So it's just like the title says. I restart my phone, and it will get to the animation and almost make it all the way through it. I'll see the "Google" which transitions into the Monet-colored "G". Normally that would be it. It would stay on the Monet G and a little progress bar would appear under the G until it booted to homescreen. But now it's doing this new thing where it will get to the Monet G, then start over again. Back to the whole "Google", then Monet transition to the "G". And I'm not sure why. I haven't done anything different. This just started to happen in the last few days that I've noticed. I don't restart my phone every day and I also don't stare at it while it's booting to see something I've seen a thousand times either. So at most it's been maybe a week since it's began. And I updated way before that. I'm on TQ1A.230105.002.
Other than it just being strange, I have no other issues. Guess I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Or if anyone knows the cause and how to fix it?

I'm just wondering if this is something that is supposed to happen. I remember installing an app when I first got the phone that was supposed to do just that, but I deleted it, and have also completely reset my phone since.
I don't recall it doing so initially, but that was also during week one and I have about the memory of the goldfish. If anyone could shed some light on this for me I would greatly appreciate it. It kinda makes pocket dialing a slight problem (I use my phone FAR too actively to set a pattern lock). Thanks.
Oops, meant for this to go in general. Side effect of posting right before bed.
Mods, please move this.
Mine does the exact same thing, did it right out of the box. It dosent do it for email just text messages. I have no clue if its a setting or not tho.
Yeah I think it's supposed to since there are no LED indicators =/
yah that's the default setting. i think you can change it but i'm not sure how. the one thing that bothers me is that texts make the screen turn on but messages from google talk don't.
Okay.
It's just frustrating.
I love the puzzle pieces, but I wish the actual lock screen would be better if there was more specific swipe requirements.
Maybe we can find someone who knows more about the system and figure out what's causing the light up and get it changed/removed.
It just doesn't get along very well with things like NoLED, it takes up to a minute for the app to initialize. and seems the delay is solely caused by the screen light up.
This is how it is supposed to work, guys.

I like so many other have recently received my gTablet. I have done nothing so far except to charge it and start it to become acquinted with the interface.
When I powered on this morning the system seemed to hang at the gTablet logo. After about 1 minute I pressed the power on button to power off. The next time I restarted I had to go through the whole startup sequence again.
The only thing I noticed that changed is the background. Before it was leaves falling on water, now I have a ocean view.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Thanks
Yes, this happened to me too. I updated it, and after two or three startup/shutdowns I got the setup wizard. I did not get this when I started it up the first time.
I then found that I needed to re-install flash. The wallpaper can be changed back by long pressing the screen and selecting Wallpapers -> Live Wallpapers.
Hey guys,
I've done my homework and searched for similar topics as these but so far none came close to my solution (correct me if otherwise). Recently I flashed to this ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1561705
from a stock ROM. Have done it a few times before and no problems have occurred. It's an MIUI rom and I decided to customize the theme a little. The themes section allows to change most of the detail ie fonts, status bar, home screen, lock screen, icons, boot animation.
And that's where it started, when I changed the boot animation, instead of using the default one. When I did a reboot after the switch, the usual boot logo was up, but then the screen turned pixelated like a CRT monitor/damaged LCD screen with colourful pixels. But then in boot into the new animation all fine, and has been ok since. The device boots fine, but I'm worried about that pixelated screen.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Please kindly advise Thanks!
anyone have any idea? x.x
You said it's been okay since? I wouldn't worry about it then. If you can't reproduce it, its not an issue.

well the corrupted screen still appears, but im still able to use my phone.. just wanted to know if anyone found a work around this or encountered something similar.. care to share?
I don't know if this is the right area but here it goes.
The area where the software buttons are located are not being affected by Twilight anymore. I don't know if the problem is with Twilight per se or something else, but I do know the problem appeared right after I tried using Muzei, I was messing around with it, seemed like a good app but I was enjoying the wallpaper I was previously using, but when I went back to it this glitch appeared, I'll link a screenshot of the phone that better illustrates it.

On the lock screen it seems to work without problems:

I know it's a minor bug but it's one of those little things that can be very annoying.
I've already tried clearing the data both from Twilight and Muzei, and removing and re-installing them, did not work.
I don't know if it matters but I messed around with the blur and dim settings on Muzei that first time I used it, although since clearing the data and re-installing it they are back to default. Also, the problem persists with other wallpapers, even with the Muzei ones.
Also, using a Motorola Moto G with KitKat, not rooted and stock rom and launcher.
Anyone ?
I really wish I wouldn't have to make a factory reset just because of this but it's really annoying.
Twilight has never covered the software buttons for me on my Moto G. I switched to EasyEyes and it seems to work fine, the brightness of the buttons doesn't seem to change but at least it doesn't look nearly as wrong anymore.
I've had the same thing appear today. Bar at bottom of screen with software buttons undimmed by twilight. No new apps installed & not using Muzei. Phone is Oneplus 2.
Ever since update to Android 6.0, my secondary screen quick contacts section just starts spinning rapidly as if it were loading. Sometimes it finally loads after a long while, other times I have to restart my phone. Anyone else seeing something similar?
