Change display physical resolution - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm new there, so excuse me in advance if I mistake or something isn't right.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (J710F) with broken screen. Ordered a new one from Ali. The seller description characteristics of the screen is AMOLED 1080x1920 pixels (and I believe it really is). But original J7 screen is 720x1280. Replaced screen is good, but looks slight blurry and not sharp.
I suppose the system interpolates image from 720x1280 to physical 1080x1920, so image doesn't look perfect.
I tried to change resolution and density with ADB:
Code:
$ wm size-density
Physical size: 720x1280
Override size: 1080x1920
Physical density: 320
Override density: 480
Then I've rooted the phone and changed the build.prop:
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=480
ro.sf.lcd_width=1080
ro.sf.lcd_height=1920
I'm not sure about ro.sf.lcd_width and ro.sf.lcd_height, because there were no such lines, I added them.
After that ADB says:
Code:
$ wm size-density
Physical size: 720x1280
Override size: 1080x1920
Physical density: 480
$ dumpsys display | grep mBaseDisplayInfo
mBaseDisplayInfo=DisplayInfo{"Built-in Screen", uniqueId "local:0", app 720 x 1280, real 720 x 1280, largest app 720 x 1280, smallest app 720 x 1280, mode 1, defaultMode 1, modes [{id=1, width=720, height=1280, fps=60.000004}], colorMode -22, supportedColorModes [-22], hdrCapabilities [email protected], rotation 0, density 480 (268.941 x 268.694) dpi, layerStack 0, appVsyncOff 1000000, presDeadline 16666666, type BUILT_IN, state OFF, FLAG_SECURE, FLAG_SUPPORTS_PROTECTED_BUFFERS, removeMode 0}
The physical resolution remains the same, and the images on the screen are still not sharp.
Is there some right way to change physical resolution to fit the new display size? Or it is hardware coded and all efforts are useless?
I will be glad to any hints and advices.

[Q] Question about nenw phone

I didnt like now the galaxy mini the qvga display sucks
Please help me what to choose
1.http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_mini-3947.php
2.http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_gio_s5660-3741.php
The Gio or Xperia ??
Please answer
Buna,
Those are both qvga...so I wouldn't go with either.
LOOL Have u ever read :| !!!
They are both HVGA
The question is : should i go for the processor but the screen little ?
I personally would go for the Gio, because I think that 3" is a bit small (Even my Wildfire's 3.2" screen feels small now).
But the Xperia is better in "internal" specs; it has almost twice the RAM and a better processor
The Xperia can also do 720p video recording, while the Gio can only do QVGA.
Objective "spec" comparison of the two devices:

This just posted on techzpert.com with an actual photo of the supposed "leaked Samsung Galaxy S3" this model definitely seems more viable than the last picture that is at the top of the forum however here is the link with more information:
techzpert.com/droid-corner/ is where the article can be found
Apparently it was leaked from the /r/Android subreddit who a redditor over there has a "respectable ranking friend" with Samsung and even goes as far as to list some of the specs which from Techzpert are the following
Specifications:
Camera: 12 megapixels with LED flash and 720p recording
Processor: Quad Core Exynos 4212
RAM: 2 Gigs of RAM
Battery: 2250 milla-amp/hour battery (No brand of battery was given nor the type) but NO wireless charging.
What do you guys think?

Well I have it and it works fine, but not legally for lww I download it externally.
Difference between Qvga and Hvga screen
The Quarter Video Graphics Array (also known as Quarter VGA , QVGA , or qVGA ) is a popular term for a computer display with 320× 240 display resolution.
HVGA ( Half- size VGA) screens have 480 ×320 pixels (3 :2 aspect ratio) , 480× 360 pixels (4 :3 aspect ratio) , 480 ×272 (~16 :9 aspect ratio) or 640× 240 pixels (8 :3 aspect ratio) .
In simple HVGA has More pixel means more sharper image. Better for reading text. And on smartphones and tablets; better browsing experience.

[CLOSED][xiaomi] remove 960fps slow-motion 3 seconds limit?

hello guys i finally got my xiaomi mi 10 ultra... amazing phone, amazing camera and all but i am very disappointed by one thing...i was really excited to try 960 fps slow motion video and i sadly discovered that they are capped to 3 seconds recording (10 seconds final output) and this make them basically useless... who wants to record just 3 seconds slow motion? can anybody tell me why is this happening? somebody told me because frames are stored in ram and so limit amount can fit (in a 12gb ram phone.. really??) is there any workaround or any way (like magisk module) to remove this crap? thanks
The traditional smartphone storage (e.g. UFS 2.1 and eMMC) simply isn’t able to keep up with the sheer number of frames being produced in this mode, making the camera sensor embedded DRAM an integral part of the process.
