Question Bluetooth headphones not working A13 GSI - Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

Is there any way to fix bluetooth audio on A13 GSI, i am using PixelExperience Plus and using SM-T220
I connect the bluetooth earbuds but the sound still comes out of the speakers

At least Project Elixir (the one I'm running) has it working out of the box, you don't even have to touch PHH Treble Settings (although it does require enabling "Use alternate way to detect headsets" to fix the headphone jack). Did you try going there in Misc Features and pick MediaTek in Bluetooth Workarounds and/or perhaps enable Force-disable A2DP Offload and then reboot?

Tried all the combinations but nope, this tablet is such a pain in the arse

Yeah but even with a custom kernel that happens because of the device's SoC which is a low-end one so that's to be expected.

Did you enable any Phh Treble settings to configured your Bluetooth?

Its really easy flash the last pe 13 gsi update and in phh treble settings<Misc settings and enable "Use System Wide BT HAL"

Tried many things gave up im now on stock A13 but with everything possible disabled using magisk disabler module thingy and works much better than gsi tbh, only thing couldnt remove knox stuff

On project elixir, I have to connect my headphones twice. Go to misc elixir settings, toggle mediatek workarounds off and on, and then reconnect bt headphones. Then it works until I disconnect them again

[CLOSED] Official CM10.1 Nightlies!

I can't even believe it!
in the same day official cm10.1 for my phone (note ii) and the nexus q!
...
Enjoy!
Yeah it looks great. It breaks the original functionally though. Unfortunately, that's a deal breaker for me
The maintainer said it will probably need an official 4.2 Bluetooth stack release from Google to work.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Yes def need to find a way to add thwe original functionality back to it maybe as an app that can be launched
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Works amazing the only thing i'm having problems with is connecting a mass storage usb hard drive with stick mount, for some reason I cannot get it to read the data, other than that, this is the absolutely perfect ROM for this device.
Absolutely and a way to control the device remotely would really help me on my setup. I don't have a monitor hooked up.
Great to see development continue.

I was really excited when I heard CM released a build for the Q but was sad to learn it breaks functionality. If any one has any success using apps on the device such as netflix but retaining the Q's original functionality please share how you achieved this. :highfive:

Quantum Singularity ROM allowed this, but the problem it didn't include statusbar, navbar and activated backgrounds, which were the things I was most waiting for, so I've switched to CM10.1. I'm sure in due time they will have a way to implement the features that the Q originally had, alongside CM10.1
With the OTA update center of CM10.1, it's amazing, i have mouse/keyboard connected wireless. Finally can use the Q the way I wanted to from the beginning.
Only things broken for me on the 2nd nightly right now are:
-Play store
-USB mass storage
-chrome browser doesn't work?
-volume control with Q and Keyboard don't work
Play store works fine for me

cool i got play store working and google sign in no problem now with gapps.
Im trying to hook up a bluetooth to act as a mic for skype calls etc and google search with no luck so far..
and I still can't get the chrome browser to function. but the stock browser works fine for now
and also because a lot of the default Nexus Q functionality is missing I can't control the audio output to be analog/hdmi/optical, so I can only get HDMI right now. I was using analog to go to a non powered sub before for better sound

yes, if you are rooted. You can find it in /system/media directory. Simply replace it with an empty file.
Or if you have Xposed, gravity box can do it for you (maybe also other modules can)

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm not yet rooted, but this sounds like another reason to do so.
I can replace the /system/media file easily enough. I notice http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.marshmallow.gravitybox says that Gravity Box doesn't work with Xperia roms?

Yes the first post scares you but the author actively supports (some) vendor stock roms (look at the changelog https://github.com/GravityBox/GravityBox/blob/marshmallow/CHANGELOG.txt ). The module works very well on Xperia rom too, in the "power off menu & led" section you can disable a variety of sounds and leds.
Never mind this reply, reading fail.

[ALL VARIANTS] ViPER4Android [ZIP][FLASHABLE]

Disclaimer: I will take no responsibility if flashing this zip somehow causes you to go deaf, hurts your cat, noise complaints from your neighbors, anti-social behavior, getting hit by a bus, your grandmother begins twerking, broken windows and/or any other imaginable royally screwed possibility.
Q&A: Yes, the Hi-Fi Quad Dac functions with ViPER4Android.
Credits: @zhuhang for ViPER4Android FX/XHiFI, and @jcadduono for working out the root shell exploit and hooking us up with TWRP.
Features: Systemwide ViPER4Android FX 2.3.4.0 (higher audio processing) and ViPER4Android XHiFi.
Installation steps:
1) Make sure you're rooted and have TWRP installed.
2) Install BusyBox, preferably to /system/xbin (otherwise XHiFi will not work, only FX will).
3) Navigate to /vendor/etc (/system/vendor/etc) and delete audio_effects.conf. ZIP has been updated to delete the file.
4) Flash the attached zip.
5) Ignore the version typo while flashing the provided zip. ZIP has been updated to correct this.
6) Ignore the the su binary warning in XHiFi.
7) Optional: Active High Impedance mode by following my guide in the Guides, News & Discussion forum. // http://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/guide-impedance-mode-activation-t3507227
8) Profit???
Any chance we can get a flashable ARISE zip or a test try from someone willing to try it? If Viper4Android works, and functions 100%, then chances are we can probably use ARISE. Would love to get a definitive on this subnect either way.

