I can highly recommend this ROM. Thanx @grewal09 for your work on this Snapdragon 888 device!
While Mindthegaps is recommended, I can confirm also with Nikgapps full this platform is rock solid and stable. If you download your package of choice, you need a release from the nikgapss-T folder.
Tip: A nice and fully functional gcam for this device is the 8.6 release of BSG.

Perfect rom but can't use Google Pay, need to relock bootloader :/
Is it possible relock with Lineage ?
Thanks
Hi,
Unlocked bootloader is one of the causes of a tripped safetynet fail status, preventing the use of Google pay. This behaviour can be spoofed by using magisk or another rom/distribution. You could also just accept it (like the lineage os developers) and look for a Google pay alternative.
Hey everyone.
I wanted to start by saying: What a ROM! As always, Lineage is awesome and highly recommend anyone looking for a new ROM to try it.
Second, I've got one small question, is there a way to deactivate the arrow to hide the keyboard when you have it open? It really bothers me
Another update for those interested, this ROM is awesome when it comes to battery life! I am through the day and still have some battery left. Still don't like the "minimize keyboard" at the bottom of the screen but I'm loving this ROM.
A good ROM with great battery life. Hope it's gonna be actively maintained.
The only thing I really miss is MIUI/Leica camera app, LineageOS' camera app isn't that good and GCAM ports aren't too stable either. Tried to install to some MIUI Camera magisk modules and apks but nothing really works. If anyone has run successfully the stock MIUI camera app on this ROM, let me know how have you got it to work.

Any magisk recommendations ? Did you find a way to enable face unlock for ex. ?

I did that, nothing changed unfortunately.
Regarding my modules, safetynet, audio modification library and V4A for me. Didn't even try to enable face unlock. I use my fingerprint because I find it to be safer.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
The following ROM is a minor modification to the already existing LineageOS weeklies but with added Substratum (OMS) support, better device optimizations and lastly more tweaks without compromising performance and stability.
What's working : Everything
Known issues: You tell
Instructions :
Download latest TWRP
Download the latest build
Download latest GApps
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build and GApps
Flash latest Magisk

Yep you are right, seem to be having a bit of a conflict with magisk. Sometimes it takes sometimes it doesn't. Since moved on to using the newest Moto Camera: v4.0 (6.2.5.12) from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/themes/pixel-gapps-rom-t3746456 and it works great including save to SD. Even though the dev has it listed under Oreo and the zip shows 32 bit or 64bit. Had one soft error when switching to SD card from phone memory but after that it's worked with no issue other than the typical 60fps bug that affects all custom ROMs.

No LTE 4G on Verizon
I started from scratch, flashed stock, upgraded, flashed the 14.1-20180430 and was pleasantly surprised that: Verizon works (Limited to 3G) and Safetynet passes without all the fuss. I don't even need Magisk to run Poke Mon - VERY NICE!!!
I'm sure this was covered before... I guess I don't fully understand why we can not use 4G LTE on CDMA. Is this even a possibility?
Also, Keyboard is crashing when trying to enter the keyboard preferences. I Googled the problem and it turns out many are having it. Have not found a way to resolve this yet. Ideas?

Hi, for now I'm not able to check this unfortunatelly. Maybe it's a ROM problem, both ROMs (Dot and AICP) were builded with same device sources so I think the problem isn't here. Maybe DotOS doesn't support Viper4Android, I'm not using it so I can't tell nothing about that :/ Anyway, Nougat version of DotOS isn't supported for now so probably I can't get help from ROM devs. If you want, you can check some other threads of DotOS for another devices and look this problem, maybe someone had the same problem.

okay thank you and what bout hide quick settings tiles on lockscreen for both AICP and DOTSos
you could really import some costumization settings from RR nougat you have done great job but it still can be better ,
That's ask for ROM creators, not for me ;p If some functions isn't implemented, I willn't add them, this is ROM specified. Possibly you can for yourself try to cherry-pick some commits from RR, add them to DotOS sources and then compile ROM. Nougat editions of most ROMs are not supported for now, just only Oreo, this is for example with DotOS or AICP.

