Hi all,
Been using Zenfone 6 flip for a few years now and managed to enable T-mobile VoWiFi on it using adb and online guides and it has been working fairly well. Was waiting for Zenfone 9 flip to upgrade, but it looks like ASUS has dropped the flip camera [permanently?] and my only upgrade option now is Zenfone 8 flip which is not actually sold in US, nor is officially supported by any US carrier. VoWiFi is a must for me as phone reception inside my building is exactly zero. Can someone comment if they have been successful in enabling VoLTE and VoWiFi on Zenfone 8 flip on T-mobile (using adb or otherwise)?

Hey guys, i have a redmi note 5. That i bought in france from fnac (the biggest electrical retailer here)
I should have lte 4g+ with my sim, i have tested on a friends phone, but i only get 4g on my phone.
I have been trying to look up what to do to fix this problem but i'm lost (not great with phones)
From what i have read it is to do with the bands that are active in different countries.....
Thanks for any help you can give <3
From what i know he Redmi 5 plus (Vince) doenst have the band 20 and 28 needed to 4g+.
Only the Note 5 Pro. (Whyred)
I recently picked up a new Redmi Note 9 Pro and use it with T-Mobile in the USA. I have enabled the option for VoLTE and Wifi Calling as I have with all my other Xoaomi phones...however, this phone will not connect to VoLTE.
Is this something that can be pushed out as a software update? It has identical bands as several of my other Xoaomi devices, and they connect to VoLTE just fine.
Thanks for the help.
Guys olease help me, i bought this phone 3 weeks ago and i realised that my girlfriend in same places have better LTE than me, often i dont even have LTE and she does. She have Samsung Galaxy S50 i have Redmi Note 9 Pro 128GB bought in Poland and i live also in Poland. I figured out that i probably dont have 800 MHZ LTE and she does, can it be problem? How i can fix it and connect through my phone to 800mHZ... I found that global version of my phone have this freqneucy and mine probably have not, is it true? Really they can sold me in famous polish shop phone with no having basic 800 MHz lte? Cant believe...
I post here screenshot with my phone info, thanks for any help.
Have you bought your phone in India? If not, you HAVE the global version.
Doea your phone have 64MP cam and NFC? Then you have the Joyeuse, which IS the global Note 9 Pro.
If your phone has 48MP back cam and no NFC, it is the INDIAN "Note 9 Pro" which is the same as the globla Note 9s.
By the way, both, 9s and 9 Pro, has LTE Band 20 (800MHZ).
Does your provider feature LTE?
Does your contract have LTE inclusive?
If so, is your phone set up to use LTE Band in the settings?
I based in the US and I am looking for a new phone, the lack of choice here is bad. Have you used this phone on Tmobile in the USA? Does this support Wifi Calling and Volte?

I have the EU/NA variant (DN2103) and I'm using it on T-Mobile in the USA. There are no options for Wifi calling or Volte and I'm unable to use any dialer codes to activate them. However, I do have good LTE service and everything works as expected. There are a lot of people in other countries on the OnePlus forums complaining at VoLTE not being supported and supposedly it has to be enabled for various carries by OnePlus. I'm hoping the Android 12 update will enable Wifi Calling and VoLTE, as it IS reportedly working on certain carriers in other countries.
That's disappointing, I had a Chinese version of the OnePlus 7 (Red!) for a brief period. I was surprised wifi call was working with it.

I'm suprised also. My OnePlus 6, 7 Pro and 7T all supported WIFI calling on T-Mobile, BUT they were all sold in the USA. The Nord 2 is not meant for USA consumption, so I have a feeling that's why it doesn't support wifi calling and VoLTE here.
Its still strange that i hadnthe chinese editon of the op7 had wifi calling working and the nord 2 doesnt, neither phone was for the US, maybe tmobile changed something

do you still experience the same? VoLTE is still not supported? What about 5G? Is it working fine on T-Mobile?
What data speed do you have?
I'm traveling to the US soon, and i find out most companies like t-mobile verizo and at&t don't list the phone as compatible with their networks, and more over, when putting the IMEI on those websites, it just says not compatible.. any of you has any experience in the US with this specific phone? Global model ofc
I have it here in the US and I use t-mobile. I do not get good service and do not have VOLTE or VOWIFI. I did get missed calls time to time but it still worked.
The Realme GT2 PRO has compatibility issues with T-Mobile. I'm currently using mint mobile which is an mvno of T-Mobile and the service is pretty bad. In fact mint mobile says that the Realme GT2 pro is not compatible although it does work... barely. Unfortunately I had to buy Pixel 7 for use at work which is fine because it takes so long to charge that phone I end up using the GT2 pro at night for media and gaming. It's not a band issue as much as US carriers simply don't want to status the software.
Hopefully this will change soon. I haven't tried an att mvno but that's definitely on my to do list as the 5G and 4G band compatibility is better than T-Mobile.
