Uninstall Xperia U unwanted apps - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Heloo all, i`m from Romania, and i bough a new cell phone from Italy.. I bought an xperia U, but the phone company branded the cell, and now i have a lot of applications that i don`t need, i just wanna remove those apps.
-Virgilio
-119self
-187
-TimeScape
-Configuration Guid
-Tim App
-Cubomusica
-CuboVision
-TimCloud
-MusicUnlimited
-VideoUnlimited
-Music and vide
-PlayNow
-MCAfee Security
Last year i had a Xperia X10 mini pro, and i just had to root the cell, and then unistalled the unwanted apps. Now i have deblocked my Xperia U via fastboot, but now i don`t know what i have to do to unistall those apps. I have to change the ROM ? if that it`s what i have to do, could you please recommand me a clean rom?

Not working, it`s say`s that my Rom is not rooted, and the application will not work, and something named BusyBox, won`t start!

Flash one of the custom kernels to get root. You don't need to flash a full rom

P.S: sorry for my bad bad english, isnt my main language, but spanish

Do u have any backups? If yes, u can restore it.
If no, search the apps, n install it manually. Here on xda should be.
Sent from my Nokia 3310
See if you have the Performance Assistant app that comes with a stock rom. You have to scroll down to see the checkbox for Facebook inside Xperia.

Was hoping you would say LWW, because of this thread. It contains entire ICS /system dump (including /app dir) for Live with walkman.
My advice for you is to find simmilar dump for your Mini Pro, or ask someone (using Mini Pro with ICS) to send you all FB apk files. If you fail to obtain those files, you can always try using LWW's app from mention thread, but since i dont know if/how LWW's apps differ from those of Mini Pro, i cant be held responsible for eventual consequences, you would be doing that on your own risk.
I hope i wasnt too unhelpful

Quick question about Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i

Hi all, very nice effort and job.
I've some questions please:
I bought Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i, this is my 1st experience with Sony Ericsson mobiles.
Under it's battery, it's written (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i)
The mobile have Android 2.2.3
1) Is this forum for it?
2) Does it differ Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 from Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i ?
3) Last question please, If this is the right forum, which is the best( ICS ) ROM for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i ?

hey deveron3 dont be so rude, just point him into the right direction.
well before some mod closes this thread, i must say there is no fully working ics rom, becasue of some missing sources for camera and fps uncap, but just search the development forum, try FXP ,champion's aokp,or VR's xperia s ICS,the 3 of them are fine for playing around for a while, and maybe for daily use if you dont need camera.
about diferences between a and i a is for american continent, canada ,and south america, i is international and its distributed in europe, and its radio bands.
and ,just ask in q&a for x10
peace.

Hey mohgaza,
I've tried 3 ICS ROM's posted on development forum:
Xperia S ICS <--- using right now
RemICS
AOKP ICS
Three are updating every week to get the improvement of each rom, the most reliable issue or bug is camera (only works with 6mpx)
for 2.3.*, i've tried the following and were very stable:
X10S V9 by Championswimmer
Feralab

ICS link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782771
from above link download
1) Xperia S ICS V4.zip
2) Xperia S add-on pack -5 lite.zip
3) google apps.zip (gapps)
4) ICS- Xperia S home launcher.zip
All of this are available in the above link and you flash them through xrecovery, so read and download... Flash the rom first and reboot.. once you rebooted and phones working come back to xrecovery and flash the remaining zip files... clear dalvik cache and cache partition and restart just to avoid any FC...
above rom runs on FXP132 kernel and im attaching it with this post... unzip it and flash through flashtool...
Xperia X10S link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29106815&postcount=3239
download the file from above link and flash it using flashtool... you need to paste this file in "firmware" sub-folder inside flashtool folder..
@udupa : thank u very much, thank u for the interest and thank u for the detailed replay. :good:
I've asked about the link for the stable 2.3.7 ROM, NOT ICS; since it's not complete yet.
U know, I'm not much interested with camera, I'll try this ROM.
But now, yesterday is the first day i carry Android mobile, i don't know what is root nor flash tool.
I'm watching some videos to learn much about the details and then try to do my 1st custom ROM installation.
I want to ask about look and unlook boot loader, Is it better to unlook the mobile, or work while the mobile loader looked?
many thanks & BRGRDS.

