does somebody know how to update my ubuntu touch on my xperia z1 compact? OTA misses, breaks off with the download with 50%

I need to rrot my gionee m5 mini , i tried all the methods without/with pc and nothing because when i try to unlock the bootloader or flash somthing via fastboot it's just stuck and do nothing i think it's a probleme with the boot.img , so anyone can help ?
