So yesterday morning I woke up to this ...

I've taken the phone to a local repair shop. The tech said he'd seen something similar before. He tried repeatedly to do a factory reset, it did not work. He suspected the motherboard was the issue. He told me to send the phone in for warranty, or else it would be around $700 CAD for him to do the repairs. It is not on warranty. I then talked to my service provider about upgrading. This is how I got the phone originally. I have 4 months left on my plan. They said it would be roughly $600 in fees to upgrade early, new plan fees on top of that. Both of these costs are not options for me. I was able to set up my old S10e in the meantime.
My plan, after all this, was to bide my time with the S10e until the end of my contract. However, I decided to try fixing my S21 again. I was trying to get to the root menu to reset it. That didn't work. It would make it to 25%, stop, crash, then restart the phone only to go back to the first image.
But then I started trying other combinations of buttons, and I got here ...
And this screen led me to this forum. And this leads to my question. Is there hope for my S21?

Mine has a completely dead row of pixels so I called in to RMA today. I got a RMA number quick however they weren't clear on what to send. I asked if I should send in the accessories along with the tablet and the person on the other line gave me a pretty vague answer and said that she would because they were probably going to send me a new tablet. I'm afraid that if I don't send in the accessories they won't accept my RMA or that if I do they might just send me a tablet alone without any accessories. Anyone had any experience?
Well...
Guess I'll be the guinea pig . Just shipped the tablet off to their RMA department which is located in California. I made sure to flash the ROM and recovery back to stock before I shipped it. For anyone who's wondering what was wrong with my tablet I've attached a picture. That line in the middle is an entire row of semi-dead pixels. Displays blue and green fine but nothing else. Only had it for around two weeks too . So far the RMA process has been pleasant. I was able to get an RMA number within minutes of calling. Wish I didn't have to pay for shipping ($14 from Arkansas to Cali) but oh well. Now I play the waiting game.

Hi,
Few days ago I noticed that when I wanted to accept or cancelled some pop-ups, or when I was writting I had no more the accuracy I used to.
First I thought it should be an ICS issue, but then I realized that this lack of accuracy was only on a specific zone of the screen, so I decided to activate one of the Developer options, the Pointer location one, to asure it was a concrete zone and this is what I found out:

As you can see, there's a zone where you can drag(sometimes) but, as it is shown in the last picture, instead of one single touch it makes to right out of the zone.
I have to say that the mobile hasn't suffered any falls nor hits.
So I'd like to know if anyone else has suffered this problem or if someone has any possible solution.
If not, I'm afraid I'll have to send it to repair so I take advantage of the thread to ask if someone knows if I'll have trouble to send it because I bought it to a swiss guy(which sent me the bill too) and I'm from Spain...
Any help is grateful,
greetings!
P.S: The last thing I flashed or installed was days before this started to happen
Bringing it up...
hello everyone,
it looks like i'm facing real problem here
it started when that mobile fell on the ground it had some cracks on the screen and then when i turned the power on again it appeared....
when i leave the mobile and the screen go black for about 10 minutes (standby mode ) the whole mobile powers off and i have to remove the battery and put it on again to power it on but if i left the mobile screen goes black with a music on then it doesn't do that it works normally
that problem disappeared for 5 months after that came back again few days ago and do the same
so anyone have any idea what is that !!?
Try Reflashing software ...
or probably get it repaired by qualified personnel since there appears to be loose contact ...
ofcourse if your phone has the problem as you suggested in title then it's better off contacting these guys ...they are allegedly pro at such stuff

sorry... couldn't resist the reference ...
That is a hardware problem. You have no choice but to get it repaired. The symptoms clearly state that this has nothing to do with software. I am sorry.
thanks guys for helping i tried to reflash it but nothing happened so it's a hardware problem
guess i'm gonna repair it anyway
thanks alot for concerning
I have purchased this phone and arrived today with a known fault, limited service,no signal. The phone is cheap and boxed in mint condition. First thing i did was get imei number from box and phone and contacted htc who confirmed unlocked, and my own research, not barred. I was hoping to be able to replace the sim reader to cure fault but now i am told because the sim card is read,i.e comes up 3 in the settings but still no signal, then it cant be a fault with the sim reader. Also tied EE and that tries to read and get signal, then goes off with no signal. I tried a factory reset, which works within the settings, but impossible to get to boot menu using power, volume down,. i will try and upload a picture of box as the picture is somewhat different to the one shown prior to buying and looks brown instead of gold. Also i downloaded antutu officer which confirmed genuine. HTC said its genuine although registered in hong kong and shipped over here. Is it possible for an imei clone or anything i can check before i try and claim a return? cheers

Well long story short, went to the market today and a lady stopped me saying, hi sir, phone? Phone? Samsung s9 only £300 and I say noooooo and she was pressing, I usually don't buy any phones from the market but was thinking well let's try and see, from outside it sort of looked to me like s9 but only £300? Probably stolen or something?, I asked if it wasn't stollen and woman said of course it wasn't. I said but I got only £100 on me and she said that's OK £100 will do.
Bought it and brought it back home and installed system panel and see it ain't no s9 but some kind of clone?
Well it says quad core around 2.4 ghz 4gb ram and 60 gb storage. I was thinking of rooting this phone but not sure is it even possible?
I mean to install twrp?
Tried to access odin mode but no go
All I can access is fastboot
Any advice?
