Got my galaxy S23 ultra a few days ago .
Enabled the developer option and toggled the "Disabled absolute volume" setting but nothing happened.
My phone's volume is still linked to my headphones. Is there some other setting that I missed, same steps used to work on my older S10+ or Vivo phone.
After disabling I toggle bluetooth on and off?
Same problem. S23 FW: S911BXXU1AWC8
"Disabled absolute volume" dont work. Already i reboot phone and do factory reset. I have been see some post's on reddit. And now i knows - i'm not alone

I have the Samsung GN2 which I rooted and flashed the AOKP ROM and associated GAPPS. I love the ROM, but I am having two issues.
1. The phone does not vibrate at all. Not for ANY notifications, whether in vibrate only mode or in sound + vibrate mode. I checked the phone's system settings to make sure that the vibrate option has been checked, and it has. It is set to the "AOKP" vibrate pattern. Each individual app's settings (email, messaging, gmail, etc) also have vibrate checked. There is an option to make a custom vibration and no vibrations will play in that feature nor can I record a new one. It's almost as if the ROM knocked out the phone's ability to vibrate.
2. The volume at it's max setting is very weak, almost like any other phone at 40-50% volume. This affects the speaker phone option, youtube, etc.
Everything else works 100%
I've searched this forum as well as others, the AOKP website for answers, and the suggested similar threads that pop up before you post, and can't find any thread or webpage addressing these specific issues or providing a working solution. I'm not a noob at this - this is the 4th Android phone I've rooted/flashed ROMs/etc - but I also don't posess the advanced knowledge of a programmer/developer.
Are these issues anyone has heard of?
How do I fix this without getting rid of the AOKP ROM?
The attached photo is a screenshot of my phone's info. I'd be happy to provide any other info if needed.
FYI, I haven't wiped and re-flashed the ROM yet.
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
I own a Blackview Crown with the latest SW released (20141015).
I noticed that randomly during the day the audio profiles and the data settings for the dual SIM management are reset to the default values.
For example: I set "screen lock sound" and "vibrate on touch" to OFF and they are set to ON automatically by the system.
In contemporary the bug affects also the data connection settings on the DUAL SIM management menu... it is switched from one SIM card to the other one (and this is the most annoying problem...).
Do you know whether this can be a known problem? Or maybe this is an Android bug?
I already tried to write to Blackview.hk but received no answers so far...
Thanks a lot for your help!!
PS you know whether there is a LOG that can be activated to understand what is happening? this issue does not happen during system reboot... it happens really randomly, every 1-2 days
I found that the settings reset is caused by the Android "POWER SAVING MANAGEMENT" function.
When the "POWER SAVING MANAGEMENT" function is enabled many services are stopped to save power (like data connection or ringtone volume for example). When the "POWER SAVING MANAGEMENT" function is disabled, the settings are set at the default values (such as "high precision" GPS or "vibrate on touch"). The customized settings are lost.
I do not know whether this is a Crown-related issue or it's common to all the Android 4.4.2 users.
Hi, can anyone suggest what I can do to try to nudge sound output back to life in Google Now. It did work for me when I first set it up but now it's silent. I've read around this one before posting and I have cleared the cache for the Google App, checked the system volume (of course) and checked that all the necessary voice/TTS downloads are correct and working so I can hear an example announcement. I've tried every permutation of setting with OK Google on/off, sound on/headphone-only, etc. etc.
I've worked it out! It was the NuPlayer setting in developer options that needed to be turned off; then reboot.
I had tried setting Nuplayer on to fix my 'no sound during calls' issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65590028&postcount=232
I have noticed some sound issues pretty much from day one with my pixel 6.
Initially it started off with the ringtone/notifications playing low, so I assumed this may be some kind of on-body setting where they don't play full blast if your holding the phone.
Now I've noticed when exiting from bedtime/DND modes the phone has no sound, even with all the volume sliders set to max (my usual setting).
I have also had the same thing happen when the phone has been asleep for an hour or two.
Sometimes I can pick the phone up & find I have missed calls or notifications because the phone made no sound/vibration when it was on the desk right next to me.
I have tried adjusting DND setting to no effect. There is also no audio accessories paired to the phone.
So each morning I have to check DND is disabled, then check volume sliders, then reboot the phone before the sound comes back.
I haven't, but I have a family member that has experienced what you've described.

Glad it's not just me then. I might try flashing the update to see if it improves any.
I'm on a stock Pixel 6 (has the 2nd Feb update) purchased from Google. My Driving Mode DnD settings are:
Behavior=Turn on DnD
Turn on Automatically=When driving is detected (none of the Bluetooth stuff is enabled)
Up until recently the feature which puts your phone automatically into DnD mode worked with reasonable reliability. Would startup within a minute of driving. The past several weeks it never goes into this mode automatically anymore. Typically when I'm in the car, the phone is set to WiFi=Off, usually BT=Off and unless I need GPS, location is also off. I've also tried it with location on and it still doesn't work.
I've had this feature work on my Pixel 3 with these same settings and system features set in the same way for years.
Any ideas? Are other people having this problem as well?
Just to update... have the April update and the DnD Driving Mode problem persists. The only thing I've found is that after a reboot it works again. And then a day or two later its broken again.
