PLEASE HELP: zte z813 root help - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok, I'm new to XDA so please understand that I have searched all over the forums, but have not found the information I am looking for about my ZTE z813 Overture 2. I want to root this phone, but have found nothing on it. KingRoot does NOT work for it. There's no way possible that I will believe an Android 5.1 phone can not be rooted by this time when phones and tablets with 6.0 are being rooted every day. I'm not new to rooting, nor am I a noob when it comes to tech, so I would greatly appreciate any help with this! I've searched all over for the firmware, contacted ZTE USA, and even considered just simply slamming the phone into a brick wall. (No, I'd rather not do the last option, although, it's quickly starting to appeal to me.)
Phone info:
Brand: ZTE
Model: Z813
Name: Overture 2
Carrier: Cricket Wireless (yes, I know, they suck)
Android Version: 5.1
Baseband version: Z813H01
Kernel version: 3.10.49-g3d22cfa-00488-g8088fb1 [email protected]
Build number: Z813V1.7.23
Hardware version: wuzA
I have heard this phone be called the Xuantan before, but it's the Overture 2 as per Cricket.
Previous software I have tried includes, but is not limited to: Framaroot, iRoot, SRSRoot, KingRoot (both one-click and pc-based), and many other One-Click methods. Please, do not lock this thread and tell me to check with the Root Experts, as my device is not listed, nor is it under the "Other" section.
***Consider this a challenge for "The Experts". Find me a method to root this phone successfully, or else my ability to consider them "The Experts" has ceased to exist.
Thanks in advance and I'll humbly await your responses. :good:

Good luck brother,I am in the same boat with my ZTE N9521.

Try the pc version of KINGO ROOT.Try it with charger, driver, mtp, and ptp settings. If it doesn't work, install the kingo superuser apk or kinguser apk and try to root again with the KINGO ROOT PC EDITION.Tell me what happens!!!

What do you mean when you say "Try it with charger, driver, mtp, and ptp settings?" I don't see a settings menu in the Kingo Root PC version I have installed (v1.5.1).

By the way. I tried 'charger', 'driver', 'MTP', & 'PTP' under 'Connect to PC' settings on the phone to no avail. I also tried it again after installing KingoSuperUser.apk & it still didn't work. Any ideas?

Google "disemmcwp".Try that before using Kingoroot or other rooting methods !!!

KingoRoot still failed on the ZTE Z813 even after entering "adb reboot disemmcwp" in adb powershell window. I've tried KingRoot, KingoRoot, Framaroot, Root Genius, & OneClickRoot to no avail.

Flash the "kingo root" zip file from recovery to root your sm-g355h.
to root sm-g355h you need is KINGROOT not KINGOROOT just google it then you get .zip file then put it in SD card and turn off devixe and press volume up,home and power key together. then go to setting install from ext storage find the "kingtoot.zip" and launch it. to navigate use volume keys and to apply use power key

they come pre-rooted from China but it's not a 100% root.
you might need to finish the root with adb runme.bat file.

T-Mobile Coolpad Rogue 3320A - Any one working on Recovery/Roms for this?

So I as successfully able to root the phone using the Windows version of Kingo Root and then installed Super Su and Busy Box but I can't get a recovery to work on it, yet.....would love a Recovery like TWRP or Phil's and CM13 port for this phone.
Finally got it rooted with KingRoot
Just noticed that the build.prop has the ro.build.id-LMY47V
That's the 5.1.1 for the 2013 Nexus 7

