My Bip 3 Pro is not receiving phone and sms notifications. I verified that Zepp was running in the background, it's connected via bluetooth, all notifications were enabled, turned the phone on/off, turned the watch on/off, reinstalled the Zepp app. I still can't receive notifications. The App is on an Android phone. What else can I try?

So for my Venmo app, I am not receiving any notifications.
When I first downloaded the app, it worked fine. I got sick of the notifications and turned them off (from inside the app, not the app manager). I have since turned them back on and still never receive notifications. When I select the ringtone, it doesn't play the sample sound, it just accepts it. I double checked that push notifications is enabled from the app manager. Any ideas?
Hello ,
I have already read similar threads for this problem but still cannot fix my problem .
Only calls notifications works, it does not show me notifications from facebook , gmail, viber etc , I've already tried unpairing and pairing again with the phone, factory reset and uninstalling and reinstalling the amazfit watch app on the phone but nothing changed.
I checked the app blacklist and everything is enabled , this issue starts today , the previous weeks the watch works fine
Anyone can help me please?

Obviously I did restart my phone plenty of times
UPDATE:
After many restarts of my phone, 3-4 factory resets, and unistall - reinstall the amazfit app at least 2 times. It seems that the watch works fine again !
I dont know the problem is fixed (hopefully wont happen again) but just restarting your phone may fix the problem (may not work after the first restart, keep restarting your phone)
I also contacted amazfit to inform them , and they told me the same things
I am posting their answer:
If you can see them from the notification bar but can't see them through your watch, please check the following steps to troubleshoot your issue.
1) Check if you enabled the "silent mode" on the watch. If you enabled silent mode, you can't receive any notifications at all.
2) Enable the notification in the app
On the home screen of the Amazfit Watch app, select Notification Settings.
Tap the toggle switch to enable or disable push notification on your watch.
To enable or disable specific notifications, select App blacklist settings.
If you still can't receive the notification, please try the following:
Android
1: Go to settings --> manage apps' battery usage --> choose apps. From there, pick all the apps you want to receive push notifications and select "No restrictions."
2: Go to settings --> permissions --> autostart. From there, pick the apps you want to receive notifications, and toggle the switch to turn it on.
3: Lock the app in the "recent apps"/ "app overview" plane. Do so by first opening the apps, then press the "recent apps/overview button" . From there, find the app you want to receive notifications, pull down on it to "lock it", so it never gets cleared.
Hopefully this might help someone in the future
I think we need an update. Nothing of all them works for me.
I also have the same problem, watch only alerts me of the incoming call, no other notifications are pushed to amazfit pace...
Hello,
I'm testing Amazfit Bip since yesterday. To receive notifications I'm using Notify & Fitness for Amazfit. It works fine, but problem appears after reconnecting the watch. I mean - Amazfit losts the connection (for example if it's too far from the phone), somebody calls / sends a message, then Amazfit receives the connection back with the phone and shows no new notification. When it's connected again I don't get notifications for messages/calls received when connection was lost. The same is with Mi Fit application. Do you have any idea how to solve it?

What firmware is on your watch?

V0.1.1.36
Only using third party apps, mostly paid ones. Some can detect that you lost connection and send the notification once the watch is connected. For instance, Notify & Fitness on PlasyStore.
you can try alert bridge on playstore, which is also free. Is not customizable as notify o similar apps (which however need to be paid), but if you don't pretend too much on notifications side, it does what you're looking for. give it a try
Hi.
After the latest updates, i can't get to solve the problems with the notifications from phone to watch. I cannot get SMS or email notifications. Only calls.
If i test notifications in amazfit app, all five test cases work (there is no SMS test).
I deleted the app and factory reset the watch. No difference. Now i also lost all my records. I thought they were in cloud. Now my watch also won't synchronize sleep data. App shows only heart rate, and walk, but no sleep. On watch i can see my sleep data.
Any idea?
Thanks.
It seems it was MIUI update problems. I solved notification problem with:
On the phone go to Settings, Passwords & Security, Privacy, Special app access, Notification access. In the list turn off Xiaomi service framework then turn it back on again, and reboot the phone. Maybe reboot once with it disabled and enabled.
Sleep data still isn't synched and it seems i lost all of my records data (after factory reset).
I have had an Amazfit Bip and I have a problem with notifications on the device.
I get a message on whatsapp, for example, and the beep keeps repeating many times. Sometimes it repeats 2 to 3 times the moment I receive the 1st message, after a few minutes, I get the same warning again, after 1 or 2 hours it repeats again! I hate this! I just want to receive a notification and not keep getting warnings about the same message (which has not yet been read).
Grateful.

If you're running Android, the Notify & Fitness app has settings that display only the last notification instead of the entire notification chain.
They recommend turning it on for "chat/messages/grouped notifications (suggested for Whatsapp, Telegram, email, ...)"
I don't know if the MiFit or AmazFit apps have a similar setting.
