no bootloader no recovery - Huawei P20 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi, I don't know what happened but I can't enter the bootloader or recovery or erovery but I can enter the system. The factory reset does not work for me either, it only resets my lock screen.

Phone wont boot

Hi all,
As above, basically i changed the font via fontchanger app.
The 1st time i did it it was fine, didn't like the font so i changed it. This time the phone is stuck on the flashing blue samsung screen.
Any way around this?
Regards
I take it you have tried to take that battery out and reboot?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
yep tried that
Recovery mode (Hold Vol up+power+main button) and reset must be next option.
as in wipe data/factory reset?
Yes.
I dont know of any other solutions when the phone can't even boot.
Besides download mode and installing another ROM/kernel, but that requires a factory reset most of the time anyway.
can anything be done in abd mode?

Stuck on erecovery

Hello
I have a problem with my new phone :/. I bought honor 9 yesterday. Today I update it to C432B183 by HiSuite. Then phone found and installed C432B360 update by ota . Unfortunately Phone found update C432B368 by ota(? I'm note sure this number) and installation failed. I tried to download C432B360 by erecovery, but it failed too. What can I do? Is it normal to brick the phone by downloading update? Should I send it to warranty?
Thank you for your answers.
You can't boot anymore in normal mode ?
I can't. It show only honor logo, then system shut down and I'm in recovery.
As eRecovery does not help ;
Boot to Recovery and try one of these :
-wipe cache
-wipe data / factory reset
Hold down volumeUp when booting for enter in recovery mode.
I tried this too, but it didn't help. The strangest thing is that erecovery starts redownloading from 30%.
Bootloader unlocked ?
Thank you for help. The phone is working again. I don't know how, but I tried download rom through erecovery again and it start working. I don't have bootloader unlocked. But I learned it's very dangerous to update phone and I shouldn't do this again.

Problem with bootloader

Hi.
I have a problem, I would like to know what is happening.
I have the global COL-L29 model.
When i blocked the bootloader with the Multi- Toll tool, the phone restarts and factory reset
All right, but later, when it reboots to be taught, it enters a bootloop and always enters the recovery, it can not boot into the system.
Because it can be?
Thank you!

Cannot boot to os anymore after trying to unluck over patterns

Hi my dad tryed to unluck over fingerprint, becaus it doesnt work he unlocked over patterns, after that he got a black screen.
On boot instantly the recovery pops up with the options "reboot", "wipe data", "connect with mi assistant".
What i tried:
-rebooting
-hard shut down (10sec power button)
-wasnt able to connect with Mi Pc Suite inside "connect with mi assistant" neither on fastboot (there i got the message "connect in normal mode")
What we can do to revover the os withouth wiping the data ?
There's no way other than factory reset, which you can do from recovery.
If you fingerprint doesn't work then it's probably defective. If under warranty, inform Xiaomi.

Is there atleast a way to save data on it ?
Edit:
Well i "wiped all data" now. I dont see any chance to restore anything withouth a custom recovery or connection to pc.

Well, if you couldn't boot into/go past lockscreen then you can just factory reset from stock recovery. No need for custom ROM/recovery for that. Stock one allows for factory reset.

Sasmung Galaxy J7 cant start after Recovery flash

I tried to flash the twrp Recovery on my J7 2017 or SM-J730F.
First i did everything as in the guide so i unticked auto reboot on odin and after it finished it didnt restart so i tried to get it in recovery like in the guide and nothing happened, it just stuck there i couldnt turn it off or do anything so i waited until the battery was empty and tried a new run but this time with auto reset. After it finished it restarted but it wouldnt want to go in recovery and always tried to get into normal android but it only showed the samsung screen turned off showed the samsung screen and so on. The only mode i couldnt into was the download mode. In it i tried to flash and other recovery that showed the same result and i tried to flash the original firmware. but Firmware flashing didnt even got trough and now i dont know what to do to get the phone to work again.
Please help me I just cant get anything on the Internet to this.

You shouldn't of tried to modify the phone in the first place and stood with stock.... First off you don't put auto reboot after flashing twrp you have that option off so you can reset the phone and hold the recovery sequence so it boot in recovery and twrp patches to your recovery partion

I'm assuming this a phone without a removal able battery so you should of reset via the little reset button in the hole and hold the twrp combination while it doing it so you would of caught it

No but there is always one on phones that don't have removal able battery for situations when the phone freezes out.... Google your phones emergency reset button it's usually a little hole in your phone where you put a pin in to trigger a automatic reset
