Question Issues with software? - Xiaomi Poco F4 GT / Redmi K50 Gaming

I got the 256/12 model F4 GT, MIUI 14.0.1 Android 13... Im facing the following issues....help? Please?
Speaking on the phone on speaker mode while playing CODM is very bad, they can't really hear me as it cuts out a lot unless I use headphones (even though I had no issues at all on galaxy S9 or even Honor 8x).
I sometimes get very bad lag while playing CODM. I close all apps then clear out everything using the pre-installed "boost speed" app to close apps and clear cache, and when that wasn't working tried different apps like ccleaner, and still the game lags unless I reboot (and even then sometimes that doesn't help, it still lags). I even lowered anti-aliasing settings and still have issues. (Even though I'm using a gameshark cooling fan, and this happens even before the phone heats up). Friends connected to the same network don't have issues so it's not a network issue.
Many times while on the phone while playing, trying to boost performance using the game turbo options will automatically tab out of the game and into the call (which cancels out the turbo). Trying to do it again will do the same: minimizes game and maximizes the call screen and cancels the turbo. This also happens after closing the game and trying to run the "boost speed" app to close other apps, before it's able to close background apps, it switches to the phone call. Keep in mind this doesn't always happen, but when it does, there's no way around it. I tried uninstalling updates to the caller app and reinstalling, no use.
Im considering romming to something else as I believe the software is very bad, but it's a 3 months old phone, I'd really rather not lose my warranty. Also I don't want to lose trigger button functionality. I was considering romming to the original black shark software but I'd really rather not rom for now. I tried reinstalling all the apps I'm having issues with and it didn't help.
Any ideas that could help? Would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Apps losing CPU focus or something

So this has been happening to me for a while now on multiple firmwares, but I just today started to realize how widespread the problem is/might be. The simplest example of what happens is that my games will randomly pause while I'm playing them. I don't mean freeze up--the game will lag for a sec, then it will actually be paused as if I hit the notification bar or something. Splashtop THD is also giving me problems. At first I thought it was the app, but others have been saying they don't get frequently dropped connections. For some reason my connection drops every few minutes even with great reception. Lastly, my wifi will randomly disconnect. I have great reception and speeds, but sometimes it will just stop working and I have to turn wifi off and back on again. I really feel like all 3 of these quirks are related, and I would love for them to all GO AWAY.
Anyone else having a similar experience?
try a reboot to see if it clears things up.
RYAN used REBOOT! TRANSFORMER PRIME is unaffected!
Have you forced GPU usage in developer options?
Not yet, will try tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
EDIT: did a few games of Fruit Ninja and it seems to be fixed, but I'm anxious to see if it takes care of my problem with splashtop. Thanks for the tip!
Don't know whether this is related or a separate problem, but I've been having weird behaviour with Android Market. If I click on an update notification to jump to the Market it will sometimes drop me back to home after a few seconds, often closing both Market and the last app I was in at the same time, they both disappear from the task list too. It goes the other way sometimes with Market randomly popping open without warning.

I have the same issue, though it mostly happens with the stock browser and Pulse.
After playing around with the force rendering setting for a while, I think the problem still persists but is much less frequent. I'll be so happy if nVidia ever gets their freaking kernel/drivers to work right -.-

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 always at 80% RAM usage / Google Now problems

