Question Moisture detected ? - Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

I'm nearly sure no water has gotten near this charging port, what happened was I tried to use another charger and it would charge for me, then I put the old charger back in and then this message popped up, iv used a hair dryer for like 5 mins on it, and still showing up
I can remove the message by force closing Android system, then I reset phone, and still the same,
Any clues? Or just wait it out?

Defective brick or cable? Use the one that works.
The Samsung 25w brick/cable are cheap and long lived. Using them makes troubleshooting much easier... I have three, the oldest is will be 4yo in October, still A-OK.

When It happened on my device it was because some dirt or fluff got lodged in. I used straw, in absence of canned air, to blow it out

Quick EVO 3D charging question?

I have a quick question about charging the EVO 3D when it is off. When you plug in the usb cord/charger into the phone does the red light come on for a few seconds, the red light shut off, then go right back on for the rest of the charge?
For me, that is what my phone does when I am charging. I just wanted to know if this is normal.
Does everyone else's phone behave this way?
Sorry about the stupid question.
I am just making sure nothing is wrong with my phone.
I have the same "problem".But the fact is,my phone doesn't charge to 100 when does this.It only charges to between 60-70%.But it seems that nobody here on xda can resolve this problem...
Wow...you brought out a year old thread?
Mine seem to resolve itself after the updates. It doesn't do that anymore. Can't figure out why it did it, but now it is fine.

bamp. am i worrying about nothing?
Have you tried the one from monoprice yet? I have one of their cables as well(10ft) and the plug is exactly the same as your picture. I used it on my OG evo and it worked. The only problem was it was a really tight fit and I felt like it was going to rip my usb port out when I removed it.(It happened to my friends evo so I know its possible) Needless to say I only used it once and thats it.
its pretty tight, plugging in and out.
im keeping a close eye on it.
It will work fine...
And yes its safe to use....

Rebooting Problem

I'm getting rebooting issues with my amaze. It has a exclamation point over the battery.
This began randomly when I took a photo at work.
About the phone.
S-on
Energy Rom 6.21.2012
Stock Kernel.
I have factory reset, cleared cache davik, and flashed the rom again. Nothing is working, i still get the exclamation with the battery.
Here's an image for reference.
Thanks so much in advance.

It means that your battery is not communicating with your phone correctly... most likely a bad/faulty battery...
Happened with mine a few months ago. Called HTC and told them about my issue. They sent me a replacement battery free of charge.
20 minute wait with HTC... so in the mean time I'm looking up different batteries online.
Which would you recommend? I heard the Anker 1900 mah is really good.

Kobo Arc 10HD Ghost Touch - FIX ?!

I've been using my Arc 10HD as a picture frame for the last few years going all day, plugged in all the time,
and recently I've noticed that the picture slideshow would stop randomly and found out it was ghost touches.
The reason was because the batteries inside started swelling a bit and it was pressing on the screen from the back,
so I took it apart and removed the charging board from in between the 2 battery cells and wired it to regular
rechargeable AA batteries giving me ~ 3.8v each and got it working 100% again ...

Now it's just a matter of ordering new cells, wiring it into the charging board and I should be ok ...
I guess the new cells would have their own charging board, but shouldn't
hurt anything to wire them into the one I salvaged from the unit.
This battery should do, I'll just order 2 of them:

[Advice] The screen of your phone can easily pop out, please, take care

I dropped my phone (probably for the first time in the 8 months that i'm using) from a 0.5m heigth or something like that, and my screen just pop out of the phone, i can feel that there's a magnet trying to hold the screen but it's just too weak that it can't hold anymore, i don't know if it was part of the fall damage, or if it was happening for a while, and i just didn't realized cause my case had been holding the screen on the place (cause it can hold it still now).
It's a weird problem that i've never seen before, but everything still works normally if i use the case or don't turn the phone down. Maybe in a future fall the cable that connects the screen in the body breaks, so i'll try to be even more careful

Edit: I took it to an service center and they put a glue on it, they said that sometimes it happens with different devices, so maybe it just was bad luck