Hi I would to know how you rooted the Coolpad Rogue 3320A. I was looking at Kingo root and KingRoot and they dont give good instructions.
I tried the android versions of both KingRoot and Kingo Root without success. The Windows version of Kingo Root failed but the Windows version of KingRoot succeeded in rooting my Coolpad Rogue 3320A.
The Kingo Root Windows app gives instructions in English when you run it. Which are to connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable and enable "USB debugging" in the phone's "Settings" under "Developer options'. Then click the ROOT button when it appears. KingRoot is in Chinese, but I just followed the same procedure.
To get "Developer options" to show in the phone's settings , you need to give 7 or 8 taps to the "Build number" under "About phone" in the phone's "Settings".
Before I tried rooting I also ran COOLPAD-140926-SETUP.EXE in the CD Drive labeled "Coolpad_USB_Driver" that shows up in Windows Explorer when the phone is connected to the PC by USB cable. I also installed minimal ADB and Fastboot and Google USB drivers using 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118 But I think that they may not have been necessary.
The version of Windows KingRoot I had success with was KingRootSetup_v3.1.0.1125_105002.exe downloaded from kingroot.net
There's a setting in the developer options to allow the bootloader to be unlocked. I've not tried to fastboot to work yet.
"Vanilla" ROM or at least vanilla dialer/phone apps?
I'm interested in some kind of vanilla dialer/phone/telecom app set (5.1.1 based) or a full ROM that's AOSP so that I can toss out T-Mo's "Wi-Fi Calling" and use the built-in Android SIP client with its normal configuration screens.
If anyone has accomplished the same with this device or any other T-Mo 5.1 based device, please let me know. I'd really like to be able to configure the system dialer to connect to my SIP PBX directly rather than use a half dozen hacks to give me half-working VoIP calling of my own.
(Note: If there's a T-Mo 4.4 based image out there, that would suffice, as I can at least make VoIP apps intercept dial requests, which T-Mo Wi-Fi Calling prevents on 5.1. This device shipped with 5.1, but it might be possible that a similar model's ROM image might work on this as well.)
/system image
anyone with a rooted 3320a that might be able to provide me with a stock(or rooted stock) image of /system? i managed to softbrick my device after rooting and i forgot to do a dd of the system partition before mucking around in it
thanks in advance
Root Genius Might Work

My Arise don't have a custom recovery either. This kind of disappoints me, as this phone is a good phone for the price.
However, I thought I'd share with you guys that Root Genius may also work to root the Rogue as it does root my Arise. (I don't own a Rogue, so I can't confirm this.) It's always better to have more than one way to root your phone safely right?

You CAN root this with the Kingroot apk.
I'm new and can't post links so to make the links below work just abbrev the http and add a colon.
As soon as I can post links I will fix them.
PROOF:
Hypertexttransferprotocol//imgur.com/a/SXmMc
Here's what I did:
1) download latest kingroot Hypertexttransferprotocol//androidmtk.com/download-kingroot-application
2) enable USB debugging in developer options
3) enable OEM boot loader unlock in developer options
6) enable unsigned APKs
7) install kingroot apk
8) run kingroot
9)?
10) PROFIT
Will update with better details later. Sorry for mistakes and formatting I'm on my rooted coolpad rouge.

Help! Root lg k5

Help me!!!!
Anyone know how to root lg k5??
Model: X220
There seems to be no way to root it yet. I've tried both KingRoot and KingoRoot at least, in their latest versions, both PC and apk, and no method is available yet.
What chipset?
Sent from my VFD 700
GSMArena lists Mediatek MT6582.
Someone has news on this? I've been trying new and old versions of Kingroot (b367), KingOroot and Root Genius, both PC and apk, and none of them can find a viable rooting method yet.
I've read that LG K4, however, with his Mediatek 6735 chipset, has been rooted.
Recently I've tried Kingroot 5.0.1 and the process seems to be able to reach 100% after a few tries. The Kingroot program then acts as if the phone was rooted, but the option it gives is to "Repair" the root, and that won't do. Also, Root Checker says it isn't rooted.

Hello all. As I say in this post I try that method but it wont works for me. So i try KingRoot (KingRoot, not KingOroot) and I can say that this phone is under the requests. I don't know how much it take for the devs to finalized it (there's few phones models before this). Btw good to know. Maybe try a look time by time using the Kingroot pc tool, that gives you more informations compared to .apk one.

What rooting methods have you tried? Looking Stuff Up, that device runs Andriod 5.1 Lollipop, There are several "One Click Root" solutions that rely on vulnerabilities in older versions of Android to get root. *Those vulnerabilities were fixed in Android 6 Marshmallow,) What I used in the past was Kingoroot, but I was connecting the device to my Windows PC using USB, and running the rooting process from the Windows side. There are also apks you can install that attempt to riit on device is you can't connect to a host. King Root offers one, and I think Kingoroot does too,