So, it's been bothering me for a while but my now 2-year-and-2-month old Samsung Galaxy S3 always just runs incredibly slowly. Not only that, but I tend to burn through the battery easily within 6 hours. For the past year and a half, or so, I've had to resort to carrying around two spare batteries with me as it has a tendency to run out of charge in the middle of the day, let alone if I'm out at a music festival or something. I'm not a particulaly heavy user, as in I rarely play video games on my phone, nor do I really watch videos or ever use bluetooth. Occasionally I do use GPS or WiFi, but I try to keep them turned off when I'm not using them. I tend to use my phone for music when I'm in the car, or texting / whatsapp / occasional snapchatting, or checking Pulse News or my internet banking. I don't have a particularly huge amount of apps installed, I don't think. And I regularly hold the Home button, & press the close-all-apps button to make sure that they're not running in the background.
Yet, my phone is so laggy. It's like there's a constant 3 or 5, or even sometimes 10, second delay for whatever action you've initiated to actually occur. You'll press Messages, and it'll take about 4 seconds for my text messages to show up. You'll press Home, and it takes about 3 seconds for it to close. Facebook just took about 8 seconds to load. It doesn't sound alot, but it can be quite infuriating when you're trying to get things done in a hurry. It's even worse when apps are running in the background!
So, I got to check my running processes and there's just loads of things running that both don't appear to be running when I hold the Home button but also shouldn't be running because I haven't used them in forever. It appears my phone has approximately 850MB of RAM, yet my phone tends to ALWAYS run at around 725MB used (currently it's at 751MB, as can be seen in the screenshot attached). But when I do go through the list of things running, the right hand side it tells you how much RAM is supposedly being used. Yet if I total up all of the RAM being used by all of the apps that are apparently running, it only comes to about 300MB. So where the heck is this other 450MB of RAM being used?! THIS is what is slowing down my phone, I think.
Not only that, but there are things in this list that are running that shouldn't be running, & I don't understand why they are. Facebook, sure I can understand, in case you get a notification or something. But TuneIn Radio... I'm not listening to the radio at the moment, nor have I used the app in weeks (and my phone has been restarted numerous times since then), why is it running? S Voice, too? Video Hub? Google Play Music, I've never even used it. And then there's loads of things I haven't got a clue what they are, like Exchange Services, ELM Agent, SmartcardService, etc. Now I understand it's like a computer, where there are a number of background processes that have to run to make the OS work, but why are all these other apps running that I'm not using?!
-------------------------
Furthermore, I've started trying to use Google Now because I would like to get a Moto 360 (but I'll ask questions about that in a seperate thread). So, it seemed to work fine a few weeks ago. It gave me stocks, news updates, ETA to work or home, started remembering where I was parking. But now a few days ago I go back to it, after not using it for a little while, & it's all reset; Asking me to set it up again. So I did, & it mostly works but I can only ever seem to get the first "page" of cards up. When I click "More" at the bottom I just get an endless spinning circle & then the message "No Internet Connection - Content was last updated X minutes ago" appears as the top card, when infact I know I do have an internet connection. Exiting the app, closing it down, & then re-opening does not fix the issue either. I'm at a complete loss as to what to do.
Furthermore, it always asks me to "Improve my location: For more accurate location, let google search for Wi-Fi connections, even when Wi-Fi is off." I don't understand how this works, and what it's trying to do? If I turn it on, is that not going to be effectively the same as leaving my WiFi turned on at all times? Well, except without the benefits of being connected via WiFi. It's just going to drain my battery more, as leaving WiFi on usually does.
-------------------------
So tldr:
- Why is my RAM mysteriously using 450MB that I can't vouch for? Where is it going? How I stop it?
- Why is Google Now not letting my manually update the cards?
You are missing huge amounts of very basic information, search and read for what is safe to disable on stock rom, some things are vital others are optional.
If you leave everything running as default then 6hrs battery life is about right.

Redmi 3 Pro, first impressions: closing background apps, handsfree BT disconnecting

I had a Mi4i for a year. It is a great piece of hardware, much better than all my previous phones (3 sonys, 2 samsungs, 1 motorola). When CM came, it got overall good, nut just hardware.
I mean MIUI has some nice features, like permissions etc, but also there are huge flaws. Read on...
So I have for a Redmi 3 Pro for a week now...
The good:
Unlocked bootloader.
Build quality is superb. Screen is good (720p is perfect), overall feel is good as well. Battery holds 2-3 days easily.
Fingerprint reader works fine and quickly (under 1sec.), but you have to place your finger "correctly" and have no skin issues. Camera is not too bad but not as good as Mi4i.
Also it is very responsive and quick, much better than Mi4i and all other phones I had. Even when preloaded with many apps.
Backup/restore function works beautifully. Just fully set up your device and do a backup from MIUI menu. Then you can wipe it and load different (stock) ROM version, or rooted xiaomi.eu dev version. All apps are restored quickly and work well.
Mobile signature works well on both SIM cards. Which is great, as not all phones managed that. *cough* Samsung S4 mini duo *cough*.
The bad, same as Mi4i:
1. bluetooth earpiece will lose connection when talking. It drops connection or heavily distorts the audio randomly. But youtube audio plays well on earpiece. Probably something to do with sleep?
Also problems keeping connection to Pebble watch: notifications do not come randomly, sometimes it gets unlinked an is quite a task to get linked again.
2. Apps get closed in the background randomly. Skype, Viber, Hangouts, Whatsapp, email, Pebble, and even calendar... You just stop getting notifications. Extremely annoying when WhatsApp Web stops working every 15 minutes on your PC due to lost connection to your mobile.
I have investigated this further: allowed these apps to autostart, locked them in recents drawer, disabled memory optimizations in performance menu, etc. It improved a little, but still remains an issue.
3. Widgets crash randomly and after restart. For example non-stock clock widget and calendar widget. They just stop updating after an hour or so, also after restart. After another restart they completely disappear.
So all of these issues seem to be connected to some kind of power management issue perhaps? Is there a fix available?
On Mi4i, i have never found a fix and could not use bluetooth handsfree earpiece until CM support was added. On CM13 it works just fine, so definitely not a hardware issue.
Scared from MIUI's PM A clean Android supporting fingerprint scanner would unlock the phone's potential greatly.
I hope in CM12/13 with Pro features support soon.
2. On dev rom you can change Memory optimization settings from Developer options. If you lock app by pulling down from Recents it should not get easily closed.

