General Working GCAM for S23 Ultra - Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Or where can i try and experiment some version?
I haven't dealt with gcam in the last years, so I'm bit out dated

Then i think it will need config file with correct settings.
Don't know if S22 Ultra Snapdragon LMC R15 config file works for this device also.
But if it's crash at opening it's really hard to do anything.

@karrouma trust me, it works (at least it did for me with the one in the guide linked above).... you have to be REAL fast to switch to video mode the instant the GCam UI shows, took me a number of tries until I got it....

Just found a hint on another forum, that should make life easier - just long-press on the Camera icon and select video mode....

Go to settings, advanced settings then all the way down, upscaling option. Disable it to revert to 12mp. I haven't done proper tests to compare and try to figure out if the 28mp output is a downscale from 50mp or an upscale from 12mp (in which case I'm not sure what's the advantage...)
Edit : or, silly me, just hit that hires button at the top to toggle 28mb mode off

Yes Samsung camera app is really good but I want to have a alternative.

I followed the steps there, and I can say it's working. The color fidelity is far better.

Xml ported from s22u snapdragon thread for LMCR15. Put it in LMC8.4 folder.
Open LMC gcam just like all the other gcams for the first time. Longpress on the icon and go to video mode, then double tap next to the shutter button to load the xml.

1. Disable AWB.
2. Update nose models.
3. Update sharp configuration for 0.6x and 1x cameras.
4. Update noise reduction configuration for 0.6x and 10x cameras.
5. Increase max shot time for hdr++ to have better results in low light.

Instruction:
1. Install GCam
2. Extract the attached archive to your root FS
3. Hold on the GCam icon and choose "Capture video"
4. Double tap on the space between the shot button and the gallery and then import my config
5. Done
User interface:
1. HDR++ frames count
2. Google Auto White Balance
3. Expo correction toggle (make all photos brighter)
4. Disable ISO limit to use HDR+ in low light if you don't want to use HDR++