I flashed ARISE+Sound+Systems+Deuteronomy+2.3.3 and it sounds awesome. Only problem I'm having (haven't tried bluetooth yet) is that it stops processing when I either manually change tracks (doesn't stop when it goes to a song by itself) or when I alternate between players (spotify >usb audioplayer pro or vice versa). I have to toggle master power off/on to restart it.
Wonder what the fix would be for that?
Flashed file in OP+Poweramp Latest Beta. Sounds awesome

Not that I know of. As far as editing the paths it should be the same plus the DAC lines. I've done it to my Note 7. I'll mess around with it and get back to you.
Anyone have any issues with this one besides bluetooth not working?
I flashed Viper4Arise a few days ago and the processing cuts off and on. When it stops I have to reboot to make it work again.

I do not recommend though, I've tested it a bit, and in terms of apps you can't really install much, since most of the apps install but the crash right after XD.
Now seriously if this is your main device i don't recommend it, Bluetooth stops working sometimes and it's not stable when connected to sound stuff...No stable music no good
Plus there's some settings issues, nfc works well tho, play services sometimes stop, i don't recommend restoring from cloud or a local backup otherwise It will have serious problems
like play services rebooting XD

Sorry, I misspelled
Off late I had installed it.. AOSP, LOS and RR... all three of them and all of them booted very well.
On LOS I had flashed Gapps and Su as well and all worked well too.
Performance is really very good and I had not faced any FCs. All google apps worked well too...
The only thing I didn't like was the status bar.. Its not really optimized or tuned for the Notch and there is no option to get rid of the notch the way you can in EMUI.
The status bar with looks ugly and takes away the fun to use it phone.
Camera on the other hand is not so good and lacks the features of EMUI... e.g. beauty mode, color filters, editing, bokeh effect, etc.. etc.. and made me dissatisfied.
I am hoping that soon we will have a special tuned version for P20 Lite and holding reflashing till that time.
Hope it helps to the new flashers to make up their mind
Thanks
has anyone made google play to download apps ??

Anyone tested this? Fast? Good Battery?
Since it's not in the not working list but also not in the working list I'll ask even though I basically know the answer already.
Is VoLTE/WiFi or IMS services working on 17.1? It's quite literally the only reason I'm still on stock based as in the office building I work there's limited 3G reception and I usually rely on VoWiFi.
I wonder if VpFX is working with this rom, anybody tried viper?

Ok, I found a bug: it isn't possible to hide navbar and notification bar. If xou select this option, the app lineageos setup crashed. Extended desktop doesn't work.
Btw. Is it possible to get dark theming for telefon, messager, contacts app? Maybe a other theming engine like substratum or hexinstaller?

1 - seems to be an issue with lineage at the moment as far as we can tell. (aswell as a few other bugs in their trees at the moment)
2+3 - works fine for me and all the other n9/s9/s9+ users of this rom on telegram, mailbox set the correct number by default for me and i can edit it aswell just tried, loudspeaker/bluetooth speaker is working fine for calling.
Feel free to share logcat if possible, would be interesting to see what has broken it on your setup and not for anyone else, thanks
edit -
just saw you edited your post and removed 2+3, glad you got it sorted.
And whats about dark theming in telefon, sms, contacts app? Any suggestions?

No clue, wait for lineage to update them in their repos i guess, i don't like 3rd party theming apps.
I am using google contacts and messages, but keeping the stock dialer for native call recording.
Seems pretty sweet but Android Auto is kind of important. You think a fix is possible?
Why is it not mentioned in the instructions that Flashable_G96XF_Firmware_TWRP_DTAD_r2.zip is needed to be able to boot? Without it, a boot loop occurs.
Also, "Hey Google" isn't working properly. It turns itself off after enabling it. I used Open GApps nano. Someone got it working?

If you read, you can see I clearly tell you that Q BL is required. A lot of people are unable to read in 2020 it seems.
Hey Google is working fine feel free to jump on to telegram if you are having issues.

I previously flashed BL_G960FXXU7DTB4.zip from the Telegram channel before flashing the ROM itself. I see that there's now a new BL on the channel: DTAA instead of DTB4. IDK if flashing the DTB4 BL instead of DTAA could've been the reason I wasn't able to boot earlier without flashing the firmware zip.
I'd rather not and discuss it here. When I toggle the "Hey Google" switch on, go back a page to Assistant settings and go back to Assistant Devices > Phone again, the switch is turned off. Even during the time the switch stays on if I stay on the page, Hey Google can't be triggered.
