Just received my v10 from ATT. Any way to root or install TWRP on it? I see that T-Mobiles version has a unlocked boot loader. Any way to unlock the ATT version's boot loader?
Also anyone notice any differences from the ATT model and the T-Mobile model?
I also noticed that i cant enter a recover mode like on the G2 where you hold down the power and volume down buttons to do a factory restore
we may have to wait untill the At&t to get bump like the G flex.

I got an LG L70 MS323 from the US and I live in Europe. I ordered an unlocking code, but the unlocking menu shows "Phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
Is there any way to fix this? I had the phone for the last couple of months and no one ever tried to unlock it...

LG L70 MS323 is MetroPCS' LG L70 variant. Android version si 4.4.2 stock rom, no root. I haven't done anything, that's why I'm asking for a solution. Ultimately, I'll get it to a local GSM shop in my city and someone will, luckily, unlock it for 20 bucks. But I thought there might be a way to reset that counter, obviously blocked by MetroPCS.
Unfortunatly, you have to spend that extra buck . Some carriers use software to not allow any sim card except theirs, that can, obviously be tampered with , but not this .

So, My LG G6 was the H871 at&t version but I flashed it and now it's a normal us997 non carrier. So when I place my device id and my imei on the lg developer website it shows that I still have a H871 att and that my bootloader cannot be unlocked, any help on how I can unlock or what can I do would be extremely appreciated.
because your device ID and IMEI are still ATT numbers. your bootloader will be locked for good.
After unlocking the lgv60 bootloader, I'm using it again.
For example, change the model name through v600am abl->v600tm abl.
I have a question, so I'm asking you a question.
My v60 is a001lg model. To unlock the bootloader, I used engineering abl to unlock the fastboot bootloader. At this time, I saw that the model name was changed to v600.
When this was restored to pure abl, it returned to a001lg.
A question arose here. If so, I wonder if I can get a v600tm abl and put it in my LG v60 and use it because the model name is changed and booted.
