Hello.
I want to remove a virus from a gamecube rom ( or is that possible ), on dolphin emulator , is there any way to do it ?
Why would you knowingly load a virus? Once loaded it could download even worse playmates.
Try this.

You may remove one only to have other trojans waiting.
Nuke it and reload a clean rom.
Zero fill the drive first.

How can you be sure you have caught a virus?
If the ROM in question really contains a virus then why not simply destroy the ROM?
FYI:
A computer virus is a program or piece of code designed to damage your computer by corrupting system files, wasting resources, destroying data or otherwise being a nuisance.
Viruses are unique from other forms of malware in that they are self-replicating - capable of copying themselves across files or other computers without a user's consent.

Ok, I have a thunderbolt so I decided to post this question here:
I really want to understand what language you guys are talking about when it comes to; kernel, adb, radios, etc.....
I do get confused on those and want to learn the vocab for the android. Point me to the right direction. thanks.
I'm doing these from what I've read. I really only understand half the stuff that is discussed here, but this is my best understanding.
Kernel: Not really sure how to explain it, but gives the operating system a base to work from as i understand it.
Radio: Is what interfaces the operating system with the network.
adb: adobe debugging bridge. There are several posts describing that in great depth.
johnny, wikipedia is a man's best friend
i can't post the link, but if you search for "kernel (computing), you'll find the article and the first paragraph explains it all....there's a nice diagram too lol
good luck!
Wait, you mean you can use the interwebs to look up information on things we want to know more about!?

I think you mean android debugging bridge. It's basically a framework you can install on your computer that can use to issue commands to your phone. you can use it to sideload apps, where you download the apps install file (apk) to your computer and then use adb commands to install it on your phone, thereby getting around any blocks verizon has put on the android market.

I want to give a lot of thanks to @::indie:: for making the best ROM I used on my Galaxy Note II. However, it's seems like there is some "safety" problems in this ROM.
I just flashed it yesterday (after downloaded it from the original link in this thread), after using TrustGo Mobile Security to scan (well, prevent malwares and ****), it says that there's some malwares who, likely, collect info from my SMS and Skype accounts. Like this :

Oh, and the screenshot about collecting my SMS, I forgot to take a screenshot, and also, since I can't remove Messages (who can, anyways ?), I decided to ignore that, but i'm a little bit nervous about that, too. What is this ? Is it safe to ignore like that ?
Sorry for my poor English, hope you all can understand what I wrote

Hello, the main problem is that any app using advanced graphics is crashing on me, so I decided to make a test and downloaded OpenGL ES 2.0 Demo to try.
And the result that I get was unbelievable, there's a gallery of my screenshots.

As for my phone, I already had a long story with it, there's the thread, where you can get all the info on the other site, but I'm not able to post links yet, but if you Google " Screwed up my G+ K3" you can find it.
If anyone can help me to get the GPU to work properly, I would be superthankful, I am already starting to lose my mind.
Seems like your GPU is damaged.

Can this be a result of bad drivers or something? I don't really know much about drivers on Android, if there are even some. There's a firmware for another GPU installed, so it might be the cause, but I got no idea how to fix it.

Very VERY likely if it was anything along those lines it would not be general user serviceable by any means.

Well, if I'm getting it right, there's actually nothing to do it that just by my hands then. Since the firmware thinks, that there's another CPU and GPU installed, would flashing to the other firmware (some MT6572 one) work? I had a bad time when trying to port another firmware to it, it didn't boot or I just wasn't able to flash it - was getting errors.
HI all, does anyone know of an app that works in the same way as the built in google backup works, except it saves to a local pc over wifi on a schedule?
The 15Gb cloud space is nowhere near enough for me but I have a server with plenty of space, so makes sense to use that.
I have seen a few apps that backup media, but I really want everything backed up (sms, app data, wifi passwords etc)
Is this even possible with a 3rd party app? My phone is a Honor View, The official huawei app (hicare) does most of them but needs the device to be plugged in via USB and I don't think it will let me restore to a non huaewi phone in the future.
Edit: forgot to mention, locked bootloader so not rootable

Yeah I'm afraid the backup solution you were searching for is one who needs root. But I can suggest something else. You can transfer the data you have on your drive (files other than backups) on your server, it will leave room for backups.
Otherwise you may wanna consider rooting, if it is possible with this Huawei model (that's why I hate Huawei, but don't get me started on that lol)
Have a good day
@flamery
1. No root mode is required to create a backup
2. Hint: Backup to an external SD-card. Use Super Backup app. It's a free-of-charge app.

BTW: To root device's Android its bootloader must not be unlocked. Has nothing to do with each other.
Thanks both I will check it out!
Although I just discovered something interesting, if you change the setting in Google photos from original quality to high quality they don't count toward the 15Gb quota so I just freed up a lot of space.
please help me I have been trying solutions for 2 months but nothing works. I also tried to do
1 go to wipe
2 go to advanced wipe
3 select date
4 repair or change flie system
5 change flile system ext 2
6 then replace ext 4
but it does not work. when i try to boot in to the system it goes into an infinite loading screen. please HELP (I used google translator because my english sucks)
@Boyko99
Either boot-loader broken or Android system corrupted. Re-flash Stock ROM.
I don't know if my answer came to you so I'll rewrite it

@Boyko99
Because you avoided to name phone's brand/model in this thread's title you can't really get advised.
Anyway:
Assumed these requirements
got fulfilled, the USB-driver suitable to your phone is installed on PC,
then the basic steps to perform are
1) Unlock phone's boot-loader, if not done yet
2) flash the ROM
@jwoegerbauer
I can't start the phone so I don't know how to do it I'm stuck in twrp because if I try to turn it on it goes into a loop
@Boyko99
My POV:
This is the price that people who think they must improve (?) phone's Android, will say put up a better (?) ROM / Recovery than that what gets pre-installed by OEM/Carrier ( in their R&D department there are certainly no idiots sitting around ), pay.
@jwoegerbauer
i have a note 3 its the worts rom of all
