I have a 11 Lite 5G (first gen) and it connects to most Bluetooth devices automatically, just not with my car (Skoda Octavia mk4 2020 with Columbus).
I always have to enable the Bluetooth manually. That is a pain ita.
I had the same problem with Realme and Poco.
Does anyone have a solution. Firmware MIU Global 13.0.7. stabile
That is Skoda issue. Mine renoir connects perfectly with 5 cars so far.

So I assume you do not have any car from the Volkswagen group? Because it is also not working on my Audi.

I read somewhere (do not know anymore where) that a lot of Chinese phones have a different type of Bluetooth. I had the same problem with Realme and Poco, but only on Volkswagen group models, in my case Audi and Skoda. When I put it in my girlfriends Kia Sportage, he works pefectly. So probably VW doesn't like Chinese
Could be a manufacturer specific thing but I had a similar issue with some headphones that I fixed. Try unpairing the device (car) then pair again making sure full access to calls and call history is granted. It won't connect automatically if it doesn't have everything it seems.
Failing that you could turn on Developer Options and try toggling some of the BT settings in there to see if it makes a difference. The "Bluetooth MAP Version" dropdown selector relates specifically to vehicles iirc.

i bought a brand new Amazfit Pace (International) and updated firmware to latest stock. Setup was quite fine and watch paired with my Phone (Redmi Note 3 Pro) and Amazfit Watch App without any problems. I was also able to connect via MTP from Windows 10 PC and store some music on the watch.
Now i tried to connect my bluetooth headset (Bluetooth Bragi Dash Headphone) without any success. I put the Bragi Dash Headphone into pairing mode and in wacht BT menu it opens BT overview with blinking "Searching" indicator. After a while the blinking "Searching" indicator disappears and thats it. The Headphone does not show up. I also tried with a Bluetooth speaker with same result. Both, the Bragi Headphone and the bluetooth-speaker are working without any issues with my Phone, Windows tablets and other devices.
Any clue or same issue? Actually i like the design of the watch, but possibility to pair a bluetooth headset was a buying decision for me ..

1. Make sure the BT devices aren't paired with any other devices before trying to pair with watch;
2. If BT on watch is working fine, you should stay connect if you go away from your phone about 10m (without barriers), if connection drops 30-50cm from phone then maybe you have a problem with the watch's BT (weak connection due to bad antennae or BT chip);
3. Put phone and any other device around in Airplane mode (or switch other BT devices off), do the same to watch, then enable only BT and try to pair again. There are some known cases of WiFi/BT interference.
If everything fails, maybe the phone/speaker simply aren't compatible if they pair with other devices. Watch should be able to list other BT devices nearby, if the list is always empty, looks like BT is damaged. Try an unpair (reset) and pair again with another phone and/or account on Amazfit app. Good luck.
Hello lfom, thanks for fast reply. I did a factory reset and it still does not work with my Bragi Headphone (150€) (https://support.bragi.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000132569-The-Headphone-Technical-Specifications)
But one good news, i tried with a very cheap bluedio BT-Headset (9€) and surprisingly this headset i could directly connect to my Amazfit Pace watch and works fine...
... so it seems there is some general incompatibility... maybe related to BT 4.0 A2DP version. As you see here http://www.phonemore.com/xiaomi-amazfit/specs/3497 the Amazfit Pace should support BT 4.0 A2DP. I assume the Bragi Headphone does handle the protocolls correctly (had never any issues with them) and they are premium product... so unfortunately it seems we have to wait for fix fom Amazfit side.
Anyone else can report incompatible BT devices? Or maybe anyone else out there tried to connect a Bragi product?

Probably it cannot be fixed by Huami, as the the limitation is the hardware used in Pace (4.0BLE). I have read somewhere that Stratos uses a different BT chip and supports higher version, not sure if 4.1 or 4.2. There is a list of known compatible and incompatible devices in a Facebook group:

Thx lfom, i joined the group and seems that Bragi The Headphone does not work in general (others report that too). Sad that a standard protocol like bluetooth still seems to have compatabiliy issues. Have to live with it and use different BT-headphone. Thx for your help
Hi... my Kaidi headset will not pair Amazfit as well. I can pair Amazfit with iPhone and can pair Kaidi headset with iPhone but never Amazfit with Kaidi. Sad...
i am facing this issue when i connect my bluetooth headfone BlueAnt it shows as connected but with no media..in setting i tried to check uncheck media option and reconnected and even restarted the device but to no success

I'd recommend going to other Bluetooth devices your BlueAnt is paired with and disable media on them and then try pairing to your Le Max 2 again as it seems to be more of an issue with the BlueAnt and other devices causing issues. I've seen on Google that others note for devices with A2DP that Bluetooth car audio tends to be the main culprit.
I tried the same device when it was on stock chinese 13s rom and then it was
working properly...
i then flash different roms ... and then when i settled down for the one
i liked .. this issue arrived... BlueAnt headfone has no issue with my MATE 8, only
it shows no media for a few seconds and then it disappears and then i can
normally use it.

