Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 7E, it came installed with Android 9. Today I wanted to update to Android 10, using the ROMs on the Ulefone Website (Links to a Google Drive).
I found a Warning Message that you should not use the ROM to update your phone ("★Warning★: if your phone is Android 9,you are forbidden to flash Android 10,otherwise your phone must be bricked!!! vice versa
").
So they sell a version of the phone with Android 9 and one with Android 10. I bought my phone (Android 9) this year around april.
Has anyone updated the phone to Android 10, or do you brick your phone if you try to update it?
Thank you in advance,
deecon

Switching from Adroid 9 to Android 10 isn't an update but an upgrade.
You may consider flashing a Custom ROM based on Adroid 10.

Will it work?
I guess there is no custom ROM available for the Armor 7E?
Hi im wondering if it's possible to build android 9 for a device that shipped with android 10 and has no support for android 9. I'm using a Google Pixel 4, running an Android 10 rom that I compiled from aosp. It's fully rooted, unlocked, twrp, custom kernel, custom rom. I'm new to building android but I've successfully built roms from lineage 17 and 18 for my pixel 4, as well as android 10 and 11 for my pixel 4. Im curious if it's possible to build android 9 for the device. And if so, how? The aosp website doesn't give much information on the process.
This morning I installed the Android 12 with One UI update on my US based Tab A7 Lite. It was a fast download, but the installation process took some time. The performance with Android 12 is about the same as it was with Android 11. Just noticed a split screen for the Settings.
Any chance this means we'll get someone to develop a custom ROM now? It had been assumed somewhere in this forum that work wouldn't commence on the Android 11 base with 12 just around the corner for the A7.
Nobody doesn't interested in my tab A7 Lite, no custom ROM perhaps no GSI further. ( no phh patch ).
Thanks for the come back of split screen settings page
It was gone on samsung tablet when One UI 1 (Android 9)
So after replacing the motherboard of my a50s i cant use the fingerprint anymore. it says fingerprint sensor calibration needed. i found a way to enable to via downgrading it to android 10 or 9. but i cant because my binary version is 6. there is no android 10/9 stock firmware with binary 6. someone help me provide a android 9 custom rom or a rom where i can use the figerprint. i tried lisa v1 android 10 custom rom but the fingerprint dosent work there too
