Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
I have Alcatel 4030x running MIUI v5 3.5.31 and its been trouble free-up to now! As mentioned in the guide it used to reboot at random and its suggested to change the lock screen. I did this in favour of a numeric password. It rebooted to the lockscreen and the keypad. But......... the keypad is only displaying 1-9 and my password contains zero's and so I am locked out now.
My pc does not recognise it when in usb connection in order for me to reflash/reinstall etc. Can anyone offer any help/advice with this please?
Thanks
Can you access the recovery menu? Would doing a factory reset fix this?
I have a huawei p20 lite but everytime i try to install and apply a new custom lockscreen, huawei's default lockscreen appears before the custom and then skip the other one.
How can i remove default lockscreen?
There's only slid and password options for stock lockscreen but no option to not to apper it.
Devs option to not to have to slide for unlock takes off any lockscreen.
Tried so hard but no configs option can do... help please?
hi people, looking to your advice and suggestions.
I was on Android 9 Miui 10. Last night I did a dirty flash to Android 10 Miui 11. There was no issues during this process and the phone booted up fine with no loss of data.
Steps I took -
1) Disabled Magisk modules
2) Removed all screenlock and Google and MIUI accounts
3) Made a Nandroid backup before flashing
Today morning, I tried to set up screenlock on Android 10 MIUI 11. Added the pattern lock, and added a fingerprint. Strangely when I tried to add one more fingerprint (for my left index finger), it asked me to set pattern lock again. Well I set it again, and added the new fingerprint. Same thing happened when I set the face unlock. I added the pattern lock again. But, the patternlock never turned to ON status, even though fingerprint and facelock was showing ON.
When I tried to lock the screen and to test it out, I was able to unlock with swipe (with no pattern, fingerprint or face unlock required). I haven't set any smart unlock as well.. I thought perhaps a reboot will help, but now I'm stuck on a soft bootloop ( the phone boots upto to the lockscreen and reboots before I can do anything )
Is there any suggestions on what I can do ? Please advise. Thanks in advance

Fix
Managed to fix it my myself. FYI
1) Boot TWRP Recovery click Advanced> File Manager> data> system and delete 6 files (ref : https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/remove-lockscreen-recovery-t3530008)
1.access_control.key
2.access_control_password_type.key
3.locksettings.db
4.locksettings.db-shm
5.locksettings.db-wal
6./data/system/users/0/settings_fingerprint.xml
Bootup was successful
2) After bootup, you might find it difficult to set the screenlock password (won't take affect). Follow this -
In a web browser (on any device), log into Gmail with the account you used when setting up your phone.
Go to https://myaccount.google.com/intro/find-your-phone
Press "Lock your phone"
Enter "abcd"
Your phone's screen is now locked. Unlock it with "abcd"
You can now change your screen lock.

Hi there,
Good that you resolved on your own.
Also, this bug can be resolved this way. Try to setup second space. If you are already setup earlier with a password then follow the other member guide until the removal of locksettings db files. Then reboot and try setup the second space.. while setting up it will request to setup the password or pattern for first space and finger prints for second space. Once done move to first space and setup the fingerprints there for first space.
Just making a note here.. so somebody can make use of it in need at desperate hours...
I have spent sometime to figure this bug in the first space but setting up second space solved the bug.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi - I have a Poco F1 running 11.0.9 with MUIU EU and Magisk 25.1. I'd like to remove the pin check at boot so that I can sell the device (I don't want to deal with locking the bootloader again). Is there a way to remove the pin? Under Developer Options, I see the "Encrypt device using Lock screen password" is disabled. Do I need to enable/disable it, or..?
Any suggestions are appreciated! This is a great device I just don't play pogo anymore
SOLVED: enable-then-disable did the trick.
Can anyone help me as my Surface Duo 1 after upgrade to Andriod 12L with factory reset. I forget the email address at Google and cannot confirm the device. I use the by pass method for Andriod 11 with no hope as the left screen was lock all the time and can do nothing for device setting. Anyone can help to by pass the Google account check? Great thanks in advance.