Xperia X10S is very stable and smooth 2.3.x ROM so if u want then use it and there r no issues/problems with any 2.3.x ROMs.... camera doesn't work on ICS ROMs.... so download Xperia X10S and flash it using flashtool..... you can download the flashtool from the following link...
http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/
OR
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10738287
Install the flashtool first... read the instructions on that forum about how to use flashtool... check the below link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10879507
Read about it and let me know....
Unlocking the bootloader allows you to flash custom kernels as locked bootloader won't allow that... you can root, unlock bootloader install recovery(CWM), install busy box using flashtool... so look for it and read about it... good luck...
Hit the thank button if u like/want to...

No, not yet, but im sure a dev can fix it. I used that feature on my Xperia X8 so its possible, not impossible to port that feature.
im not into all the technical stuff, but is there enough space on the system partition to store 2 roms on it?
how would this work? will the system partition be split up in 2? will rom no2 be stored on the data partition?
i really cant think of a solution for myself how two roms would fit on the rays internal storage?!
sorry if my questions are kinda offtopic, im just curious how this will work?
and what about the kernel, doesnt have both roms to work with the same kernel?

Yeah, but maybe we can store the rom on the sdcard, it was like that on the X8, the rom was stored on the sdcard.
I think its possible, but we need a developer that fixes it
interesting. guess you have to have a fast sdcard then

Ask sirkay coz he is only the kernel developer. I already asked about this, he said is difficult to do i mpossible is nothing we can do anything if we try hard.

Could've put question marks instead of exclamation marks.. I thought someone got Dual Boot working..
I don't think there's enough interest in this for sirkay to do it. His main focus right now should be getting Jelly Bean ultra-stable, imho. Anyway, it would be cool, but I wouldn't use it, too much of a hassle.

Maybe we can ask nAa to make it avaible for Xperia Ray, because I think he made the CWM port for Xperia Ray, and he also made dualboot for Xperia X8 and X10 Mini.
There's a thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1508017
about dualboot on Xperia Play.
I believe sirkay has made a previous port for Play kernel to Ray, perhaps he or someone else can port this one to ray? Or incorprate the feature into an existing ray kernel?
Would be awesome to get something like this running

[Q] Xperia U

Big greetings...
I am new on this forum and This is my first android phone and i am big noob for this os.
Please do not laugh if i ask something stupid.
I have few questions about sony xperia u, and I need some advice abouth this phone.
First i want to know how to downgrade from 4.0.1 to 3.3.5 (or 3.3.7, i am not sure) and is that possible?
I updated my Gingerbread to 4.0.1. - i wanted to see how my phone will work with 4.0.1
I am not satisfied because phone operations and performances are slower.
i was thinking if i do factory reset my old os - 3.3.5 (or 3.3.7, i am not sure) , will come back, but phone starts again with 4.0.1
Other question is - how to root xperia u and what i gained with that?
tnx

{{NEW}} One Click Root [4.1.B.0.587/.431/ 4.0.2.A.0.62] All 2011 Xperias

Hi folks
Here is how to root any 2011 Xperia running any of the 4.1.B.0.587 4.1.B.0.431 / 4.1.A.0.562 and 4.0.2.A.0.62 firmware . No need to downgrade kernels or anything, just root it straight away
Rooting
Go to settings > Security > Mark "Unknown sources"
Settings > Developer options > Mark USB debugging
Settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode
PC Companion installed on your PC.
1) Connect your phone to PC ( IMPORTANT > Skip PC Companion installation pop up on your phone.) and wait for the adb drivers to be installed. If these drivers don't get installed, phone would not be detected by Eroot.
Make sure nothing else ( specially flashtool ) is running on your PC in the background.
2) Download this rooting toolkit. Google Drive /// MediaFire /// 4-Shared and run it. If any downloading starts, cancel it by clicking the green button. Don't let the eroot download anything.
It should now detect your phone and show an option to "-root". Just click on it, wait till it finishes
3)Rooting done ( For confirmation see if any Super User app has been installed )
4) If by chance it fails for the first time, give it another go. it won't harm your phone in any way. If you still face problem, click on show content below
Go to your C:/ Drive / User/Username/AppData/Roaming/ folder and delete the eRoot folder.
If it says cannot be deleted then open up task manager on your PC and kill bec.exe . Then delete eroot folder.
Still not working ? used the archived method to root 2011 Xperia here below the animated Xperia picture.