Thanks for good words There probably will be some bugs but as I said, I'm not able to fix this, i don't have enough experience etc and now I haven't got too much time for learning something more about Android. Next thing is fact, that Nougat ROMs are not supported for now by devs what will be impediment for me. I think I'll do something more with Oreo when it will be stable
And anyway I was using this ROM for a week or a bit more and I didn't experienced any reboot ;-;

well, the reboot must be problems due to the use of modules Xposed or magisk. I chance the kernel to v-kernel and don't have reboot, for the moment

I can find 14 I can find 21, the only 20 I found was 56Meg which is incorrect, as it can not be complete. From what I understand Beta 20 was pulled and replaced by 21. Try a search for "Beta 20" or "OB20" in this forum it matches exactly nothing, except for the Firmware thread which only has the 56Meg version which is not a full install-able version. Can 21 which does have multiple links work?

Hey thanks for updating this for us. I'm on the 11/5 release of Liquid from the previous thread, and I know clean flash is always recommended, but can I dirty flash? The Telegram channel in OP is the same as the previous thread, just unsure if it's the same rom or not??
I just ve flashed yesterday the bliss rom and I miss some features (importants for me). Can this rom power on/off the torch with the power button? the double click to it opens the camera (it's good this feature too! bliss have it this). Do you've some problem in install widgets? I can only install a 10% of my widgets, no one's can t help me, we think is a known bug (important!).
Thanks!
Is there any issue if we are on OB21 firmware?

xd, I know! I want to change bliss for this rom, but I want to know if this rom can do what I ask for. Thanks!
Anybody that's installed this having trouble with receiving calls? I can make them, but my phone does not ring or receive incoming calls. I've selected fast t mobile for apn. But no dice.
@syrkles
I'm in love with this ROM, unfortunately I'm unable to connect my USB C headphones (Xiaomi USB ANC earphones). On Stock OOS with arter97 kernel it wasn't a big deal. How can I fix this problem?
Thank you for your amazing work!

Try flashing weeb kernel......the kernel has USB issues right now
@syrkles After flashing the weeb kernel, the WiFi module isn't working anymore. I'll stay on the stock kernel

I haven't tried it yet but since this rom is almost snake os so I think you can flash all the flashable updates zip, no need to re-install
@ducanhmai172 Nice Job!
According to me: CatOS v1 is best custom for Galaxy A50s, extreme debloatware, good battery management. I recommended this rom for gaming and daily use. I can say it looks like Copperhead v7.2 for Galaxy A50 by @Subodh.993435 (Snake)

5. Enable magisk hide

You might need to clear data for apps that check for it (i.e. Play Store) for them to re-check again.

you can try using twrp not rooted with magisk to install the rom. Then choose reboot system and you'll see the magisk app, click update, set things up and you're done. You can go watch androidhowto's video to know more.

Just selinux as permissive
great!! i'm going to try this in the next few days
does this support signature spoofing for microG?
does this need some specific SW binaries/ODM installation or does this work with stock ODM image?
thanks for your work

thanks,
just flashed it today, it seems to work fine.
but then i enabled encryption and... now the device is bootlooping.
"trust" app reported SELinux as "disabled" instead of "permissive".

Thanks for report, we'll check it. Disabled = permissive, kinda no difference.
I'm excited that msm8956 is still being maintained, even Lineage 18.1 is on road, I still hold my Xperia X Compact. Thank you so much.
Hello, I tried downloading the rom but it seems like the .zip was deleted, can you reupload it? TIA.
New version is up with Enforcing SELinux and working Encryption!!!

Finally, what I've been waiting for, can't wait to flash the rom. But can you please tell me if it drains battery on idle like it does on stock nougat and oreo? I'm gonna try it anyway but I'm just curious that's all, thanks!
Also which GApps would you prefer for better performance? mini, micro, nano or pico?

Hey
Good to hear that you are enjoying it.
You won't be able to use GCam on our builds as oreo stock camera blobs uses HAL1, and GCam uses HAL3
Thanks
Regards Jose
Sorry if it's a stupid question but is there any way to get the stock sony camera on this rom as I can't use the GCam.
