Hey guys need some help. I installed the Taskbar by ArtieQ and my volume control screen changed from the stock screen to a generic screen. Any advice on how to get the stock volume screen back. I like the taskbar icons but not crazy about the generic looking screen. The stock looks so much cleaner. Any suggestions on another volume screen that looks better would be cool also. Thanks guys
Check out the pics.
Is anyone else having issues with the volume level on their notifications. I have checked all the settings under notifications and the volume is max, plus changed to different tones. But most of the time I hear no sound when a text comes in. I have not installed that many apps or rooted the phone yet. Am I missing something. It seems to come back after restart but doesnt last long. It worked great for the first week.
with the cm7 rom , the toggle of volume/silent does not work on the notificiation bar, i can like turn on the volume, but cant turn it off from the notification volume toggle, thanks guys
I get similar issues with my brightness. It's a glitch, it works some times, but not every time. You can hold down the toggle to get to the settings page for that setting, and manually do it via that.
Hello everyone !
I recently acquired a honor 5X and updated it to Marshmallow today. Everything was and is great, as expected. However, I have two little complains:
The first one, that already existed in Lollipop, is the notification volume issue. When I select a notification tone, the volume is normal, but when i actually receive a real notification, the volume is way to hard (it is like le notification volume is always several steps further than the ringtone one). I already tried one or two 3rd party apps in order to manually lower this volume but it didn't work and it is quite annoying.
The second one appeared with the Marshmallow update and is quite simple: whenever i set a wallpaper, it is dimmed like it would be on some lockscreen. At first I thought it was Nova Launcher, but even on Huawei Home, same issue.
I am looking forward to a solution. Anyway, this phone is amazing, especially when you realise how cheap it is.
Thanks !
Hi there,
I am currently using RRemix 5.7.4 on my Redmi Note 2 Prime and I am quite satisfied. Only 2 things I'd like to change:
One is the size the keyboard takes when shown on screen - this is quite big and I'd like to get it smaller.
The other thing is the volume of notifications and system sounds. For notification I'd like to have a seamless way to adjust the volume since the first possible position I can set the volume bar on is already quite loud for my current notification tone. Regarding the system sounds (i.e. connecting/disconnecting charger) - those cannot be adjusted by their volume at all. How can I change this?
Thank you in advance for a short reply!
Bye
