It is extremely simple.
Technically, you could simply create your own wallpaper. With the correct dimensions, each swipe would place a new background on the screen. That may take some time to figure out, but it would make it to where you wouldn't have to have a Live wallpaper eating up your battery, you could have a static image that just aligns itself perfectly.
If someone has tried this, and I'm completely wrong, do tell!

Just keep messing around with it... I figured it out first try didn't mess with anything else beside transitions. Just chose one at a time, starting with 1. No sarcasm was intended, im honestly trying to help you get it workin
its true this thing will kill your battery life! but its the only way i've found to do it. it is pretty simple my little sister figured it out. in settings choose "add individual settings" for however many screens you have. (it numbers the screens from left to right). then change each screens picture by choosing each "screen # settings" > "picture source" > "single picture" find the picture you want and voila
This app is driving me mad. For real. I've done as shown in those screenshots, but there's no scrolling between screens. It's stuck at the SECOND screen/pic.
What launcher are you using? And how many home screens?
Damn it, I WILL make this work!

What launcher are you using? Most of the home launchers on the Market have a setting to enable or disable wallpaper scrolling. Make sure Wallpaper scrolling is enabled in your home launcher before messing with the Multi-picture Live Wallpaper.

Old thread but had to say thanks and spread the word. No more scrolling wallpaper! I've been searching and searching, lots of other apps that do this but they eat battery, this doesn't! Take any 480x800 wallpaper and it will set it perfectly! It will also crop/resize for you although I prefer using Irfanview on the PC for that. Yes it's adware but ads only appear in settings. Paid version is also available.
Yes old thread however, try sslauncher, you can set different wallpapers per screen and lots of other things.

I'm sure there are other apps out there for this, but this was the one I stumbled across. Allows you to set a scrollable (or non-scrollable) wall paper without having to crop it with the Honeycomb wallpaper cropper.
Got rid of a lot of headaches very quickly.

I thought so as well at first, but I have the Transformer weather widget and its not as small and compact as his in the screenshot. So unless he found a way to resize - thats something different.
I'm curious as well what those widgets are.

These are from the Asus transformer. You can find them in the apps and themes section. I can upload the wallpaper, I think it is Vancouver.
Install the weather app as you would normally do. I used rootexplorer to make a backup of /system/app/DeskClock.apk and copied the new deskclock.apk into the same dir. The picture may not cover the entire screen in portrait mode.

Anyone else having issues with WW?
My wallpapers periodically get cut off with the no scroll function on, leaving half the home screen black. WW would be the perfect solution for setting wallpapers on tablet if this worked

I just select no scroll so the entire wallpaper appears and is not cropped. Scrollable will crop the image and reduce resolution. I believe exact is what you may have selected if a small version of the wp appears in lieu of full screen. Unfortunately i am having some issues with no scroll function, which i mentioned above. Some reviews of the app indicate similar issues.

I have tried every setting, tried adjusting the slide, and still it blows up the wallpaper. Unless someone decides to share what they're doing to make it work right I recommend using multi picture live wallpaper. Aside from having to refresh when switching orientation, this app is perfect for setting a proper wallpaper in HC.

Hi all.
I really like the Blue Sea live wallpaper included with my tab.
Anyone know how much of a hit the battery takes when using it.?
Am I correct that it continues to run in the background when I'm not on the home screen, i.e., using an app or internet?
Thanks.
First of all live wallpapers never use internet .........it takes up less than 1% of ur battery usage cause it use some ram around about 6 MB .....only problem using live wallpapers is it makes ur android lag ........if u have no problem with that just use it ........hit thanks button if I have helped

With the resolution of the Google Nexus 10 being at 2560 by 1600, it can yield some incredibly good displays if the image is matched to the Native panel resolution. Check out the latest wallpaper taking advantage of this exact resolution I'm using on my own Google Nexus 10.
Just set that one up. Looks incredible. Where did you get that?

I wish I knew. I evidently found it using the Chrome web browser and now I can't seem to figure out where the history is to find the page. If I manage to hunt it down I will post a link on this thread.

Funny you posted that. I am using it as my horizontal (landscape) desktop and a different picture for the vertical (portrait) desktop....at the same time.
Both from Interfacelift.
How did you guys manage to set that as wallpaper without the stupid cropping that gallery app always forces me to do?
I use picspeed wallpaper

Go to gallery and when it asks for the application to open the image, select pic speed wallpaper(available for free in play store). Picspeed does notforce you to crop.
It was pretty stupid for them to force us to crop our 1600p wallpapers. Seems like we need to wait for a while to get software optimized for nexus 10

Very good point. I used pic speed too, but if its scrollable then there isn't anyway that it's actually leveraging the image's native resolution. If anyone knows a fix please let us know.

Although I don't have a nexus 10, wouldn't this be because of the nav bar at the bottom? That would take up however many pixels leaving the screensaver to be 2560 x 1500 or so?

No, the stock one would let you select only a fraction of the wallpaper if its very big like a 1600p one like how it should on a 4 inch screen. On a 10inch screen it looks magnified and ugly.

You need to make your wallpaper a size that accounts for scrolling. It's 3966x2560 on this device. In landscape mode, only 1456 of the 2560 will be visible.
or use a launcher that you can disable wallpaper scrolling like apex or nova.

that is one cool wallpaper
That Sir...is one freakin awesome pic! Amazing detail and looks great on the N10. Thanks!

Download Simple Image Wallpaper. It installs as a Live Wallpaper that you can add full images too without cropping. I have been using that and it does work really well.

Good morning! I'm looking for a widget that just shows a (resizable if possible) live map, like a nav app when you haven't set a destination. Does anyone know if something like this exists?
I used a live background that did that? (I'll see if I can find it)
Thanks, yeah I did as well find a nice app for setting up a live wallpaper with different map styles etc. This is the one I tried. It's close, but not what I'm looking for. I want a widget that can cover, say, half the screen, split vertically.
Yip - thats the one I had - haven't seen a widget.
