Is there a way to separate both ring and notify bar... With root I mean, Like a module or something? I have tried some unrooted ways but as always it's limited to some extent. I heard that Android 14 will bring that feature but I don't want to go on A14 betas. Thanks

This app can separate notification and ringer volumes, although it won't separate it in the native volume menu, but rather in the app itself. Yes, A14 has separated notification and ringer volumes.

I did try the app and other volume control apps. Noticably App volume control. I was looking for a module or lsposed/xposed module to manually modify the system volume menu.

Has anyone found a way of altering the "System" volume through a Profile app or similar?
I've been using Quick Settings but it only changes "Ringtone", "Notification", "In-Call" and "Alarm" levels, i.e. four out of five, and can't update "System" volume. This means the noise that WhatsApp (for example) makes is the same whether I'm outside or fast asleep!
I thought in the sound setting menu u could alter 4 sound level which are in coming call, media, systems, and notifications.
That is what shown on my sound settings.

Sorry, you are absolutely correct! Only the three of In-coming, Media and Notifications can be changed by any Sound/Profile apps I've found. Apparently I can change the Alarm levels with different apps but that's not under the Sound Setting menu of the G2.
It is still the Systems level that I'm looking to automate changes to through an Profile app (ideally). I wonder if it's a Samsung thing or a Gingerbread thing...

I use Audioguru
Hi guys,
Is there a faster way to pull up the volume levels of the phone without going settings -> audio -> and then selecting it.
I want to be able to change text message sounds, etc at night when it gets quieter. thanks

Silent mode widget toggle? It'd take up a 1x1 spot on your homescreen and would allow you to quickly change profiles. I use one I created from Widgetsoid, but any of them on the market should work.
Audio manager is a free app that lets you adjust the volume of every mode independently. Gives you a nice widget too.

hmm ill look around but wouldnt that make everything completely silent? i just want to turn it down
I have the pro version and you can adjust everyting as loud or quiet as you want. I assume the free version does as well. Download it and see. If it's not what you want, uninstall it.
Previously, I had a sound/volume manager app which allowed me to independently adjust call volume, notification volume, ringtone volume, etc...
Now, regardless of what app I use, settings keep reverting back.
Example, I would like to set the notification tone volume to 3/10 and ringtone volume to 6/10. Every time I do this, it keeps going back to default settings and both notification tone/ringtone volume stay the same regardless.
This is a KitKat issue and never did I have this problem before.
Any other way to adjust volume notifications independently and saving the newly selected volumes?
Install Xposed Framework & Then Install Gravity Box [KK] ?

Thank you. Did this and was able to successfully change the volumes independently.
Any option to remove the navigation bar below the screen/full screen mode?

Possibly, however, I was able to allow apps of my choice to launch in full screen by selecting immersive mode in App settings, used with gravity box.
How can I solve this?
The normal behaviour is to control the volume of media with the Bluetooth headphones, but with the Mate 20 Pro it's independent, so you have to adjust 2 volumes!
How can this be possible?
Samsung gives the option to change this, Pixel 2 XL also doesn't work like this, same thing for iPhone, OnePlus....
Can it be changed? Is there an app for this?
damn it really seems like EMUI has a lot of cons

The other things that bothers me a lot is that you can't get rid of the "displaying over other apps" notification.

you mean the notifications that pop up on top of the screen or there is a notification that says "displaying over other apps" that you can't slide away?
I think there is an adb command to get rid of all pop up notifications (but not sure if still works on android 9.0), it will still vibrate/make a sound and the icon of the notification would appear on status bar.
If it's the second there is an app NCleaner to block unwanted notifications per app but not sure if that is a system notification or something that if you block would block other wanted notifications.
EMUI is flat out terrible...
Lots of these things can be solved. As for the bluetooth volume, oh boohoo you have to use two volume sliders?
The displaying over other apps can be removed like every other version of android. Slide it across, press the settings icon, and turn off the notification.

Quite honestly I'm ok with multiple volumes. Why? Because when I go from one device such as my xb950 to my car, they use two different volumes. I just wish I could have ring ton and notification tone control
same here, lacking the setting to control ringtone and notification volumes independently ....

And also is it just me or is the bluetooth music quality really poor. I have good headphones and they sound like their 12 dollars. I did come from sony though
The question about volume separation between ringtone and notifications for Android devices has been around for a while with many answers but none of them work all the time, but there's a tricky workaround to achieve that without root privileges. All you need is well-known apps such as Volume Butler + App Volume Control it's important to install both of them. Next steps are simple install Volume Butler, launch it and allow all requested permissions and create a profile, in the app Settings place a tick in Ring volume box under Volumes. Most of the articles recommend installing single app which is Volume Butler or App Volume Control, etc... but it's better to have them both, now after you installed Volume Butler go on and install App Volume Control from Google Play Store, launch it and allow all requested permissions as well.
Hence comes the trick, usually after installing only Volume Butler once you receive a call it increases the Ring volume to your profile Settings but after the call ends then Notifications volume gets merged to Ring volume again and Notifications sound is loud again, so you need to re-configure Volume Butler profile which is annoying after each call, that's why you need App Volume Control which allows you to create rules for every app separately and you can use that app as a trigger, let's say you use Telegram a lot, launch App Volume Control locate Telegram click on it and click on Notification line and set volume percentage, in the next tab "when closing" choose --> do not change and click Save. Now when you receive a call it activates Volume Butler automatically with your volume Settings and after you end a call when you receive a message in Telegram it triggers volume setting from App Volume Control so the sound appears more quiet due to your preferred settings. And You can set such trigger rules to any apps on your phone and as many as you want.
P.S.
I have tested this on Pixel 6 and it works just fine and should work on other devices as well. I also recommend allowing these apps to be run unrestricted, you can do that in the phone's Settings, they won't use much battery and it may prevent apps to be killed in the background so they could continue doing their tasks and be stable.
UPDATE
I have managed to separate ringtone & notifications sound with only App Volume Control, no need in extra apps to relaunch the profile or something like that, it works flawlessly, all you need is to open App Volume Control and navigate to System apps, locate Phone, phone calls, and phone services and messages, set the desired sound you want for each, in case with Phone set the same volume for ringtone and notification when starting and when closing leave the option Restore Old Volume. Now when you receive a call it will play loud and once you hang up the next message you receive let's say on Telegram it will trigger volume notification settings for Telegram. That's it.
You can also use this app. It used to increase the notification volume sometimes after a phone call, but lately it hasn't been doing that for me. But if it does you can just re-activate your profile with 2 taps. Quite easy. Recently, however, they did make it subscription based but you can do a $0.99/Year one so it's not bad.
