AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS), we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q-S with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device-specific repositories.
If there are any bugs we will sort them out if it concerns our codebase. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

It comes with Aperture I think.

After 1 month with with AiCP and Lawnchair 12.1 dev alpha everything works fine with my Redmi 7A. Only GPS doesn't work properly! ...and it's pretty strange.
GPS test apps (e.g. GNSSLogger) do work.
But e.g. Google Maps doesn't. It would find a GPS location initially and then loose track after 30 seconds, eventhough it seems to be accessing GPS location (green indicator up in the nav bar) all the time.
Other location based apps can't find GPS at all and dont seem to be using the devices GPS either (no green indicator).
All apps have permission to use GPS.
Any idea what's wrong?

Well. I can't tell without proper logs. Also, which gapps package are you using?

I'm using NikGapps 13 ARM64 core ver. 20230311. Clean flash right after AiCP.
A dirty flash with the most recent version didn't help.
Seems like a problem with fused location provider and therefore with Gapps, That's because apps using GNSS work flawlessly. Other apps which are relying on other location providers fail to get or sustain gps location. GPS Fix app can get a gps location fix for 'Andoird GPS Provider'. For 'Andoid Network Provider' and 'Google Play Services' there's no fix
I'll try another Gapps package. Let's see...
What kind of log would you need? Sorry, no experience with logs so far, just very little...

I switched to BiTGApps-arm64-13.0.0-v2.2-CORE and now GPS works fine!

I'm on the new version now.
There are some bugs and glitches. Lock screen is "foggy". Some changes to the status bar wont apply, espacially battery symbol. The colors of QS and statusbar are a bit messed up and most important, I cant open recent apps screen in "2 buttons mode".

Bugs in latest version (18 stable) with a Redmi 7a seems to be
(fclean not dirty flashed the latest version)
Camera
can´t get photos saved to SD. No option here to change path.
Weather FIXED with newest Nik Gapps from june 9
(with Lawnchair or without Launcher) just weather / temperature appear on lockscreen not as a small symbol or info feed with widget. Tried different serviced and a fix location, none of that worked for me
Google Dialer FIXED with newest Nik Gapps from june 9
Message appears that app is not supported for the device. Calls in and out seems to work but the displayed message is annonying.
Used Nik Gapps Basic Version june 9
Had no problems with previous aicp rom. Also a Redmi 7a.
