[Q] App for reducing size of video to use it for MMS - Legend Themes and Apps

Hi,
I'm using CM6 nighties and since I rooted I miss a single feature, that afair was built-in in sense. When I want to send out a MMS with a video, it has to be now correct sized. Is there an app, that I can use to reduce the size of a video on the phone?

[Q] CM 7.03 what does it support?

Could someone help me make informative choice? It looks like cm 7.03 is the best as of now (2 weeks of forum reading ).
Please confirm some questions about cm 7.03 ?
Do both speakers work correct and support stereo as original build?
Does light sensor worked appropriately?
Does camera work?
Volume and soft home buttons fully supported?
G sensor fully supported?
Does anyone tried Skype videocall / voice call? Doest work?
Does YouTube works well?
I know about HD decoding issue but what it means for video playback? Does it play 1080p? Does it playback 720p? Max video file size? Does it play video files at all?
camera is pixelated

Everything you mention above is fine EXCEPT video/picture taking. You can take pictures with the "camera fun free", and video is okay with Oovoo and Yahoo (Skype doesn't support video, and probably never will now that M$ bought it).
They above "work", but are always rotated 90%. ALWAYS. I tried some fixes (sensor fix, etc), but nothing worked (or it broke something else). Since the girlfriend needs this tablet for her trip to Europe (so she can call home), I settled (after MANY roms) on Calkulin's G-Tab v1.1 and pershoot's latest kernel. I have usable video and picture taking abilities, and it's damn snappy. Sure it's no CM (I have it on my G1 and Nook Color and love it!), but for someone who needs things just to work, that's the best bet.

[Q] Unlmited length videos - 2GB limit

I have recently got an LG Optimus 3D and wanted to do some long 1080p videos on it. I've found out it maxes out at 2GB per file and stops recording after that.
Is there an app that can give you the ability to record continuously? I understand there will be a 2GB file limit, but is there an app that splits the files into 2GB chunks during recording?
Hi there!
nearly same problem here but different device. I´m using a HTC Desire HD with CM7 ROM installed. The camera app seems to be the Gingerbread standard app and is limited to 30 minutes. There is no such limitation with the HTC Stock-ROM... (so it´s possible)
Anybody anything?

[Q] [Question] - Is there a way to modify Android video playback speed?

Hi, I just found this great tweak for jailbroken phones, that modifies video playback speed in any app: cydia.saurik.com/package/com.harrisonapps.fastforward/
I was wondering, is there a similar app for rooted android phones that does the same thing? Basically an app that will cause videos in certain apps be played back faster than normal? Thanks.

Modded Samsung Camera apk to bypass video recording limit without root?

Hi there,
The stock camera app is the only one that supports 60fps in video recording.
However, the 5 min time limit in 4K is kind of annoying and I was wondering if there was a mod of the stock app that bypasses this limit.
I haven't rooted my device and don't intend to do so.
Thanks!

Only system apps have this problem, i tried to convert to a user app but i have a problem with mount system, i tried to download titanium backup but the app not works more, anyone can help me? (Sorry for my bad english, i'm from brazil)
Can't you use Open Camera, or lower the resolution of your integrated camera app?
I don't have a Pocophone, so not sure how to navigate the settings.

What is open camera? Yes i can lower the resolution but if a need to record in 4k 60 fps the app closes itself, i want to disable this overheating protection or change the app to user app, in games my phone is much more heat but it's safe

At it's runtime it doesn't matter whether an app is a system app or an user app: both use the hardware resources ( RAM, CPU, GPU ) as needed in same way to successfully run.
Only difference between a system app and an user app is that a system app can get rolled back to it's initial version in case it got updated: that's not possible with an user app.
Ii's absolutely common that when you use your phone’s camera for longer time that your phone is heated up. This generally happens when you shoot high quality for recording videos as this increases temperature. Therefore, you should reduce the footage quality and try to record short videos to reduce the temperature that increases while using.
