Yeah, sadly video doesn't work with telephoto and Wichaya's right now. Good point about the 3D Scanner though, I guess some people might actually have that installed haha.

You need to download the 3rd one from Celso's website, the name is GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1_Wichaya_V3.1.1_samsung.apk. This GCAM can do 4k video on the main camera, not the telephoto one.

Thanks, installed that one and checked the info in the settings to see com.samsung.android.scan3d then enabled 4K video in the GCam settings but still no luck. Tried both HEVC and H.264. Will try other GCam 7.4 builds.

Thanks, unfortunately doesn't install on my S20+ Exynos weirdly. Just get the app not installed thing. I don't have root yet.
Anybody that has root could maybe share the IDs from Exynos?

Does pressing switching to the zoom camera work for you now? And for video, you are choosing the main camera and hitting video and it doesn't work? Like does it crash?

Do you have other GCAMs installed? Also do you have the Samsung 3D Scanner app installed? As you'll need to remove that too.

Yeah I don't have any of them, checked it before, but just doesn't install.
Keeps crashing on my unlocked Snapdragon S10+ after taking a regular photo, with and without the xml applied.
