Have just installed the SMS-Name-Tweak (sms_fix) on my XDA with
the new ROM Software (3.14.16 GER). Sadly it didn't work. What's
wrong ?

There's another thread in this forum that discusses how to adapt
the SMS_fix for languages other than English...
The thread is called "Fix name display for incoming" and can be
found here:

Many thanks, but it doesnt seem a too good idea to use a hard
coded db name! Better wait for a 'regular' fix from M$...

... Or consider switching your XDA to English ...
How they could think that seeing the name for an incoming SMS
wasn't a feature people needed is beyond us. It shows Microsoft
has a lot to learn when it comes to building a phone.

Hi all,
I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, and sorry if it is not.
I have created a free RESTful API for Hijri-to-Gregorian and Gregorian-to-Hijri converter.
For developers who are interested in using the online API in their apps, please refer to the project website: http://www.hijrical.org
I have not yet put on the source code, but the API is on and running flawlessly (until now ).
Thanks.
Hi again,
I have put the source code on codeplex:
http://hijri.codeplex.com/
Cheers.
Hi folks,
since useful apps for interop-unlocked devices start coming and they are spread out through those many threads I thought it would be good to have a centralized thread to find them all! It's also my way of saying thank you for your hard work.

Just mention the FAQ to get them started and heading in the right direction. I have a complete guide in there for installing the Deployment Tools without needing the whole SDK.
EDIT: You are missing the modified YouTube app that supports uploading.
Great! Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback! I updated the post with a link to the FAQ.
About YouTube, you mean this app? As I see, video uploading is not working yet or *may* work in some cases, do you have some more experience with that?
That's the one, but I haven't tested the app either. I don't use youtube too much as is.