Yes, I have tried that and still had problems.
Anyone had any success solving bluetooth issues? BT worked perfectly with CM on same device. Maybe it is possible to swap out some drivers?

Apps in RAM reloading after switching to them

Hi everyone,
I have the exynos S9+ model with the latest BTU firmware on it (STOCK without root). I have a strange issue, which I noticed long ago but now it started to bother me.
It seems that even if my apps are still stored in the ram they get reloaded when I switch to them after some time of not using them.
I do not use many different apps, 5-6 maximum, and I see this most often on the Samsung internet browser. Even if it is not cleared from the ram, when I switch to it my websites are reloading. I see this also on other apps like YouTube, and I am getting frustrated because I have 6 GB of ram in my phone which is not being used as it should.
Does anybody have a similar issue, or do you have some proposal for a fix? I was thinking that it is maybe due to the active developer settings so I tried turning them off, but it was still the same.
Just for info. I think that I figured out what my problem was. I was putting all apps to be in power save mode always.
Now I turned it off for some apps and will test. Just if someone faces the same problem so you know what may be causing it
Sorry for the topic.

Realme 3 pro: Realme UI Issues and bugs list

Please share the known Issues and bugs or whatever you faced with the Recent update RMX1851_11_C.02
i am facing mono sound instead of stereo..... is that a known issue? do anybody know about it?
Pubg experience is worst in realme ui
These are current list of issues I have comeacross on Realme3pro using RealmeUI - RMX1851_11_C.02
1. Issues in app clone functionality.
2. Lock the taskmenu apps not working
3. Color combination of realmeUI not good at all.
4. Default font on realmeUI was worest compared to colorOS.
5. SMS management not there.
6. Download manager not working as expected.
7. Notifications view is not clear.
8. No functionality to mark notifications as UNimportant
Here are some bugs I would like to inform :
1. Fingerprint sensor doesn't work sometimes while unlocking phone. I need to open manually by inputing passcode. Sensor starts working properly after that until a few hours later when it stops again.
2. Face unlock also shows same problem as fingerprint sensor.
3. Occasionally there is lag in the entire ui and even WhatsApp starts to stutter.
All of these bugs weren't present in Android 9, so they should be fixable I guess.
MAIN BUG
we cant unlock bootloader on realme ui!
Auto brightness is keep disabling automatically.
due to some unknown stimulator auto brightness kept disabling for me.... may be some game space settings....
The fingerprint sensor doesn't work properly.
Installed RealmeUI yesterday via ozip method. Seems good. Everything runs fine. But i want to disable/delete some bloatwares. But not able to do. Tried different methods but none of them are working. Can anyone guide?
Battery not getting charge over 96%. My battery is stuck on 96% from 18 mins.
Everytime I played CODM the game will crashing in the middle of the game.
Before I updated my Realme 3 pro to android 10 there is no problem about my phone. But now, everytime I played CODM or PUBGM the game will force stop or crashing in the middle of the game.
Is it real a update or downgrade or some sort of virus Realme has sent to Realme 3 pro phones, lots of bugs from fingerprint sensor to everything. Battery is most effected by this. before real UI Andriod 10 for me its easily give me full day backup. now its hardly giving me half day. Battery drain issue is really pathetic.
Hmm, i havent updated yet thanks to warnings from many peeps, but if you guys (who have issues) can, can you try master resetting and wiping your device clean after updating to q (OFCOURSE AFTER DOING A BACKUP OF EVERYTHING to a pc, coz sometimes even internal storage gets wiped!) and see if it solves your issues?, Also reboot to recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache just to be safe. Many times it actually does solve big bugs for me on these chinese brands big updates, i actually always do this for big updates and have noticed i face much less bugs than other users who dont.
I am too facing the same issue, battery is getting drained very fast after updating it to "REALME UI" (android 10) with normal use. 10% battery is getting drained in every single hour though mobile is in stand by mode.
No Play AFK anymore on game assistant in Game Space.. that sucks
I having a problem that i not sure is bug from Realme UI or Whatapps/FB Messenger with Realme Buds Air or the Bluetooth,
before i update to Realme Ui, the mic volume is very loud and clear in whatapps and FB messenger,
but once i updated, the volume for the Realme Bud air bcome very low on all the voice message i send in Whatapps and FB messenger,
and in Wechat, everything work fine, still loud & clear.... so i really not sure what is the problem.
And sometime, when i pair it, might work perfect, but still random for me , 10 times try, 1 time ok.
I also try to format the phone, and is still same.
Posted to Realme community, so far no reply
i got frozen screen.. when i restart the phone
I'm facing lot of issues after the update....Automatically Music player turns off frequently....keyboard getting freezes.....Call dropping everytime....voice getting blank in the middle most of the times. ...getting call from the same person while speaking with the same person......if i disconnect the call, it will not hang up immediately need to restart most of the times to come out of the current call....sometimes call duration is not calculating, its displaying calling screen even after call attended....double tap to wake up the screen is too slow