I bought a Honor 8X last week, and until now I'm very satisfied, except for one thing: Bluetooth stability.
I use Bluetooth earbuds and speakers on a daily basis, and on all 3 devices I use, I'm encountering regular drops and stutters during audio playback.
I'm using the same devices with my previous phone, a OnePlus 3T, and I didn't get those issues (well, not BT related issues, I had other ones with that phone )
I'm also regularly having troubles to connect to my Anker speaker.
Anyone else is having this issue?
I use BT headset most evenings watching TV etc no pertic brand just cheap ones and not noticed any issue also had my 8x a week nearly

I don't have this issue, it's probably because of the software. If it's not solved with an update, then who knows what's causing the issue.

Well, he said that the bleutooth device worked perfectly with OP 3T, my guess is that the current software of the 8X is the issue.
I fixed this by changing the bluetooth codec used in the developer settings.
1. Enable developer settings
2. Change the Bluetooth audio codec to SBC from aptX to SBC

What's your Bluetooth headset?Have you turned off WiFi for a try?

When I go to developer options, bt audio codec options are grayed out. Can't change anything...
honor 8x cannot find or detect sony wi c300 bluetooth headset...although honor is very good when using it...i am very satisfied but i only regret in terms of connecting bluetooth headset.
I have no issues with bluetooth, the range is better than my previous huawei P8 max and it doesn't randomly disconnect.
What case are you using? Metal bumpers may look cool but they kill bluetooth and cellullar signal.

Hi! I´ve got a weird Bluetooth problem, i hope someone could help. I´ts about data transfer. I tried to send some photos to my work PC from my new 8X. Did not work, it sends a few percent of the photo and then I get an error message "BluetoothStackserver crashed" or something like that. New, up to date PC with the newest drivers, Win 8.1 64 bit. Well, I tried with different other devices, Galaxy S9plus, Honor 7x, Note 10.1 2014, and even my old Surface Pro (also with 8.1 64 bit) it works with everything but my PC. (And my PC works also with all of them). I brought it home, added to my wife´s PC (older but high spec laptop) and also doesn´t work but this time without error messages. I tried to connect to her phone (some LG) also works perfectly. Sending, receiving. I literally tried everything, newest drivers, reboot, but nothing seems working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Same issue with mine. APTX stutters and is unusable. When I pair headphones that use APTX, I have to turn off APTX and revert to SBC to enjoy listening to music (which is an inferior codec). Something wrong with the software and APTX codec. Hope Honor fixes this in next update.
I am facing the exact problem with honor 8x. Usibg avantree tws 120 and Changing to sbc seems to disable the issue temporarily till i reconnect the buds and forget to revert to sbc as it automatically sets beack to aptx. Worth mentioning i have another galaxy phone which doesn't manifest the problem.

I'm experiencing this issue for a few months now: whenever i connect my smartphone with my car radio (Hyundai HB20) it shows the message "no media" and i need to reconect or turn off and on again the audio streaming in the bluetooth device settings. I need to do this everytime I turn the car radio on.
This happened with my old Mi A2 and now with the Redmi Note 9s. Tested some Motorola and Samsung devices on the car and works fine, also tested my phone on other cars (same model and year) and the problem persists.

I have a bluetooth headphone from edifier, and when I connect it to my RN10 it works for a few minutes and then it's connecting and disconnecting, has anyone experienced problems with the device's bluetooth? the headphone connected to my old RN7 and the pc's bluetooth works normal
does it have a custom rom or using stock? I use QCY T12 and I have no problems on both custom and stock.

I'm on the latest miui global stable, I will unlock bootloader sunday to try with another roms, to see if may be a software problem
I had a similar problem. I disconnected the headphones, deleted the Bluetooth connection, rebooted the phone and added them again. Everything worked. Global ROM 12.5.2, soundcore liberty air 2 pro. There was such a problem once.

Try same bluetooth headsets on different device, different bluetooth headsets on the same device, & you'll know which one's the prob.
